| Yeah, 140k words is well beyond novel length and I don't recommend you use that as any kind of bar for writing (a novel is typically 40k - 50k words minimum). Short and sweet is what most people look for - which is why many stories submitted on dA are less than 5k words. Make the story too long and people won't bother to invest the time necessary to finish reading it. |
