| Well it's nice to see this place is going well, no huge agruements and seems the majority agrees the wiki is in need of more balance BUT of course said male characters should be well devolped and such. And not just more males other speices that are often underused could stand to see more light as well ^^ ((coughlessnagascough))
Nice to see the community isnt AS opposed as I first thought.

| Well, obviously, like most of the guys, I tend to prefer Female preds , but I don't think I would really mind seeing male vore sometimes ... I even think that a male pred with a female prey would be something interesting | |

| neutral in most cases.. im ok with a male pred or prey but a male on male... dosent sound to well...
i have a male char.. and hes always trying to stay out of fem preds mouths.. but i would jump off a bridge before seeing him fighting out of a male preds mouth.. not that theres anything wrong with it directly... but i dont really see that being a favorable situation.. *shrug*

| I prefer guys to be predators, mainly because most characters and their grandmothers in Felarya are cutesy naga females who eat all the time. Hell, if it were the opposite and nearly everyone in the community liked male predators, then I'd probably deliberately draw some female stuff just for some variation, even though I still personally prefer guys, just cause I like being a little different. Still, I have preds of both genders, and see no problem with that.
BTW, I'm not a fan of the 'invisble/retractable dick' thing OR junk all over the place for no reason, so most of my boys wear clothes. But beware - under those clothes are ICKY WANGS, so be very careful reading my comics since you risk catching the gay.
Still, I'm pretty sure no-one needs to worry about Felarya losing all it's original appeal by adding a few males to the bunch. I mean, it isn't like they're ever going to outnumber the girls, I don't think.

| I have nothing against it at all. But then again, I'm not really in Felarya for the vore. I DO agree that some male predators would help balance things out. Wouldn't hurt the concept whatsoever I don't think. | |

| hm i prefer Female vore of course since it seems sexier for me, but I like male preds also. It depends on the race. So I prefer female humans (giantes or shrunken prey) female snakes and so on but for example male eagles.
I do play some voracious Eagles in an Naruto-RPG where I have 1 female and 2 male eagles and I enjoy the male-vore much more than the female vore there. O.o

| I am a huge fan of vore of numerous kinds, and it interests me more as a plot device and a fascination that it does as a fetish (70% as plot device, 15% fascination and 15% fetish). As for male vore, it doesn't bug me at all, as long as it isn't supposed to be done as a fetish. | |

| No matter how you look at it 99% of most guys are not fans of the sight of a guy in another guys mouth. It just sounds dity no matter how you look at it. | |

Im against males eating people, it just looks wrong somehow As a fetish, I totally agree, but if depicted as a plot device, it could work. Think of it as if Godzilla was eating someone, minus the monster suit.LOL!

| I wonder what do Crisis and Vivian think of that, though? I can already imagine Alvar saying "No, I don't eat dudes. That's gay" right before being pointed by Subeta that's only because he's got a dirty mind.
Also I wonder if the male predators aren't just invisible. Hey, that sounds like a character in the making! A male invisible predator who thinks male on male vore is gay!
...maybe that's too crack-ish?

| I think the "scientific" theory of the few males thing is that an animalistic society or lack thereof would require less males than females to maintain poulation, as one male can do enough work that an equal number to females would be unneccessary... | |

| Don't you guys see? Note two primary facts:
- Females outnumber males.
- Most females are naked.
If there were an even number of males and females, predators would reproduce like rabbits! You wouldn't be able to take a walk in the woods without tripping over an orgy. There are fewer males to ensure that this doesn't happen.

| For a sense of realism, and the fact that you can't continue a specie's existence with out both genders, it goes with out saying that there are male giants in Felarya.
With those males being the same species as the female preds, they are bound to have similar tastes in food.
Then, if there was only a scarce population of giant males in all of Felarya, then wouldn't that lead to some incest? If you think about it, it kinda puts emphasis on the need for more male characters for the sake of biological realism, and the sake of the next generation of Felarya preds.

| We're all related in one way or another, think about it... all from one person (creationism) or cell (evolution). In tribal communities, everyone is one big creepy family... | |

HAHAHAHA OH WOW Sorry, it might be just me, but calling a fairly large section of humanity a bunch of inbreds sounds just a leeeeetle offensive to me. Like saying that anyone who lives in a city is a filthy souless social climber, except a million times worse.

| ...? I said that in tribal communities, most people are related. I said "creepy" because I thought it would sound funny. I retract that particular part of my previous statement, but in some tribal communities, everyone's related. Sheesh. It's true. Incest isn't nearly as creepy as people make it out to be, if it's like 2nd cousins, and in that scenario, inbreeding isn't all that bad. Seriously, all people that are born from cousins are creepy mutants? That's a lot more offensive than stating a simple fact.
But I apologize for saying that that social construct is creepy. It's not. Humanity has operated like that for the majority of its existance.

K, I understand that you were joking, but I must point out you've got your facts pretty far off. I study human culture, and one of the first things we covered was misconceptions and rumors about them, the idea that tribal communities are all related being one of them. There's a load of ways smaller communities avoid it, mainly just by sending their kids to other groups to find partners, which is good for both communites. In fact, all the older African tribes have more genetic diversity than anyone else on the planet. The idea that smaller communities are all related was started due to simple prejudice and misunderstanding. For example, some young men in some communities refer to all men other than their fathers as Uncle, even though there's no relation, so translators get confused. Sorry for the TL;DR but I had to say it.

| *reply to VERY OLD thread ^^;*
Personally, to me I didn't really know I was a voraphile until I was introduced to Felarya. I always liked to visualize predators dismembering and devouring people (WOO blood and hard vore!) and these predators were usually male. The closest thing I came to human-humanoid vore before Felarya came from Cell from DBZ (I LOVE Cell, his English voice is the BEST. THING. EVAR.) who I had dreams of eating me :3 Like, literally DEVOURING my torso and leaving my legs to sit and rot. I loved it.
I said all that to say this: For girls, I appreciate soft vore. For males, it's better for me to picture them doing hard vore. Girls are soft. Guys are HARD >D

| I think the people who can't bear to look at a dude eating a chick are odd. I mean, sure if the focus is completely on the pred I can understand not being interested, but I've seen people happy to draw people being eaten by animals, plants or giantesses, but apparently maledom is TOO FAR, while bestiality and Femdom are A-OK. | |

BURN THE WITCH!!!!!!!!!!!! lol joking, guys aren't always tough guys that do brutal things D= Anyway, im not sure if i replied in this thread before (because of how old it is) but im generally not opposed to male vore, but i wouldn't go around specifically looking for it in any case. i believe the general problem people have with it is that people who are voreaphiles that are straight believe it will make them gay if they look at it because its associated with their fetish. Im sure someones probably addressed that fact in this thread, i just cant be bothered checking.
