Now compare this to what the wiki reads. At least one of them is wrong, or I made one too many assumptions when trying to assemble the layout without the map for what I was writing. Wasn't the Chidokai forest east of Negav? Its eastern portions are always flooded, it says, and weren't the Great Marshes north of the mountains?

On second thought, that could be a boon to my writing, too, but I'd rather not use too much meta humour. So, what do we do?

either edit the description to suit the map, or redraw the map. but if we redraw the map, it should be in parts to accomodate the other sections that are unseen in karbo's current drawing, since many regions are named and described but never shown. like the volcano that the crimson fairies live at.

The need for a new map has been brought up many, many times before. There are many new zones and characters to add to it (both beyond the current scope of the map, as well as new things added inside its current borders). Karbo has already said, several times, that its on his list of things to do.

Just gotta be patient folks.

Also, I have a feeling that mapping out all of Felarya would be virtually impossible, and there would only be a section of it covered. Isn't Felarya more of a vast dimensional plane rather than a planet?

yeah, well at least the immediate region would be mappable. and by immediate region i mean just the area that the map already shows plus a little more. I realize mapping all of felarya would be virtually impossible, plus it leaves ideas open for new regions! ^^

Actually, I tried to make a flowchart map for Felarya; that's where my problem appeared. I don't know if the Great Marshes are north or south of Frost Peak; the location appearing in Great Marshes and the one in Soral Swamp, in the wiki, contradict each other. So I think someone put south instead of north in the Great Marshes' description on the wiki.

With that fixed, the map would make sense once more, even if it's missing some parts. Still, there's one real, unforgivable mistake on it, one even karbo can't be forgiven for: in the map, Vivian is flesh-colored. Unforgivable!

Just kidding. Anyway, all it needs is a word changed on the wiki and everything will fall back into place. So let's close this topic, and go to the change suggestions...

I'm aware there is some problem with this whole south east area of the map. I'll look seriously into it in the wiki soon.
This is partly because the Chidokai forest was added much later and don't really shows here ^^;

But yeah don't worry, a new, larger, more accurate map is definitely on my list and should come relatively soon

true. i tend to look at the map, and the characters in the wiki. which i need to go back and re-read all of them, since it's doubled since i last looked. I dont look everything up when I write stories, i just write what i feel like writing.

you should ask Anime-Junkie to design it as He might be able to use flash and make selectable parts on the map...he might not, thats why i said ask him. I don't know much about making Flash Applets so this is just an Idea. If so He could create an integrated map with your art so a person could click on a place on the map and get a ground-eye view (not sure it matters whether we are talking about a giant creature or a human sized creature for eye view....maybe something in between ?) You could Use Concept art for the Ground view too!....But then again he might not be able to do this flash map thing...i don't know if they are hard or easy...so just ask him
