Living Whirlpools
Size: Tentacles-30 Feet, Main body: 70 feet diamator (Appx)
Threat: Medium-High

Basically giant sea anemomies, they use their tentacles to generate whirlpools to trap it's prey, then when it senses that the prey is caught, it binds it with the tentacles while the tentacles inject a paralyzing venom using many very, very small needles, and drag it down to consume it's prey. They sometimes lure in prey using biolumecent patterns that make the tentacles appear to be schools of shiny fish in low-light conditions.

For mermaids, they can prove to be deadly obsticles to younger/smaller mermaids as it seems to enjoy the taste of mermaids. Some of the more daring humans have even approached the tentacles and attempted to gather some of the poison. To date very little of the poison has been gathered.

They're typically anchored to one spot, so once a known area for the whirlpools is discovered, ships can alter their routes to avoid them.

Flying Whale
Size: 80-120 ft
Threat: Medium in water, Low in the air.

When not after prey, they swim in the water just like any whale, but when they find prey, like a school of fish, they can inflate an air bladder, which shoot it up, the whale swallows it's prey, then the air bladder lets it float a little bit above the water as it slowly starts to digest. The air bladder deflates as it floats.

It's favorite prey include medium-sized fish, small mermaids, and even young Airgles, but older ones have been known to shock and nip at the floating whale.

More to come as I think of it.

Just a general question but do these creatures live everywhere or in specific locations?

They're already established that they live in the oceans on the Wiki. They just need a discription.
