Lizard elves
Lizard elves are former tribe of elves who used to worship lizard, believing hardly the lizards have been sent by the gods to guide them to the perfection. They their magics and knowledges to transform themselves to a form closer to their idols. They progressively recovered their skin with scales and changed the shape of their eyes to gives them a reptilian look. They turned their nails into claws and grew them a long tail. Their maw is very elastic which allow them to swallow bigger preys. The other elves saw them as an aberration but since their transformations the lizard elves consider themselves to superior and slowly started to prey them no matter their size.

Abilities
The lizard elves have highly enhanced healing abilities which allow them to quickly recover from grievous wounds, including regenerating lost limbs and tails. They are good climbers and good sprinter, they naturally can run across the surface of water. In addition of their powerful tail they can whip at high speeds, their long and sticky tongue is a deadly weapon, they can taste the odors by just licking their lips, they can extend it at an incredible speed to knock out their prey, but if the prey is too big they can't draw back to their mouth. However their most noticeable ability is the strange control of their skin, although they can change their color at will, they can shed it too. A lizard elf can willingly molt when they do it they can change their size too, that's why it's common to see a lizard elves size shift to a human size to a giant size or the opposite with just a simple molting of their skin however when they do that they have to wait a moment before to it again, the time their new skin

weakness
Although their skin and their stomach can stand easily magical damages, the lizard elves are strongly weak against ice and cold based attacks. Indeed they have cold-blooded characteristics and is therefore sensitive to drops in temperature; a sufficiently cold environment will cause his metabolism to slow drastically and become dormant if he is exposed to cold temperatures for too long. To compensate they learn fire-based magic but however they tend to live mostly in hot place. Due to the fact they preyed the other species of elves and they are vulnerable after their moult, many elves try to stuck the lizard elves' body to force them to moult.


PS: The females lizard elves are very proud to lay eggs and the fact they can give birth without necessary the help of the males.

Q: Why I decide to create this race?
A: Because I wanted a creature based on the lizard with a humanoid shape.

A:Because I estimate the elves need to be developed in Felarya, and idea f elf who prey elf can be funny

I open to suggestions and remarks

I had an idea similar, yet different to that. But it involved nekos and dragons. But it's a whole other idea than that, so it doesn't matter.

What happens if they molt in a pred's stomach, or at least try to?

What are their views towards life and death in Felarya (particularly the most ccommon fate).

Ah, I was curious if their reptilian state made them view life and death in a slightly more "alien" way.

He means that after they became lizard, they see the world in a different way. Like how fairies doesn't think the same way as humans.
