Wal and her other personalities, Issuz and Tazlye

Race: Neko
Sex: Female.
Age: 22.
Size: 7 Feet and 3 Inches.
Eye color: Changes with the personalities, Issuz has nature green eyes, Wal has sea blue eyes and Tazlye has fire red eyes.
Hair and fur color: Shiny black, there are stripes on the fur, on her hair it’s the tips(last 1,3 inches), that changes just like the color of the eyes.
Hair length: Shoulder length(though it can get pretty long if she can't find anyone that's good at hair cutting....hey she IS a girl you know^^).
Clothing: A sheet of leather with holes in both ends, wrapped around her chest and tied in front, with a leather strap. A pair of leather hotpants, the legs cut so they won't be horizontal. and a pair of sandals, the kind that reaches almost all the way to your knees.
Prey/Pred: Wal is a pred but she only eats other sentient beings, if she’s really hungry(or if they stole something sweet from her^^') and of course she is prey to the bigger predators. Issuz will never cross the border to predator land. Tazlye will eat what she can find, she doesn't really care who or what it is, she'll even eat a friend if she hungry enough and doesn't have anything else to eat.



Wal, Issuz and Tazlye each is one of the three personalities of a neko mage with schizophrenia, though Wal is the original.

Wal is adept in water magic, while Issuz and Tazlye mostly uses their control of the elements. Since Wal is the original, she is the personality that is mostly in control of the body, this means that when the body falls asleep or unconscious, Wal will take over. Issuz and Talye comes out when they believe they are needed, when talking to certain people or whenever they feel like having fun, which Wal is too lazy to have. The three of them never goes dormant, all three are awake when the body is and can always hear each others thoughts, so they have no trouble communicating. They also hear, see, taste, smell and feel the same. Issuz and Tazlye also functions as Wals shoulder helpers, Issuz is the angel and Tazlye is the devil.

---Wal is a pretty lazy, non caring person, she likes to just go with the flow, she uses her water magic for getting stuff she can’t reach or simply when she don’t feel like getting up. She can however, get really serious when trying to learn a new spell... that will allow her to be even more lazy in the future ^^'
---Issuz is kind and want’s to help pretty much everyone, though there are a few exceptions with some people and some races, she won’t help any predators of nekos, unless there would be a really good reason(Bribes/Rewards aren’t one of them...unless it's sugar or anything sweet, cause then she wont have anything to say in the matter).
---Tazlye is pretty much Issuz counterpart, she is mean, sadistic and she hates helping if she doesn’t get anything in return.

Wal has a kinda strange way of talking, she will say the first word of the sentence and then pause for a second or two, before saying the rest of it. She also talks slowly, taking her time even when danger is near. for example she could say this: "There...is a Dridder behind you" VERY slowly and Very low. Issuz mostly has a calm, friendly and well mannered speech, though she can get angry. Tazlye doesn't exactly SAY her words, it more like she GROWLS them and it can oftenly become some foul growls.

When Issuz and Tazlye starts fighting over, if they should or shouldn't help someone, then they can keep going for days. One day Wal got tired of them fighting inside her head, so she picked up two small rocks, a green and a red. What she did with the rocks, was putting one in each hand and then shuffling them behind her back, she then stuck her hands forward towards the person asking for help, and said to him: "Pick...a hand" Unfortunally for that person, what was picked was the red rock, so no help to that person. Ever since then Wal has been carrying a leather pouch with, 5 green peples and 5 red peples, so that if Issuz and Tazlye starts fighting over if they should help someone or not, Wal just randomly picks a rock from the pouch, or tells the personality in charge at the moment to do it. The green ones means that Issuz will decide, and the red means that Tazlye will decide.

