Figured I'd post up a couple vids done of Star One songs. Star One is a band made by Arjen A. Lucassen, the same guy who created Ayreon. If you haven't heard of Ayreon, shame on you. Go look up their stuff.
The gimmick of Star One's album "Space Metal" is that every song is a referrence to a classic sci-fi movie or series. Doctor Who, Star Trek IV, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back, Dune, Stargate, Alien and others get songs.
First we have "Master of Darkness" a song about Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. The maker of this vid was nice enough to include good quality audio, subtitles and link it up pretty nicely to the move footage.
...and next we have "The Eye of Ra" a song about the movie, Stargate. I loved this movie, and the series it spawned. Well...Stargate SG-1 anyway. The others were kinda meh. It wasn't the same without Colonel O'Neil. No subtitles, but the audio is fairly good, and the link up with the movie footage is done well.
