| A song that's occasionally sung by Rosic Nekos, who were taught this song, supposedly, by some friendly nagas at one point. For posterity, they kept the original lyrics. Long ago I went to war To fight the scourge of Felarya I held aloft my mighty tail And said "Let them come!"
I said their eyes are red as flame I heard it told, from pits they came Their breath is vile, their claws poisoned Thus are the kensha of the deepest jungle
I heard my fathers words deep in my heart Daughter, know your enemy as I know my child
The fates were kind, they let me in The kensha's home, the place of terror I placed my fist upon it's heart And with hope I pushed through the marrow
The kensha fell upon the ground 'Twas then I heard a whimpering sound A kensha to his mother clung She only fought to protect her young
I heard my fathers words deep in my heart Daughter, know your enemy as i know my child
And now my son is off to war To fight the new scourge of Felarya He holds aloft his deadly sceptre And says "Mother, let them come!"
He swears their eyes are red as flame And heard it told from deepest pits they came Their breath is vile their claws wicked Thus are the dridder of Sinera
Son, hear your Mother clear deep in your heart Son, know your enemy as I would have them know my son There are not many naga who remember this song however, most having being killed/eaten over the many years. But the Rosic Neko still remember this song, and thanks to a neko named Tirsa, now a few naga have begun to sing it again! (Tirsa, however, met a rather messy end thanks to a vine and a cliff). |