Wal, Issuz and Tazlye wasn't always, Lazy, goodwilled and... let's say psychotic. No, they were like any other normal neko, untill a certain event made them change to what they are now.(this will be in the first story i'm writing about them)

Wal may sounds like the usual slow and weak person, but she’s actually extremely fast and strong, she can pretty easily outrun most other predators, the giant kinds too, and she has the strength of 6 fully grown neko males, but she is purely too lazy to use her speed or strength. There is however one thing, that she will use them in order to get her hands on, and that’s sugar or anything else that's sweet. Wal simply loves anything sweet, she will climb mountains, cross oceans and kill friends in order to get it, if she has to. Issuz and Tazlye however both hates anything sweet(which might be one of the only things they have in common), but when Wal has the scent of anything sweet, she can completly contain them within. This speed and power can not be accesed by either Issuz or Tazlye, Wal is the only personality able to use it.

The reason for Wal's sugar love, is simply because Issuz and Tazlye DOESN'T like it. Their hate for it, kept her from eating anything sweet from the age of 6 untill she finally cracked at the age of 18(this is gonna come up in a story^^). It's not that she couldn't eat sugar, oh no, she just didn't, since Issuz and Tazlye asked her not to eat it.

Magic abilities
Issuz and Tazlye don't really know too many spells, they mostly rely on the common ability to bend their element at their will. Of course they know some spells but it takes time saying the incantations, and in battle sitiuations they don't have much time for that. Wal however has a HUGE range of water spells, some powerfull enough to affect even magic resistant skins and armors. She has even found a way to use them by saying just the name of the spell and skipping the incantation, though not saying the incantation decreases the power of the spells by 5 to 10 times, depending on the spell.

They do all share one common feature with controlling their element. The more powerfull they want an attack to be, they smaller the area of attack gets.
A better way to explain, is with Tazlye's flames. she can make giant fireballs...but they aren't very hot and she can make a tiny flame at her fingertip...which can cut through pretty much everything(not diamond of course).

An interresting fact about Wal and Tazlye's magic is, that they can't be swallowed (unless they allow it or it happens very fast). The reason for this is, that Wal can control the saliva in the mouth and make the mouth so dry swallowing is impossible. Tazlye does the same, except she evaporates the saliva...and burns the inside of the mouth while she's at it.
Issuz REALLY hates not being able to resist swallowing. If she get's into a mouth, Wal or Tazlye has to take over in order to not get swallowed.

Another thing that both Wal and Tazlye can do(Which Issuz also hates XD) is playing jesus. Yes, they can walk on water, though Tazlye jesus imitation, is more like skating. Wal uses her water controlling powers to the water under her feet solid or a spell to make the water shot up from the watersurface and push her feet. Tazlye just her feet with flames, that makes the neaby water evaporates(fast) and the steam then makes her glide in the air, right above the water surface. The problem with Tazlye doing it, is that it takes alot of energy, to make the flames around her feet, so she quickly tires from it.

History

Wal was the only personallity at the time of birth, it wasn’t until later, that Issuz and Tazlye apeared.


Issuz apearance.
It was at the day of Wals sixth birthday, that Issuz apeared(At this point in time, the hair and fur color was completely black). Wal was playing in the forest around the village. She fell out of a tree and landed in the middle of alot of man eating plants. She was dodging their bites and tentacles, as well as she could, but she got whipped and bitten all over. All of a sudden her parent came and saw her being attacked by the plants, they rushed to her help, but was quickly pinned down. A bigger plant was just about to take a bite of both the parents, when Wal heard a voice in her head, saying. “You want me to help? Just give me a name” Wal quickly Screamed out a name. “ISSUZ” Just then the plants stopped, they weren’t moving at all. Wals parents, who was waiting to get eaten, opened their eyes and saw their daughter kneeling down, with her hands to the ground, but something was different, the tips of her hair was green and her fur had green stripes, Thier daughter looked up and to the parents surprise, the eyes had changed from blue to green too. “that was a close call” Issuz said with a giant smile. “Lets get rid of these plants” She said, she raised one hand and formed it into a fist, then banged it into the ground, with this the plants quickly withered and crumpled. Wals parent ran towards their daughter calling her name. Issuz just looked at them coming closer. “I’m not Wal” She said, making the parents stop in their tracks. “i’m her other self, my name is Issuz”

