Adventure for Infinite Energy! (Said in a Serbian Accent)

Infinite Energy! Not the kind to power your body but to power your city! A eccentric trying to put his mark on Felarya by starting his own civilization is looking for an artifact to power his planned civilization. And to cut down on the costs of soldiers dying, hires a bunch of adventurers to accompany him on the quest!

If I am talking in quite a silly dramatic fashion, it is intentional. Anyways you can be any character you wish, characters cannot be killed without permission, unless you're asking for it, like not moving out of the way of a tumbling boulder. I may be the official GM but you are all welcome to introduce any drama you wish, but it cannot send us on a completely different story line. Giants are allowed in the group, as long as they are not trying to eat their companions haha!

Characters

Elliot Weston-The leader of the expedition. A somewhat tall man with violet hair and eyes. Quite the serious personality when on the job, and doesn't like to share to much information. Would be considered very handsome by most standards. Human.

Damien Smith-A tall, fire-red haired scientist who is accompanying the group. He has a single red eye and an unfriendly disposition. He is not used to travel through the jungle, but is the only one who really knows about the object that is being sought out. Human.

Myron Bland- A veteran human soldier who works for Elliot. He stays silent and obeys Elliot on most occasions, rarely opens up or humors someone with conversation. Brown hair and eyes, about 6'1.

Lass Gillsbury- A newbie neko soldier. She is very nervous about her first official mission and is looking to her companions to help guide her through it. It would be a lie to say she wasn't scared, but she is going to try her best to be brave. Black hair and blue eyes. 5'7, C cup.

Leila shall be joining. OwO And she'll be keeping her hubby from going to eccentric. X3

Hahaha. I didn't know Elliot and Damien were cases of Curtains Match the Window. XD Now, I've been looking forward to this RP...What's the time setting? I'm sure this is before kind of 'present time' in our own RPs in the chatbox and skype and pads, right?

That is quite correct. Back when Elliot led an established group of Mercenaries and is now just starting to pursue a more honorable line of work. Elliot and Leila are married, Michael, their son. Is a teenager.

Oh good, so it's before Kiley was born. =D I'm glad to know that now. ^_^;;;

Who would be appropriate for this...I'd like to said Taihaku, but she's in another RP already. The Techno-Angel would be another good choice, but I'm worried she could turn out to be too powerful for something like this...Think I should risk it and say T-A anyway? I really wanna RP with her more. :33

T-A Would be perfectly fine. Elliot is not that weak either if you remember, haha.

How many characters can you use? Is there a limit? I might be interested in joining. A little post here and there to take off preasure from working AGA a little...Heck may even be beneficial for it. XD

Hm... I guess Kvasha would come along for the chance for some scrap metal. As long as there aren't too many elves about, she probably won't eat anybody

Kvasha - A scavenging Jotun that constantly runs errands for her older sister Natasha, who runs a small smithy back home. Uses giant hatchets and throwing pebbles (read: boulders) to fight and hunt. Prefers the meat of giant creatures to traditional human-sized prey... except when it comes to elves. Those she'll typically eat on sight.

Natalie - a neko who specializes in speed. She isn't too strong offensively or defensively but she relies on her utility belt of kunai blades, smoke bombs, and tear-gas bombs to ward off any predators that try to eat her. Up at this point she defends nearly all prey species on Felarya save Tinies (those, she willingly eats if they aren't on a first-name basis)

Persephone is bored after sitting in a bathtub for three weeks, so she might be tagging along. SOONER OR LATER I will have her finish a quest.

Uh-oh, an elf lover. O.o; T-A's gonna have to be on her guard in this one!

Once Jedi responds I will start 'er up ^_^

Nice choice with Natalie, Val. It will be nice to RP with her before she met Chase haha X3

Nathan Remly - A tinkerer working in Negav, hardly earning enough to make a living in Penelpi. He's worked for human sized folk before, even some nekos, fixing machines that he can get inside. It's a dangerous job, and he wants to get out of it.

It's ok for the nekos to try to eat him by the way ^_^....I might even let them succeed!

(Haha, just be warned. Elliot won't take to kindly to anyone trying to arm any members of the expedition. Lets get this on the road.)

Elliot would be standing in front of a large tree with his soldiers, waiting for everyone to show up. He knew they would be arriving soon, along with his wife who would be accompanying them as well, after the found a babysitting for their teenage son that is. Elliot looked to Damien, who was staring off into the distance, not paying attention. It was late-morning on the western bank of the Topazial Sea, at the tree front about 500 feet away from open ocean, just east of the Rosic villiage.

Lass would be arriving after picking up one of the companions they had hired for the mission. The black haired neko walked to the group, frantically trying to swallow something in her mouth, looking frustrated.

Nathan had been very suspicious when his neko escort had asked to carry him in her mouth for a while, which is why he took precautions and tied himself to one of her back molars. Now his worry seems to have been justified as he dangled in the back of the neko's throat as she kept attempting to swallow him.

Nathan pleaded with Lass, "Stop! We are supposed to be allies in this! Elliot said this would not be tolerated!!!!!!"

