My OC-s: Ishida and Agate

Description: Ishida is a young man with an average height and has well-toned, naturally muscular body. He has long, shoulder-lenght brown hair usually kept in a ponytail; and almond-shaped green eyes. His attire changes from time to time, but he always wears his signature green headband and a greep cape he bought at Safe Harbor.
He has a calm and collected, yet easy-going and friendly personality. He likes to bond new friendships, even with non-humans (which really annoys Agate). Ishida is very protective and loyal for his friends and never lets them down.His another personality traits are his stubborness and his unwavering determination. He never gives up, even when the odds are against him, yet he knows when when to retreat.
He also has a sense for adventure and is always ready to discover the secrets of Felarya and know more about this world. His curiosity sometimes would lead him troubles, but he overcomes the using his cleverness and Agate's help.

Background: He originates from Tokyo, Japan. However, while he and his parents were flying from Tokyo to New York, they suffered a plane crash above the ocean. He only survived due to random dimensional anomaly, which transported him to Felarya. After he found his family's katana (made by Ishida's great-grandfather, the last swordsmith of their family, so it was originally a family artifact), which was mysteriously also transported, he met and befriended with a half-elf half-fairy named Agate, who revealed that he is in Felarya and taught him the basics of survival. Since then, they became friends and partners, who help each other in any trouble. He is currently living in the Tolmeshal Forest, in Agate's treetop house.

Skills and abilities: Ishida learned karate at a young age and kept training since then, so he is an expert martial artist. He is also a skilled swordsman with his sharp reflexes he developed. Being good at both swimming and climbing, Ishida proved himself to be a born survivor and his skills were developed further with the time he spends in Felarya. For example, his movements became more agile and almost acrobatic and he now able to jump from branch to branch.
He originally didn't possesed any magic ability, but during one adventure, he learned how to use telepathy from Agate's grandmother. This allows him to communicae with other mentally and even read his opponent's mind.
When somebody threatens or insults one of his friends greatly, he would enter into a "berserkser" state, which gives him a major boost in strenght. According to Agate, Ishida's stare is so scary in this state, which is similar to a demon's. Although the reason of this is currently unknown, Ishida is in complete control in this state, indicating that it fuels from his immense determination and the power of friendship.

Dislikes: anybody who hurt his friends, mushrooms, being eaten or shrunken, Kensha beasts

Extra: He also has a pet Noghdong, named Chibikame, as he is a fan of turtles. He is also fascinated by the flora and fauna of Felarya as he loves nature. He occasionally visits Safe Harbor in order to get news and information about the recent happenings, and of course some tools for surviving and new sets of clothes. Once he was offered to settle in Safe Harbor, but he rejected, because he chose to live with Agate.

Species: Half elf, half fairy
Age: 24 years
Hair: green, with red streaks, shoulder lenght
Eye: sapphire blue

Description: Agate appears as a tall, slim, beautiful young woman, slightly taller than an average human. She has pointed ears, making her looking like an actual elf, but she also has a pair of translucent dragonfly wings, as she is part fairy. She usually wears a simple, green backless dress. Her personality is inintially calm and serious, but also cold-hearted and somewhat sarcastic. She believes, that only the strongest would survive in Felarya, and fears that being bonded to someone would made her weak. So she despises friendship and does not trust strangers.Bu that's only her exterior. She is actually a kind, gentle and sensible person, altough she doesn't admit it. After the meeting of Ishida, she slowly opens up as she learns the values of teamwork and friendship.

History: Agate was born in a small elf village located in the vast Felaryan jungle. Her mother was flirted by a womanizer male fairy. and she was the result. After her birth, her mother was exiled from the village, leaving to fend by themselves in the dangerous Felaryan jungle. Her mother passed away, when she was 10, but thanks to her great survival capabilities she managed to grow up, living alone in the jungle, becoming the person that we know. When she met with Ishida, she only teamed up with him, because she knew that a single human cannot survive in Felarya alone. In fact, she realised that it is quite boring to live alone. Altough they became partners, but she still rejected the friendship offer gave by the boy. Then everything changed, when she was attacked by a giant insect and was powerless against it, Ishida came to the rescue and killed the insect. since then, they are the best friends, with Agate teaching the human boy how to survive in Felarya.

Skills: Agate is an expert user of light magic, which varies from creating a light sphere in order to illuminate a dark area to light blasts, even firing a concentrated beam of light or momentary blinding the enemy with illuminating her whole body, enabling her to escape.She also can use her magic to create shields from light and also posseses dispelling magic, which means that she can remove spells and curses from the victims. For example she can restore a size of people who fallen prey for the fairy size-shifting magic. Unfortunately, she herself cannot use that magic. She is very proud of her wings, which are her main source of magic and her main weakness. Like other fairies, if her wings are injured or broken, she will be unable to use her magic. Her wings allow her to fly naturally, she is also a skilled flyer, capabling to fly across the forest with high speed while manouvering between the trees. Despite her fragile physique and tendency to avoid close combat,she has the skill how to use her whip for attacking and self-defence.

Equipment: She has many tools for surviving in the jungle, including her whip.  She can use her whip for attack or tie up an enemy, repel projectiles and even grab items and another things with it.

Likes: sweets, fruits, flying

Dislikes: most dangerous creatures (especially giant insects and Kensha beasts), Ishida being called her boyfriend (altough she feels something romantic towards him), close combat, being weak

Extra: She dislikes most animals, as long as they are dangerous. However,she enabled Ishida to keep his "pet", because Noghdongs are relatively harmless. She currently lives with Ishida in her wooden treetop house in the Tolmeshal Forest. With her magic and Ishida's fighting skills, they make up a good team.