(yes i know, it’s a wierd way to stop, live with it^^)


Tazlye’s apearance
Tazlye apeared around 4 years after Issuz had apeared, this happenen when the village Wal was living in was burning wildly.
Wal had been lying on a branch of biggest tree around, all day looking at the sky and doing nothing but blinking her eyes and talking to Issuz inside her mind, when she got hit by a the giant clouds of black smoke coming from the village. She climbed down as fast as she could and ran for the village, the scene she saw was horiffic, humans wearing black coats and wierd masks were killing the nekos in the village and setting fire to the buildings. Wal ran towards one of them and kicked him on the shin, the man sweared and jumped around a little before calling some of his companions, they grabbed Wal and threw her through a window of one of the burning buildings. Wal had hit her head lightly when she hit the floor and was pretty dizzy, but after a some seconds she could determine, that this was her home. “help” it came from upstairs, it was her parents and her little brother on 2 years, they were trapped in the bedroom, in the middle of the fire. Wal staggered as fast as could towards the stairs while being dizzy, she got upstairs and staggered on to the bedroom, it was blocked with burning wood from the ceiling. “mom, dad? are you okay?” Wal yelled. “we’re not hurt but we cant get out and the fire is getting closer” Her father yelled back. Just then the roof collapsed behind Wal and knocked her of her feet and rammed her head into the wall. “Wal? What happened? are you okay?” Her mother yelled, but no anwser came, Wal was out cold. Wal came to some minutes later, she grabbed her head and screamed in pain, she looked around, everything was blurry, but she could pick out the flames, they had completely surrounded her. Wal was panicing, fire was everywhere and she could hear her parents coughing from all the smoke. “Issuz? Can’t you help me?” She cried. “i’m sorry Wal, but i can’t control flames...” She was cut off by another voice. “but i can” Wal looked around to see who had talked, but noone was there. “where are you and who are you?” Wal asked in panic. “i am nowhere, and i am YOU” Wal instanly got it, the new voice was very much like Issuz, but not completely the same. “Please help me and my family” Wal cried. “Of course i will, but you have to give me a name first” Wal thought a little and then called out to. “TAZLYE” The tips of her hair,some stripes on her fur and her eyes changed color once again but something was different, this time they did not turn green, they turned red. "let's get this fire fighting started" Tazlye said with a grin and started moving in a way that could easily be confused with dancing. The flames were following Tazlyes movements and getting smaller with every passing second. Tazlye then stopped moving with her arm stretched out and her hand ready to snap her finger. "now, BEGONE" She growled at the flames and snapped her finger a single time.

Two days later Wal was standing, holding her little brother, with the nekos that survived the attack, she was crying looking at her parents grave “Why did this have to happen? They didn’t have to die” She cried. “i’m sorry” Tazlye said to Wal. “they had already inhaled in too much smoke when i killed the fire” Wal was just standing there crying. “if the healer hadn’t been killed, they could have been saved” Issuz said. “i know, it’s all those guys fault” Wal said and imagined a picture of the ones that burned the village, she then looked down at her brother. “i have to find someone that can take care of him now” Wal muttered and with that she left the village.

It's not too bad as a character design, although, if we're talking about schizophrenia, tell us at least 2 thinghs:

Her very ideas, manners and speech must change from personality to personality, so I demand more info about every single "part" of her

Second, being a mage, could even change type of spells like -- one personality holds healing spells - the other offensive - the third strategical or at least, could change the element used

you hit it spot on, i just haven't gotten it written down yet, i have a lot in my head, but i'm always bad at getting it on paper.

Next step:
So, she controls three elements, but does Wal have an inner source of magic? Or maybe those personalities are even a link to some other source?
These personalities are born naturally inside of her or have been caused, or created, by something or an event?
Personally, I really liked the specifics of every personality and their way to be, and the fact that that the other ones (the ones not in charge) are never dormant gives so much freedom to imagination, expecially about funny situations XD

I'll wait further for the explanation about the appearance of Tazlye.
