Yeah, mibbit doesnt work half the time, you need to keep trying. It works eventually.

DONT USE MIBBIT IT SUCKS

here are some suggestions

http://www.mirc.com/ have to register after 30 days(shareware though i have never registered and i have had it for like ... years)

for other windows clients
http://www.ircreviews.org/clients/platforms-windows.html

if you are using mac
i have no idea

if you use linux...
then you shouldnt need help and if you do need help you really should think about suicide or maybe getting the hell off linux ... nuff said

EDIT also if you use firefox for a browser you can use chatzilla...just look it up in the add-ons

mirc will run off a flash drive... its not that big if you dont put on a tone of addons

I cant use MIRC, and no trying over and over again does not yeild a different result

Alright, since some of you are having difficulties with Mibbit, I will post a visual guide for connecting via mIRC:

First Run:

1. Go to File -> Select Server

2. Find DALnet, highlight it, then click Select

3. Enter the information in the 4 fields and click Connect (Do not enter the <> brackets, they're just there for visual effect)

4. Wait for a connection to be established (It should happen right away, if not, click the lightning bolt once to cancel, and then again to try to reconnect)

5. Type in /join #Felarya and press Enter

Subsequent Runs:

1. Click the lightning bolt

2. Usually, mIRC will attempt to automatically reconnect to your last visited channel(s). If it doesn't, simply type /join #Felarya and press Enter

since my mom won't let me dwnload mIRC and Mibbit won;t work until 5:30 it seems i created a new chat room for us

we dont need another chat room one slow chat is enough

also it would probably be a good idea to point out that mirc is one of the cleanest irc programs there is
there are a bunch others though one of them should work for what you need

EDIT also instead of mibbit

Not sure if it's been posted, but another IRC client (freeware and open source, too!) is HydraIRC. I use it, though I haven't tried connecting to the Felarya chat yet.
