Guess who has two thumbs, and a good idea! That's right, this guy!

You know those handle rank things we have under our names? Like Survivor, and Naga Food, and Evil Admin, and stuff like that? I think those of us who have A) Been here for a while, like a year or more, and B) Contributed heavily to the site through amazing ideas and clarifications, as well as well made character design, or even persistent roleplaying. In other words, long term constructive members of the forum. They should get custom rank title handle thingies. ^^

I, personally, think this is a horrible idea. It'll never be enacted.

Only five people for now, and Karbo set the bar a bit high for later people to get handles.

My guess is that you are a lot more active than you used to be.
I estimate that it will be approximately 7 months for me.

So I'll take my helpless self and propose that we have the option to use any old title we've had. So despite actually being a veteran warrior, someone could appear to be a tasty morsel.

Well obviously. I'd think that you could have anything as a custom handle that wasn't either misleading (Like "admin") or offensive.

I think if one make many stories that people like that invole for example Military themes the handle would be
"brave soldier" or "ghilly in the mist" or "commando of the deep jungle" to name a few
or if a person was at medaiting the situation through discussion a title like "the Negotiater" or "peaceful one" to also name a few.

I think the rules do state that if the topic has been posted once before, then there should not be dupes made. So yes, Necroing is acceptible, however, don't raise dead topics if you have nothing to add to them exept oppinions or commentary. Thats what I think many are trying to point out.

Ok i thought of another Handle name, it should be given to anyone who makes a series of Great stories setted in the frigged regions of Felarya, The handle Name Be "Explorer of the Imoreith Tundra" or "Polar Bear of Felarya". do you think these will work? if not state your opion

Does anyone know what the post requirement is exactly? I'm just over 1700 now, but I've also seen people with custom titles that haven't made 2000 posts. D:

I dunno, given how many opportunities there are to make your account stand out (eg. signature, avatar, location) I've never really seen the point in customising titles. It's nice to have a little hierarchy system to work your way up. Still, I wouldn't say no if it were ever implemented!
