| It's probably a cross between how humans do it and how snakes do it, like everything else about nagas.
Also, you two should just agree to disagree. I might sound old-fashioned, but arguing won't solve anything. _________________

| I think there is one thing we can all agree on, we need more pregnant preds! They would be so cute with the big tummies and weird cravings
“Hey, what are you eating?”
“Harpy and pickle sandwich”
“Eww!”
“its actually pretty good, especially with the slug girl sauce>” |

| | interesting concept, but still getting pregnant would i theory require a male naga which are extremely rare, and the only one I know of is Googlememan"s naga yelkavic. But eve then he's only 14ft long. |

| On the other hand, you only actually need one male to father a baby. Of course, you want more than one around for genetic diversity, but it would be ok for the first generation. _________________ Pikachu! I choose you k-chk BOOM!! Ash vs. The Army of Pokemon |

| Then again, it was never explicitly said that male nagas are so rare; simply because very few of us took the time to make characters of the like did we make that assumption. For all we know there may be just as many of them as their female counterparts, just hidden out of the public eye. The simple fact that there are so many nagas in Felarya at all is a pretty strong indication that some way or another, they're reproducing. _________________ My work: http://mickilla.deviantart.com/gallery/ |

| I don't think there's any real difference in the ratio of male-to-famale nagas for the reasons Mickilla stated. But if there really were less males than females, this could be attributed to many reptile species' gender being determined by the temperature of the egg. Maybe male nagas are born at temperatures that are less common than those that produce female nagas. Who knows, but it stands to reason that there's not much of a difference since the giant naga population seems quite healthy right now. _________________ http://forty-two-fish.deviantart.com/ "Is it better to out-monster the monster or be quietly devoured?" - Friedrich Nietzsche |

| Well, Karbs directly stated that there are more females than males, soo... we kinda have to take that as it is.
I do recall him mentionaing that there are a normal amount of human-sized male nagas on the main continent, though.
Fish's theory holds a lot of water, actually. The main continent is obviously a very warm place, maybe female nagas are brought upon by warm temperature. (This is exactly the opposite of how crocodile gender is determined, but........ at least it's something) _________________ Avatar courtesy of Nksrocks

| Let me shatter my own theory. Crisis was hatched in a cave. A cool, dry cave perhaps? If so, then the lower-temperature for males theory has sprung a leak. Maybe, like in humans, it is up to the father's genetics. Perhaps giant nagas are more genetically inclined towards being female and that's just how it is. _________________ http://forty-two-fish.deviantart.com/ "Is it better to out-monster the monster or be quietly devoured?" - Friedrich Nietzsche |

| Ryla is not a Felaryan naga, and so is irrelevent to the topic. And stop suggesting rape. _________________ http://forty-two-fish.deviantart.com/ "Is it better to out-monster the monster or be quietly devoured?" - Friedrich Nietzsche
