How did you create/developed your Felaryan Characters?

My answer:
I created mine when I first read Aurora's Story and decided to write a story with my own naga. I used a fire naga since no one seemed to use them when I went to search for any nagas I can use. I love fire and I thought making a naga character who can control fire and use fire magic could be fun. Smile I was going to write a forbidden friendship type of story with Kayla being the dridder and Anastasia a naga and their families don't approve of their friendship. As I thought about it long enough, I decided to make it a love story between the fire naga and a human, Kayla being her rival and Sylar being her adoptive mother.

I created Kayla to originally be Anastasia's friend, but then made her rivals with the fire naga instead. I gave her snappy and resentful personality. She's also prone to jealousy and will not stop til she gets what she wants, hence why she would always challenge Anastasia in a fight after being beaten by her many times.

I had my fire succubi, Sylar, to act more like an elderly mother towards Anastasia and always brought up old memories whenever she visited her. Sylar raised Anastasia herself, so I thought it'd be fitting to ridicule her adoptive daughter in front of Kayla or anyone else or, as I said before, bring up old memories when the fire naga was young.

So these are just some of the characters I developed and shaped. Smile

Most of my important characters spawned from an idea of some sort that was inspired by something else. Naharou was inspired mainly by Twilight Princess Link, with the double clawshots and everything; Kinara and the rest of the Shakala species were inspired by Calgara from the One Piece series; The Techno-Angel was inspired by Ne Zha from Warriors Orochi 3; Molly and Geno were inspired by Super Mario RPG's Geno. I then put them through a process of interactions with other characters in RPs, creating as many unique and organic interactions withwanted each one to be as unique and interesting as possible, creating parts of their personality that fit as I went along. Little details, like what flavours and smells they enjoy, their pet peeves, things like that really deepen a character. Each small detail makes a character feel more real, relatable, and organic, making them more interesting to read about and interact with.

That's very interesting, Nyah. ^^ I too based one character based on Squidward from Spongebob. She's one of my newer ones. Very Happy It's amazing how cartoons can inspire us to make our oc's.

I got inspiration for Greagan from the cybeasts transformations from Megaman Battle Network 6: Cybeast Falzar and Cybeast Gregar. My younger self wondered what it would look like if both transformations happened and then the first version of Greagan was born. After that I changed him bit by bit with some help from my friends and I would randomly think up new things for him that would seem to work perfectly at the time that would later get replaced or changed to better fit Felarya. One of my first versions of Greagan in Felarya had him be able to channel different types of elemental magic through all of his limbs at the same time. Looking back on that now I can see how bad that would've been to keep on him unless I limited it severely but I'm glad I gave it to him initially since the changes I've made to it helped lead to some of Greagan's current traits and quirks that I am very proud of.

That's interesting, Sav (Sorry, I have trouble remembering names...even usernames. >_> So sorry if I get your username wrong.) I always try to put limits in my character as well, though it's difficult to do that. Perhaps it's because it's my first time putting magic in my characters. >_> Although I made Anastasia weak against water, so her fire magic wouldn't be that strong and neither would her physical body. One touch of water and it'll hurt her and lower her fire statuses like boosts and energy.
