Across Felarya

Slinky nodded, shuffling uncomfortablely from the shrunken girls screams. He didn't dare look at Rhea or Taihaku, just in case he ended up being unvolutarily sick. Instead, he tryed to focus on wrapping the T-shirt around his stomach, hands shaking slightly.

God, he needed a drink. Or maybe twenty.

"Taihaku, what are you doing?" Damon asked watching her carefully, not knowing if she was trying to save her or if it was more sinister. He turned away from Brit and Slinky, looking to Rhea and Taihaku, the situation becoming more interesting to him by the second.

Rhea narrowed her eyes slightly, slurping the girl fully into her mouth, she tilted her head back and gulped down the tiny woman. Rhea let out a content sigh "that was a good pick up" she says smacking her lips slightly, before she regained her composure. Rhea straightened up and fell into line with Damon.

He watched, sighing, more happy that was over more than anything, waiting for Brit and Slinky to finish up as he looked to his four companions, in deep thought. They should do fine, they obviously have no qualms about being used for my personal agenda, I just hope Rhea doesn't mind fighting other fairies....if it cones to that.

Damon's voice snapped Taihaku back to attention, and she quickly brought her arm back to herself. She couldn't answer Damon, though; she had no answer. She had absolutely no idea what she was trying to do. She decided to just shake her head 'no' and focus on keeping her place in line.

Brit finished with Slinky and got up. Luckily, the chances of a wound getting infected in Felarya were slim indeed. The real dangers were with the predators, as Rhea just got finished proving. Well, no stopping nature. He got back to the line-up.

"Are we ready to go, or do we, you know, tend to the soldiers? Most of them are just knocked out..."

"Let them go, if they survive their wounds they deserve to live, I promise they won't bother us again." He said seriously, feeling more focused on his objective, not worried about a band of slavers. "Lets go, we got about an hour walk ahead of us."

Taihaku nodded at Damon. "Let us waste no time," she said, ready to get walking again. She'd put her mind at ease after watching Rhea swallow the tiny woman, telling herself she'd figure it out later.

​Slinky fell back into line, limping slightly to try and stop the pain escalating.

Rhea bore a content smile upon her face, which she soon straightened out, falling into line, she let out a small sigh. Rhea shook her head slightly, lookin around at the group "can we just get moving now?"

"Yes we can, finally, let's go you band of killers." He joked, very proud of their skills in battle, he would make sure to give them bonuses. "Rhea, tell me, how would you strategize if you were tasked to take out a large number of your own kind, with the people you have here at your command?" He asked her curiously, talking A's he walked.

Rhea pursed her lips thinking, she looked over the group, walking along the path letting a sigh escape her lips. "A large group? well that would be difficult, the main thing is not to be spotted." Rhea hummed slightly, shaking her head slightly "in all honesty, it's just better to hope that something better comes along, or hide andhide very well."

"Stealth is a good way, I have some friends meeting us in the village, don't be scared of them, they are on our side." He said smiling to them, seeing the village just ahead.

Brit stretches to look at the town. "Aw, it looks nice."

Taihaku looked on at the village. It reminded her of her home back in Imoreith Tundra. "I wonder how Aki is doing?" she thought out loud as memories of her friend flashed through her mind.

"Rhea, you don't have to hide your wings, I will not fight you over it." He smiled, not caring what the humans there thought anymore, they could deal with the fear for a little while.

"This place better have a bar or a tavern, or I swear I gonna have a seizure," Slinky muttered glumly, shuddering from the thought of no alcohol. The wound had stopped bleeding by now, but the squamataur kept his makeshift bandages on.

Rhea shrugs, shaking her head slightly. She flicked her wings slightly making abrief buzzing sound. The fairy walked past the guards nodding, she turned to one of them "how's the family Dom?" Rhea laughed at the man's reply and continued to walk with the group "don't worry I've been here plenty of times."

"You are quite an odd one Rhea, eat humans yet friends with an entire village of them. I'll figure you out eventually." He said playfully, looking back to Slinky. "Of course they have a tavern, that is actually where we are headed, they have rooms to rent. Make use of them, this is the last village on our trek for quite some time, days away."

Brit checked his pockets. He had enough to buy some bottles. And maybe some rags. Certainly matches or a lighter. He wasn't low on materials as-was, but some extra cocktails couldn't hurt. It was nice that Rhea knew the village; it kind of made him chuckle that Damon was going to try to hide her.

Since they likely didn't need to keep in formation, being in a more safer place, Taihaku decided to head in a different direction, breaking away from the group. She wanted to find a good meditating spot. She started thinking about a blind spot in her senses that she'd been having difficulty getting around.

​Slinky followed Damon doggedly. He could taste the alcohol already... Or that might of been that he could always taste alcohol. He looked around quickly, feeling a bit conscious of being out in plain sight.

"I didn't say everyone here." Rhea let out a small sigh, shaking her head slightly "just a few of them." The fairy looked around slightly, following behind Damon, heading into the tavern. Rhea sighed, looking around the tavern "not so friendly in here, not to everyone anyway."

"It is nightfall, you can all rest on your own time but we leave at dawn, just try and get enough for a full day of walking tomorrow." He said with a smile to the group, some shops and stalls open still. "As for me, I need a new shirt."

By this point, Taihaku had wandered off on her own to a place just on the village. She found a nice big tree root and climbed up it, sitting right at the base of the tree. She folded her legs in front of her, and overlapped her hands in front of her chest, making a snowflake-like shape with her fingers. She began meditating, and honed all of her senses at once on everything around her, except for that one blind spot.
