I like a challenge, but though I plan on a new species, it isn't anything that wouldn't be out of place for Felarya when one considers a number of factors that are already established in the main canon.

Besides, I like adding some more originality in my stuff that, although different, can easily be explained in Felarya.

Yeah, they are totally different characters. Godzilla is a giant, walking lizard whose current state is caused by a mutation and can breathe energy out of his mouth. Cerberus is a giant, walking lizard whose current state is caused by a mutation and can breathe energy out of his mouth with two extra heads, clearly putting him more in Gidorah territory.

I won't be able to participate in this contest due to final projects and exams.

My brother has been trying to dominate my PC these days. So I don't have much time for writing, and I may not submit my entry in time.

Is it okay to be late a few days? >.<

As far as I know, the deadline can be postponed, but dunno how long. Still, I have to see if I can develop the idea I have or better leave it for a better story, even if it's out of contest.

oh yes , the deadline is definitely flexible. People who want to participate should be allowed to do so

Haaa, I think I will finally throw my cape into the ring for once. I'm a serious technophile, so having a nature-based character might be a challenge. But hey, I need to broaden my horizons.

Ooh! An idea! Yes, yes... I think the AC/DC song I'm listening to may just serve as some inspiration.

On second thought, I'm not going to participate in the contest this time around. I've got way too much to handle as is, and I don't exactly need any more stuff to do. I might submit my story (which I have yet to get down on paper so to speak) as a normal deviation though.

I've been meaning to write a story for the contest, and I'd like to get started on that right now if the deadline hasn't passed up yet >.>

Even with the extend of the deadline, I don't know if I can manage to finish my entries in time (have written about 3/5). Hope that I will make it >.<

oh I started yesterday and got on a roll. If Karbo is willing to wait another couple days I should have it finished.

Done it, and have sent it to someone for proofread before I can submit to the contest. Feel like just lift off some weight inside my head, and transfer it to someone else (lol XD)
