| Okay, so, most of us know that the main currency in Negav is skevols right? http://www.felarya.com/wiki/index.php?title=Currency
It describes them as shiny and ornate one inch coins made of Tessium. But how does this work for people who are 3 inches tall or less? Surely there must be some miniature form of skevol for tinies living in Negav? Or do they just expect them to not be able to pay for anything?
I want your thoughts. Do you think there should be a miniature form of Skevols for tinies? Would they work the same way, or would they be worth less than the full-size version? What would tinies use currency for?

| Its not feasible. Due to size, and why and how would there be an industry dedicated to making the currency for them. I think tinies trade goods and services as currency, which unfortunately is about just as difficult to do. That's the problem with being a minority size in an otherwise majority size city. Your needs are different. This is also why tinies aren't seen too much. They live by themselves in Negav, have their own currency (I'd wager), and occasionally trade outside. This would be in major chemical goods, I'd wager, and things they'd be renowned for. They would probably use this as bribery for political advantages. I can imagine them selling intense native toxins to the vishmitals in exchange for protection from nekos, for example, to the point where a tiny can claim "She tried to eat me!" and get the neko locked away. Similar to a girl declaring "rape!" in public and getting away with it. - Spoiler:
because nobody questions whether the girl is telling the truth -she's a girl and it means it must have happened

| Any tinies who are smart could just get good ties with humans by offering their services (in areas you might need little hands for) the humans then can prvide whatever the Tinie wants in exchange since humans have the buying power. | |

| I think tinies trading. Licora Seeds and other small crops would work as currency for tinies

| Why can't regular skevols be resized? Sure, only fairies are supposed to be born with that ability, but it's not impossible there's mages here and there who can manage it at least with money, or even a friendly fairy or two. There could be some kind of service at banks and related places where you can pay to have your money resized, the same way you could exchange it for foreign currency. | |

| I do understand where you guys are coming from with tinies offering services in exchange for things, but I don't think that's feasible for businesses with many customers, both tiny and human-sized, or things which have minimal contact between the customer and the business owner, like going to see a stage play.
And what about people who manage to get shrunk while within Negav's walls, via potion, dusk nymph, making it back to the city from the wilderness, or some other situation? If they had money on them, is it suddenly no good because it's too small?

| Unless my mind's messing with me, perma-shrinking is rare to come by, and definitely not from a Fairy. Well, maybe the Fairy Queen herself, but not many more. | |

| I believe the wiki did talk about this before, to comedic effect, in regards to Pelnepi. It was said that due to their physical limitations they couldn't handle money and thus Negavian attempts to impose taxes were forfeit. Seems to have been lost in the recent wiki shuffles though. This also wouldn't preclude a currency used by tinies only.
Trying to handle a coin the size of a pin head would be hard. Resizing isn't terribly feasible due to the small market, its lower buying power, requirement of point-of-sale resizing, and the rarity of the skill. And, if they can re-size Tessium, they could probably make more money just undercutting the precious minerals market. So, this would also require special limitations.
For businesses, it would probably make more sense to hire tiny employees to handle tiny customers. They would have to make many other concessions anyways. The consequence is that it would make human run business for tinies very small. Human prices would push tinies to tiny businesses instead, reducing possible profit. Since they can't generally charge as much, this can be done with the smaller skeda coins which may be more reasonably sized while still being easily exchangeable.
I could only imagine a tiny shevol being useless until they could return it to its original size (if ever). It's the Tessium that gives it value after all. But, for aforementioned reasons, re-sizing would probably cost more than the value of the coins anyways. May be worth it if you get yourself back to size as well, though.
In summary, I think that they would trade with humans via goods and services or a human broker for large purchases and via skedas or tiny employees for smaller purchases. Intrasize trade could be made via a more convenient commodity. Services could then pop-up to exchange them for the less convenient, but still useable, skedas.
