Felarya Flash Character Database Submission thread

Use this thread for any submissions to the Felarya Flash Character Database
Also, if you could include any characterisation tags for your characters, that would be great too.

Rules:

Characters can not contradict canon
No really overpowered characters:
- Characters shouldn't be powered to guardian-challenging levels.
- Human characters shouldn't be able to one shot kill a predator by themselves.
Characters must have been used in a story.
If you wish to submit a character that has not been used in a story but HAS been used in a number of Felarya roleplays, I may consider it.

If you have any suggestions for more rules, please post them in this thread.

Please lay it out like this:

Name

Bio link

Tags

Separate tags with commas.

Tags should include things like:

Hair colour
Race
Gender
Predator or non-predator
Any other personality quirks
Equipment. ie: sword, spear, gun

Don't be too specific. If your character has a long sword, the tag is still "sword."

Tags should not include:

Character Name (There is already a field for that)
Age
Eye colour
Weight
Height

'tis gonna be a semi-long list. Also, why is Hair Color not too specific while Eye Color is? It's the exact same level of specific. Same with the type of equipment. That's a bit too specific. Are we seriously going to group all characters who carries a gun? The bio isn't enough information as it is?

Are there limits to who can be on this list?

I don't believe so. Eye colour isn't as major as hair colour. If we changed Vivian's hair colour to to green...

Hair colour can really change the look of a character. However, something like eye colour isn't as a big deal. If I changed Vivian's eye colour to brown, there wouldn't be that much of a difference.
Besides, there is the stereotypes associated hair colour. (Blondes, for example).

What if someone wants to use a character with a gun? Trawl through a whole lot of characters looking for one? Nah, I think it's easier to tag stuff like that. The sword example applies to guns. There won't be a machine-gun or rile tag. They're both guns so they come under the gun tag.

Well, I'll see how it goes.

I typically just remove them from featured and display them in their own particular folder. Leaves very little clutter about. Its unfortunate that even when you select a particular folder for it to go into when you submit a deviation, it also goes into featured automatically - but that just means that after each submission my next stop is the gallery page to edit > remove from featured.

ehm...sorry if im disturbing but can someone quickly explain me what exactly is the felarya flash project? ^^;

Well the Flash project itself is my attempt to get everyone in the community who actively uses flash together and helping each other. Animation is an extremely time consuming and often boring task, it'd be great to be able to help each other with their animations, removing a whole lot of the work, allowing people to see different animation techniques and learning from each other's work as well as improving it and their own.

However at the moment it consists of me working on this.

ehm...sorry for my scepticism, but do you think one life would be enough to make a flash of every felarya character? Razz

One file? Sure. Flash can do some pretty amazing things when it's used right.
