If you use HydraIRC, there's a ton of servers under the DALnet heading. You'll need to manually enter "IRC://irc.dal.net" in the URI box below the server-select list (or manually add it under the DALnet heading.)

Ok, the way this looks, is very disorganized. I would recomend we decide on ONE specific chat.

We already pointed out it would be hard to gather a lot of us in one place, let alone 5. SO how about this, every one should get a fair say in the topic, and your opinion is highly respected, but we can't be running around like chicken's with our heads cut off. The number one rule in airsoft is to be organized (Well...actually that's number 2...number 1 is to call your hits), and that applys here. If one person is in one room and one is in another, it does no good.

What I am trying to say is that you need to all stop suggesting new chat clients and making your own Felarya chat rooms. If you want, go ahead and talk to your self, but it's pointless. I suggest we decide on one and leave it at that. This way if you have an issue, we'll mostly be able to help cause we'll all be using it. Even more so, when people are on it, we'll be together in one chat, not alone in 5 different ones. The only reason to have seperate chatrooms is for RP's, when you don't want to interfere in the main chat (The basic discussion one).

In my oppinion, MIRC works well because if you type /join #Felara <RP Name Here>, you basically start your own chat room, but can still participate in the main one if you would like. For those of you who can't get MIRC to work, or your parents won't let you download it, I would suggest either sticking to the forums, reasoning with your parents, or asking some one who knows MIRC well, to help you out.

I recomend we make MIRC the designated "Official Felarya Chat Client" to make things simple. Like I said, we need 1 chat, not a million, let's make this simple and get the damn thing going. The more we debate, the longer it will take to get a decent chat.

Just to clarify... mIRC is just an IRC client, not a chat service. You can use any IRC client you wish to connect to an IRC chat room (Chatzilla, HydraIRC, mIRC, dozens of others) and you'll all arrive at the same place.

That said, I will second D. Kevin's recommendation for IRC, simply because of this universiality. A #Felarya chat room, and several running IRC RPs, are already in existence on IRC, over DALnet's servers, and have been running with some success. Thus, it's tried and tested.
