| So I've been really anticipating the 3DS, but I've made my decision to not get the system. Here's why: http://www.product-reviews.net/2010/09/29/nintendo-3ds-price-too-expensive/ supposedly it's going to be around $300 (US). Though this isn't as much about the price as it is Nintendo not learning from the gaming world's mistakes. Sony already prooved that bigger tech doesn't always mean higher sales. It's neat to have 3d on a handheld, but why do it if it's too expensive for people to buy? Of course Microsoft released Kinect, which is $150. Also ludicrous for just a sensor app. Though that's just my own opinion... I'm wondering what your guy's opinions on this is | |

| Well, it may be another PS3 where it's really pricey when it comes out then it becomes more reasonable later. | |

| I don't like to invest in handheld games anymore, it just seems to me like you could be getting a much better quality of entertainment from computer or console games | |

| The point of handheld is to play on the go like on a bus. | |

| Yeah, I give my handheld much more attention than my consoles. I've played many great games on my DS, it's surprising. Everywhere I go, that poor DS with the busted hinge follows :3 | |

| That's true, I guess most of the handheld enthusiasts I know just play them at home, etc. | |

| I really don't like the concept of this handheld.
3D is just as much a fad as Motion control. And chances are Nintendo will remove the ability to turn off 3D, so I have to suffer through it in every game.
Also, I'm not a fan of the price tag. | |

| Perhaps Nintento is attempting to make another go at revolutionizing the video game industry? Since the Wii wasnt hailed as the greatest thing since toasted bread, etc, maybe executives believe that 3D will be the next big thing | |

| I assumed the 3D aspect was better 3D graphics which, while Mario 64 on the DS had better graphics than its original version, it still pales compared to the PSP. Not really like needing glasses. That's just me, though. | |
