Biography:

One days, a lava rock got shot out from mouth of an active volcano of Tyrale mountain range. It flew through many regions, until landed onto a very far away part of Felarya jungle.

Where the rock landed stood near a dryad named Rain. Seeing it might potentally cause a forest fire, the dryad casted a rain spell to exhauste the burning rock.

However, the flame still continued to flicker under rain. Worriedly, Raind kept her spell for three days and three nights, until she was the victor: the persistent flame had been put out. But the problem was still not stopped there.

A crack appeared on the smoking rock, and a small creature crawled out. Long hair flickers like flame, eyes black as charcoal shining in the dark, and skin brown like slightly burnt wood, that little human-sized girl was shivering and crying under the heavy rain. Sizzle sound occurred whenever a drop of rain touched her skin.

As a gentle and compassionate being, the dryad stopped her spell, and reached her hand to the little girl As the girl cuddled up to her giant fingers, the Dryad felt burning hot, as if she was holding a little fiery flame. With wisdom from her network, the Dryad realized this girl was a materialization of a flame elemental.

Flame was deadly enemy to her kind, but she could not bring herself to send away such a pitiful little girl into wilderness. Instead, she decided to raise her, despite the danger to herself. Sympathy was her reason, but she also knew that letting an unruly fire element wandering around in the jungle was never a wise idea. She named the little flame element Flamy.

Flamy was a difficult child to raise, not because of her personality – she was a sweet little girl, but because of her diet: she burns things and consumed flame energy from them. The more she consumed, the bigger her body and apptetite become. There were times that her eating was out of control and she started to burn things discriminally, even her mother! Luckily, Rain was an expert in water magic, so she could calm her child down.

In one way and another, after suffering from countless burnt marks for many years, Rain managed to bring up Flamy big and well with both watchful eyes and caring hands. The number of times Flamy went berserk decreased dramatically. Rain also taught her little girl not to harm living beings, including living trees on the list. So, the Felaryan jungle was safe from arson.

However, for some reason, Flamy often looked sad, especially after she was back from hunting, a time that Rain could only hope that nothing went wrong. When she asked what was wrong, Flamy answered that she wanted to make friend, but no one dared to start a friendship with her. Flamy could not handle the frightening eyes of people looking at her whenever she appeared, then she bursted out in tear.

Even though Rain had raised the fiery element into a gentle being, there was still a headache problem: Flamy's body was always too hot to touch, hot enough to cause burnt in long contact - if it was not for Rain's water magic, she would have already burnt her mother to ground. Therefore, people in this region was very afraid of Flamy, not mention hanging out with her.

Rain gave Flamy a big hug – a hot one in both passion and temperature. A big butterfly-shaped burnt mark forever imprinted on Rain's chest as a symbol of a mother's love. Ignoring sizzle sound and smoking bark, Rain said that Flamy was a big girl now, who should see the world with a happy smile, not tearful eyes. And since the world was vast and full of wonders, so there must be friends who accepted Flamy, like how Rain had accepted her.

Flamy stopped crying, and promised to Rain that she would go into the world and bring back a lot of friends. The unsual family of wood and flame parted in that day.

That was how Flamy started her journey into stranger parts of Felarya.


Characteristics:

Not straying too far away from Rain in her childhood, Flamy's world life to revolve only around her mother and burning stuffs to live. However, her curiousity about outside world has being sparked since the day Rain adviced her to go on an adventure on her own. To her, Felarya is so vast, so wonderful, and, more important, has so many nice things to burn.

Flamy's way of eating is unique: if something is burning near her, she will be able to extract energy from them. The more energy she gains, the bigger her growth in size. Flamy is most hungry when she is human-sized and more aggressive in hunting. Her hunger is lessened through the growing of her size, but cannot be entirely satisfied. For that reason, in contrast with predators being deadly with their giant size, a giant Flamy is acutally more harmless than her smaller size.

Thanks to Rain's upbringing, Flamy always try her best to stop eating at her usual height of 60 feet, as growing more will result in a berserk flame elementals who loses all reason and starts to burn things discriminally. This has to be avoided, as Rain the dryad who is capable to stop Flamy gone berserk cannot follow her daughter during her journey.

It takes a while for Flamy to gather enough burnable materials to grow into her usual height – she has promised to not burn any living trees and creatures, but shrinking her down is lot easier. As a flame elementals, Flamy hates water with passion as it can vaporize her stored engery, leading to her shrinkage. With a good quantity of water, such as a heavy rain, she will be reduce into her hungry human-sized form in no time. Trying to water down her size beyond that point is impossible, though it may weaken her and cause drowsiness.

Maybe it has something to do with Flamy being a flame elementals, but she is always hyperactive. Wandering around with great curiousity, she loves meeting people, especially humans as they often possesses many nice stuffs that either interests her or are burnable. However, so far, she has not had any luck in making human friends, because either they run away from her or chase her away

Trying to mimic her mother's memorable embrace, first thing she does upon meeting someone is giving a welcoming hug. Take a note that her body has normal temperature of a boiling kettle, so her pounce often causes burnt marks. Who wants to be friend with someone whom tries to fry them alive? Being oblivious to this fact, Flamy innocently thinks her passion is still not enough to reach people's heart and has to try better next time.

