| I can see one problem with mechs.
To a Silver Succubi, it could be a meal in a can. Not to mention all the metal means a nice lightining rod for those with the right elemental bearing. |

| I'd go for something relatively light and fast, such as a hover vehicle, an ATV, dirt bike, or even a bicycle. By rail is my favourite mode of transport, but Malahite is certainly right. It's impractical in a place such as Felarya. Tunnelling machines such as a Nod Subterranian APC can avoid the wall of scale trick that nagas like to use on travellers, though who knows what dangers lie underground. Also, 'jets' aren't very maneuvrable, unless they're VTOL, I'd suggest something along the lines of an ORCA fighter, Venom scout craft, or Reaper gunship. |

| Problem is, if you can make a Mech capable of traveling Felarya in a fast, safe manner, you already have the technology to create better means of transportation. They can be good, yes. But that's like saying tanks are a wonderful mean of travel, and then providing a Bolo Mark XXXIII as an example. _________________

Meh. Still, it's all a matter of taste. Some mechs just have that homely feeling to them, and can keep you safe in a pinch.
I still prefer them to tanks, really. _________________ (98% of explorers have been eaten or will be eaten by a native creature in Felarya. If you're one of the 2% not in this group, copy & paste this in your signature.)

And for everyone else, discussion ends here. I don't want this to become the, what, 4th debate thread?
Anyways, I still support the "Underground" tunnel system most of all ideas. _________________

| I would choose a fast offroad vehical, an ATV or dirtbike. maybe a light troop transport a Humvee, Jeep or an off road truck. those have the mobility and speed to manuver in the Felaryan jungle. I would not use an aircraft as they are noisey and I prefer the cover of the jungle. _________________ Local weapons expert and maker (Yes. I really can make any guns, knives and explosives).

ATV and Dirtbike seem the best to me out of the ground ones you listed, as they are pretty fast and can pretty much be manually moved over some obstacles better than a Humvee or Jeep. Sacrifice cover in return, though.
And Aircraft may be noisy, but it helps that they can travel faster than the speed of their passage. _________________

| Chocobo has only one advantage I can think of: Run out of supplies, you still have food. _________________

I agree that's why I like travelling by using animals _________________ I can call the snows, and wind, and lightning. The trees may bend to me when I ask. The rivers may flow where I ask them to. | Since Felarya is a crossroads between dimensions, many different peoples of varying advancements in technology could come about. Anything from Gundams to horseback could be modes of transportation in felarya, if chances permitted.
There seems to be a pattern, through the drawings of Karbo and the general fanfic, that technological advancement by attaching dimensions don't reach beyond the mid-21 century. |

I think it's more a matter of preference. |

Well, that's true, but I like to think that after a certain point of technological evolution, you reach extinction or enlightenment. Either of which would not go to Felarya. XD
But really, even though it's a horrible idea, I like the idea of a train going through Felarya. Surely there is a culture stubborn enough not to learn from their mistakes! _________________ This Week's Climax! Four Gods wait on the Windowsill, Where eight Gods did War and Will. Joking aside, there probably are. Sci-Fi is full of Empires that only are in existance because their oppossition is simply less intelligent. _________________
