Well I think the idea is interesting and can be cute but this is not something I would see applicated to all fairies.. More to certain species.

Well I think trying to make original things is indeed important to avoid a dull and déja-vu world, but trying to be always and systematically original carry it's own dangers as well ^^;
By the way if you like universe that break many codes, I wonder if you know the game Planescape torment ?
