I think thinking about stats maybe a bit premature for now ^^;

The more important thing is to think about a base plot and system of play.
I personnaly like the idea of having a main human-sized character with some scenes where you take control of pred character ( that will happen to be a friend later on ^^ )
and a clasic exploration RPG with some special rules to it :
- captured by a sentient pred = not instant death in some case depending of the pred, but either mini games or role playing to get out of the situation
- Night and day time
etc

And I think we shouls start slowly with few stats, few clases and so, then only after add progressively stuff Smile

Well i am going to think about the stats now so we don't have to worry about them later but i will still give suggestions for game play/plot and all that

I do think there should be something like a First Strike mechanic when engaging the enemy like in Paper Mario. Simply, if you hit the enemy on the overworld with an attack, you start the fight by automatically damaging the enemy. The reverse can be true. There should also be ways to interact in the overworld. Not just walking around, pressing a to check stuff. Something like an action button which lets you interact with stuff accordingly, like "hide", "climb", "open" That kind of stuff. Then an attack button where you can initiate some first strikes, destroy destructible objects, and much more. Just to give it more flavor.

Yes, Shrink School does have very fappable good minigames, but then again, there really isn't much to that game than the minigames themselves... *Thinks fondly for a moment and go plays Shrink School*.

Ooookay, back on track. (Damn teacher has the senses of a dridder!) Since a lot of voraraphiles are going to be playing this game, we've got to make the minigames interesting enough to entice them into playing, as opposed to feeding themselves to the pred just to see the vore (Although really, who won't? Razz ). There should, of course, be a feeling of impending danger associated with being captured, such as the pred's mouth looming larger in the background, her tongue licking her lips in anticipation, Jaws-esque music that helps raise the tension, and quick and sparse commands given. There would be very little room for error, drawing the player into the experience. If they fail, a chill should go up their spine when they are placed into the predator's mouth with no chance of escape, followed by a fully animated vore pov.

Epic. But is it too epic? Maybe Karbo has something more quaint (and manageable) in mind than a full-fledged vore experience. Hopefully not.^^
I suppose that such detail could be reserved for boss battles?

I could help design the minigames and scenarios, but the actual animation would have to be done by someone with talent. >_>

Oh- and is there any way to have a scene where Anko is chasing you trying to escape on a small boat, while the Jaws theme plays? Because I think that would be legendary. Laughing

Heh, speaking of Shrink School, have you unlocked the secret image? And the teacher never notices me, actually... I'm just lucky.

Hey wait, I just came up with an awesome game idea! Felaryacraft! It would be like the Warcraft games, where you amass an army and fight other armies, but with Felarya creatures instead!
We could have to or so main fractions, like the predators and the prey


The prey fraction could be focused more on making large numbers of troops like nekos and humans to overwhelm the bigger spices, and you could research stuff that would make your troops stronger and faster

The predator side could be focused more on slow trop production, like dridders and nagas, but they would be more powerful. And could eat there opponents to gain back health!

One of the resources could be like a small village, the prey side could “farm” it for troops and money. The predators could “farm” it for food. ^^

I suggest this idea because it might be a heck of a lot easier to do then to make a whole RPG. I wouldn’t be surprised if I could find the source engine for one of the earlier Warcraft games floating around on the internet. Then it would just be a matter of customizing the scripts a little bit and making new sprits.

I also suggested this because I think Crisis should be the leader of the Predator fraction, and the idea of her in a General hat and shouting “troops, fall out!” is incredibly cute to me. Smile

This makes some sense. Predator repopulation appears to go at a much slower pace than the 'prey'. Though the problem would be that many of the Predators are Fractal, they tend not to line up for war. Faeries would likely have to be the main Predator unit.

Anna would be the better of the bunch, having at least likely read up on military actions in basic schooling. Crisis, while not stupid, is probably going to be having a not-so-merry hell with Logistics, knowledge of enemy resources / types, etc.

I think this was made to be an RPG, not an RTS... though the idea is intriguing.

It'd be kinda like Starcraft in that the prey would be more like zerg (fast unit production), whereas preds are more like protoss (slow unit production, but some strong-ass units). However, it would be far from exact. Some human units would be large (mechs and/or tanks), and able to take on most predators.

Let's recapitulate so far :

A story line mainly based on prey POV with some sequences on pred POV ( and maybe the two befriending later in the game )

A system of day / night with night being obviously more dangerous..
a system of non random battle where you see the sprite of the ennemy ( with maybe some exceptions ), and maybe with a part of running / hidding.

Two type of ennemies :
Regular one that you defeat like in any RPG
Giant predators. Once you are caught, there is a little cinematic jaw-esque playing Razz Then you evade either by talking your way out ( some stats / quests / level would unlock more options ), or by beating some mini games.