With her fiery skin, Flamy is luckily enough to be not a good prey toward giant predator sduring her vulnerable human size. Even the toughest predators have to think twice about eating her when discovering how hot she is (no pun intented). Being a giant only help her skip this progress of checking, and with her habit of pouncing at people at first sight... Let just say that she also has no luck in being friends with giant people.

Even facing so many failures during her journey, Flamy is stills cheerful and rarely feel sad. The reason is that she has promised her mother Rain to explore the world with a happy smile, as she is a big girl now. What is important to her is having fun while exploring the world until the day she brings back her friends to her mother. [u]

Kacoa

Personality: Shy and distrustful to stranger, friendly and loyal to her friends

Background:

At first, Kacoa was a just like any other normal slimoid, who tried her best to survive in the harsh nature of Felarya.

One day, she discovered an abandoned chocolate factory in middle of the jungle. It might be a case of dimensional swap, and the factory got transfered to Felarya, where predators had done a great job to empty it. Whatever the reason was, she decided to explore the place.
Through the vent system of the factory, she reached a storage which contained chocolate-making ingredients. Attracted by chocolate smell, she spent weeks just to consume those tasty treats.

When the storage was finally emptied, she noticed in horror that her old transparent, flexible water-like blue body had turned into thick brown liquid chocolate. To make it worse, the thickness of her new body also prevented her to escape through the vent system, and the door of the storage was firmly locked.

She had been stuck inside the room for years. One day, she was released by a group of human adventurers, who sheltered themselves in the factory from a violent storm at that time. Being lonely for a long time, she stayed with them to have someone to talk to until the storm ended.

However, her unhappiness did not end there. With the storm was persitently screaming outside, the group’s provision eventually ran out. To satisfy their hunger, they attacked her, whose body was made from pure chocolate. She barely made a escape from these hungry hands and ran into the jungle.

Soon realizing that this new body attracted all type of predators, she hid herself near a lake cause being near water helped her to hide her delicious smell. During that time, she adapted herself to her new body and discovered some new abilities.

When she started to thought her new life was not bad at all, a giant Naga successfully lured her out with sweet words about friendship and captured her. Being fanstatic by the chocolate taste, the Naga put her into a glass bottle and forced the slimoid to cover her preys, who was put into the same bottle, to enhance their taste. Once again, Kacoa found herself lose freedom.

Being treated like an object had broken her mind down little by little, until she really thought herself as a mere spice. When all hopes seemed lost, a miracle appeared, when a human with strange ability got captured. He rekindled her will to live and helped her escape from the prison. However, the Naga discovered their escape, so the human stayed to fight so that Kacoa could escape.

After parting their ways, Kacoa continued her strange life of a chocolate slimoid, who was a prey to all kind of people.


Characteristics:

After the traumas since the day Kacoa got her chocolate body, she starts to be afraid of cramped place. For that reason, she never dare to venture into a cavern or inside something due to her fear of being confined again. Trying to force her go into these place will cause her panic and lose control of herself.

Kacoa also has a phobia about Nagas, and will try to run away at the first sight of these snake people, be giant or not giant. In her eyes, all Nagas are dishonest and deceptive, so she told herself never believe in them.

Being aware that her body makes her a perfect prey for people with a sweet tooth, Kacoa is always cautious and stays away from people. However, her fear of being eaten contradicts to her desire to make friends. For that reason, whenever seeing people - mostly human size as they’re safer than giant predators, she hides and observes them, with an inner fight whether she should approach them or not. In the end, she just silently sees them off with sadness and regret.

Having lost her capablity to digest food inside her body, Kacoa poses no harm to tiny folks like tomthumbs and neeras, who used to be her past preys. In contrast, they are attracted by the delicous smell of chocolate, and she often wakes up with some tinies nibbing her fingers. At first, she felt annoying and just left whenever it happened. But then her loneliness eventually gets her and she let them taste her. At least, she has someone to talk to and these tinies do not eat very much. Thus, she starts to develop her fondness for tiny and cute things. Still, she desires bigger friends.

Peaceful and timid, Kacoa doess not try to solve her problem through violence. However, she is capable to fight when the time calls. Unlike other slimoids who fights with cover-and-digest tactic or forming whips to attack, she develops her own fighting style by taking advantage on the weight of her chocolate body. Being hit by a 10-pound chocolate hammers may not as fun as it sounds.

Even with her body change, Kacoa is still a slimoid at heart and requires water to form her body. Prefer cool and humid place, people often sees her wander near body of water, such as lakes or streams, but she has learned from her past to not stay in one place too long.
Another new weakness: Kacoa hates fire and hot weather, because it is difficult for her to keep her chocolate body from melting.