Leila spotted the two groups as she flew high in the air. She was neera size at the moment to avoid being spotted by Elliot. She hovered in midair for a little bit, watching them for a second. It had been a while since she last went on a mission like this, and she was glad to be going. A mischievous grin grew on her face as an idea came to mind, and she quickly warped down into the tree above Elliot. She'd silently fire a shrinking spell at Damien and Elliot, then dropped down. She made sure to grow to human size as she landed and, provided the spell worked, would giggle down at the tiny pair. "Hey you two, ready to go?"

Kvasha had spent most of the morning trying to make herself some breakfast. For whatever reason, she had forgotten how to make a campfire and cook food overnight. In the past hour, she had found three different ways to burn herself while she tried cooking a Kensha drumstick. By the time she got a it to a savory, juicy brown, she abruptly remembered that whole quest thing. You know, the one with the things looking for the thing in the thingie? The thought seemed so out of place in her head, the jotun suspected someone was really just whispering in her ear. Shrugging the thought off, since she couldn’t feel or smell anybody on or near her, Kvasha grabbed her drumstick, hatchets, backpack, and quickly made sure her patchy armor was one before she charged headlong into the forest.

Jenna began to seriously regret whispering into the jotun’s ear. First came the pause, then the shrugging, then the scurrying, the grabbing, the packing, all sorts of big giant-y things. The tomthumb found herself thanking whatever deity bothered to listen that Kvasha had some semblance of clothing, unlike most predators. And that she usually stored her prey in her backpack before she ate them. That had given her time to get away from the human adventurer she’d been traveling with, and use Kvasha as a ride. At any rate, now the tiny was gripping desperately to the giant as she rushed headlong through the woods, swearing under her breath as she tried to make sure her various potions, ingredients, and other alchemical items didn’t fly off her person.

Completely unaware of the miniscule being clinging to her, Kvasha blundered into numerous unfriendly neighborhoods before finally finding Elliot and his crew, skidding to a halt and almost collapsing. Doubling over, the jotun panted a little exaggeratedly, burns and a few fresh scrapes evident on her limbs as well as on her cobbled together armor. At length, she sat down none-too-gently, sending a small quake through the ground before glancing at the various people she would normally call prey. “I’m here!” She belatedly announced, “What’d I miss?”

Jenna very slowly slid off the jotun, feeling like she was trying to descend a skyscraper. Though to be fair, to her Kvasha was easily the size of the Empire State Building. One that constantly had to move, much to Jenna’s misfortune. After almost being thrown off twice, and falling repeatedly as she tried to cover her ears as the jotun made as much noise as possible, the tomthumb alchemist finally fell the last few inches or so, hitting the ground with an almost silent thump. Grumbling, the tiny brushed herself off, stepping forward… only to almost get stepped on as a neko too busy trying to swallow nearly crushed her underfoot. Yelping, Jenna balanced between getting angry and leaping away before the neko noticed her, but went for the former emotion, leaping onto the neko’s leg before she stepped away and started clambering up. Having a very bad feeling of where this was going to go, the tomthumb subconsciously reached for an anti-acid potion as she made her way up the towering neko. “Hey! Watch where you’re going, fur-brains!”

(Forgot to mention, I decided to pick a different character. :3 The opportunity to use Brine was right there in the location and she hasn't seen much screen time overall. :3)

Brine could see the goings-on from the distance. Not easily, mind you, as the people up at the tree line of the beach were more than double her length away from her. She was lying face-down on the beach, covered up by a massive pile of seaweed, with her tail laid in the water. She looked over the slope created by the sand sprawling before her. She was curious enough about the human-sized people alone, but when a giant took a seat beside them, she was outright awestruck. A smile spread across her face as the concept of human-sized people and giant-sized people being friends and working together, or doing whatever it was they'd gathered to do. She knew she wanted to be a part of something like that, if for no other reason than to reaffirm her beliefs that smaller people were more than food as others saw them. Maybe she could even convince Zelkova! ...Okay, not likely, but it didn't hurt to be optimistic sometimes, she thought.

Timidly, the giant sea krait naga, with her healthy amount of body fat, slither-crawled out of the water and up the beach toward the group, appearing to anyone who happened to look her way at the time as a slowly-moving hill of seaweed, shells and corals. Should anyone's gaze turn her way, Brine would freeze still, attempting to keep her presence hidden out of shyness.

She dashed through the trees as fast as her feet could carry, she WAS hired for some additional protection after all. She recognized Elliot and Leila, they were one of the more recognizable couples within Felarya, and so she redirected the trajectory of her next bound. From the tree-tops smoothly leaping down towards the forest floor, she knelt before Elliot and Damien.
"Natalie, reporting for duty on schedule, sirs," she said, waiting for a sign of confirmation before rising.

Since A Grande Adventure seems not dead after all, I've decided to not use Persephone for now.
In that light, mind if I join the party a bit late?

Sure, you can join a bit later if you wish. I will make my post soon. Homework and all.
