i have finally made the changes to the dragon wolves idea... that got relatively quickly shot down^^'

Loricatus Lupus or armored wolves in English.

Origins:
The Loricatus Lupus came to Felarya, through one of Felaryas well known random dimensional portals, thousands of years ago.
No one knows for sure where they come from, but is pretty certain it’s either from a world of magic or highly developed science.


Looks:
The Loricatus Lupus are about 9 to 10 feet at shoulder height. They have black, white, grey or brown fur, cowering most of their body, and armor plates cowering their chest, belly and joints on their legs.


Special:
Their mouths are filled with sharp, seemingly normal, canine teeth. They are however strong enough to crush stone or even weaker metals. The same goes for their claws of course. Something special about their teeth and claws are that they can be melted at a very high temperature and used for making incredibly strong weapons or armors. this caused the Loricatus Lupus to be hunted for a while, until a weapons smith discovered that the teeth and claws grows back just like the tail spikes, in a matter of days.

They have a longer tail than normal wolves, with spikes at the tip. These spikes can be shot out of the tail and explode on impact and then regenerate within a few days.

They possess a stomach with a very high resistance to poison, which also drains any kind of non organic energy, rendering both magic and technology unusable. The energy is transferred to a holding organ which runs along most the spine and ends at the tip of the tail. The energy is then used to create, arm and fire the tail spikes. the energy is also used to make the armor plating which grows out of their body .


Hunting habits:
The Loricatus Lupus will eat just about anything made of meat, large packs will even attack giant predators in times of need or defense.


Behaviour:
The Loricatus Lupus lives in packs of 10 to 20 wolves, depending on the area they live in, and how successful they are at hunting. Smaller packs can be seen but they are rare and usually keep hidden, since they would be easy targets to larger predators. The Loricatus Lupus are very caring towards each other and have many different ways of showing their affection.

Living areas:
The Loricatus Lupus can be found all over Felarya, they mostly lives in higher altitudes with lots of forest and rocks to live in though, but when lack of space in those areas come, they will move downwards.


Natural enemy:
(Not sure if I can say Kensha beasts, since they are the most wolf like there is.)

I see it's a remake of the Extraho Lupus because you forget to correct here :

Even if you remove the dragon part, I find them still generic, except their tails which makes a good addition they are just normal wolves.

I gotta ask, How does a stomach render technology inoperable? I can understand magical nullification as it is quite common, and organics have better capabilities of absorbing magic, but unless the stomach emits some kind of Electro Magnetic waves or other EM jamming, (Which still won't nullify tech thats protected from such waves), or unless the stomach immediately renders the use of energy useless somehow, then I don't see any way it can work.

i made an edit to make them seem less "generic" i hope you'll like it.

I think you're on to something here. The armour-plating really helps to make them more unique.

I see them as more of a predator perhaps resticted to an island where Kensha Beasts or other canine type predators never reached. Like Thylacines in Australia.

They seem a little too powerful to me though but that's just my personal opinion.

meat for humans to hunt? X3 sounds like it, cus kensha beasts are sold as meat too right?

maybe i should make a new area for them to inhabit? something like a MASSIVE Plateu maybe.
