Reynkes are pursuers of perfection. Every time they follow something, they always refine it into an art, never satisfy with what they have and strive to improve it even better. The following clans of reynkes are well-known in Felarya, and each of them has their own arts, ideology and belief to pursue:

-Clan of Crimson Moon:

"Death to the enemies! Death to the failures!"

The Clan of Crimson Moon is a renowned elite mercenary clan in Felarya. The clan consists of members who are pure-blooded, have at least three tails and talented in the art of killing, and undertakes missions such as assassination, monster hunter, escorts, bodyguards and rescue. Cold-blooded, calculated and prideful and having high success rate, they demand extremely high payment, only accept being paid if succeed, any rarely give the ones who fail a mission another chance. They boast that the mere presence of a member in a group is enough to raise the success of any kind of mission by at least ten percent.

All of members of Crimson Moon are excel in phasing magic, allowing them to enter another layer of dimension, enabling them to travel unseen, walk unheard, go through obstacles, strike through protection, and unharmed by normal means. These make them extremely good at assassination and scouting. They are infamous for their cruel phasing-based assassination techniques, like thrusting their weapons into the target's body and crushing vital organs directly. Among the legends shrouding the clan, it is said that in his youth age, the current clan leaders used to accept to assassinate a heavily-guard noble, and returned unscratched to the employer with the target's heart, still beating, the next day.

For other type of missions, they are ones of very few people who can face giant predators directly and still alive afterward to boast about. With their phasing magic, they can attack directly to predator's organs, which are often well-protected by its natural physical protection like shells or thick skin. They can also phase out to protect themselves in case of being attacked, caught or eaten. Also, in rescue mission, it's not unheard that they can still complete the mission even if the target is already swallowed by giant predators, since stomach wall, unless magic-resistant, is not enough to stop to pay a visit inside and get the victim out.

Their biggest enemy is anything that resists magic, making their phasing magic less effective or ineffective. They also have trouble with opponents that also use the same phasing magic, such as canopy fairies. And, despite of being well-trained, they are still reynkes with not much endurance, making them not very suitable to long-term missions that require a lot of stamina. Not mention how expensive their service is, which can only be afforded by wealthy people or nobles. Another less-known weakness is that their phasing magic is very energy-consuming and short in duration, and they have to calculate precisely the time for them to phase in and out, or they will get stuck, wounded or even dead, if they phase out in wrong place, like in the middle of the wall. Therefore, though boasting for being invincible in both offense and defense and having the capability to end a fight in matter of seconds, they often have disadvantages in a prolonged fight.

With unyielding belief that true power can only obtain by pure-blooded with born talents, Clan of Crimson Moon is extremely prejudge against half-breeds or any reynke born with less than three tails, treating said reynkes like something that should not exist, to the extent that if a member dares to mate and have half-bred or one- to two-tailed children, they will be executed. Forced marriage and breeding often occur, to ensure the continuation of pure-blooded line, and there are also rumors that they are willing to kidnap strong pure-blooded reynkes to refine their bloodline further. Even pure-blooded three-tailed reynkes are treated like servants and disposable pawns within the clan, until they prove their usefulness by surviving through enough missions, or grow a new tail, which can only achieved through intense training and is considered as a safe but cowardice way to rank up. Inside the clan is a merciless competition, and who survives in such an environment are best of best.  Anyone who betrays, violate the clan's law, or bring shame to the clan will be briefly disposed of.

Clan of Crimson Moon's banner comprises of a crimson waxing moon that shaped like a claw and embraces a closed eye with a drop of blood tear. Their uniform is black-crimson robes and veil mask printed the same pattern of their banner.

-Clan of Emerald Rose:

"Wisdom is what we seek for. Pleasure is what people yearn for. Why don't we have them both?"

The Clan of Emerald Rose is well-known as wandering, and lustful, doctors. Pursuing the ultimate perfection, these reynkes travel from places to places around Felarya, seeking to improve their already-abundant knowledge of medical arts, be it traditional, magical and even modern.

Depend on what they fancy of, each clan member can pursue one or many of medical arts at once, varied from herbalism, acupuncture, pharmacy, to modern surgery, or even the combination of magic and technology in healing. They ceaselessly strive to push their own limits further. Whenever they catch the wind of something that can broaden their knowledge, they will travel to acquire that piece of wisdom, regardless of distance, hardship, dangers, and - sometimes - means. Such passion and devotion makes them excellent doctors whose skills rival to none, and are many-time winner when fighting against Death to save lives of many seemingly-incurable situations. They are nicked as 'miracle-makers' by people they save.

Another distinguishing characteristic of the clan is their extremely open-mindedness to pretty much everything, including sensitive topics like sex, morality, genders, species, and venture into subjects that other reynkes are too prideful to step in, such as study on technologies. This makes them very adaptable and versatile in many situations, and they are ready to embrace what people deem to be nonsense or infeasible in order to be ready for anything, especially when it comes to healing and medical arts. Even so, this also makes people look at them strangely, since their train of thought is often go against common senses. For example, while most of people have prejudge against giant intelligent predators and see them with monster, these Emerald Rose reynkes sympathize with predators for just trying the best to be alive and thrive, while blame the prey side for being too naive to believe in the difference.

For their open-mindedness, members of Emerald Rose don't have the common prejudges on half-breed or other species like normal reynkes. Instead, some of them even interest in cross-breeding and devote their own mind and body for the creation of the ultimate half-breed. Love-making to them is just a way to enjoy pleasure, show affection on people they like and to acquire good genes to serve their research, so they can be pretty much shameless on the subject. With their medical knowledge, they can make their one-night partners feel heavenly pleasure, and know of necessary birth control, unless they wish for having children. Single mothers and fathers, are not unheard of among the clans of Emerald Rose, and all members have the responsibility to raise these children as a big family, and as precious research materials.

Their approach to sexual subject, however, makes common people, especially other reynkes, uncomfortable with them them, and some even call them 'succubus doctors' out of spite. On contradictory with the common belief that Emerald Rose members are willing to whore themselves at a drop of hat, they have their own set of ethical standards for this matter. First, a fun night in exchange of power, money, knowledge or purely pleasure is acceptable, as long as it has the consent by both parties. Second, they are allowed to use tricks to seduce their partners, and the stronger-willed their partners are, the more satisfying when such partners submit for a night. Third, forced their way, like raping or threatening, goes against their own belief of 'pleasurable wisdom', and is such violators will be punished for the incompetence of the sinners to charm their partners rather than the breach of morality.

Such a lifestyle also makes them surprisingly compatible with fairies, who often share the same likeness of open-minded, and it's not strange for them to have fairy friends - if they survive the encounter. Their favourite meeting place with other members is conveniently Kotriki Town, where they can meet up, share knowledge and have fun with local residents. Still, their easy-goingness does not apply on serious matters, and they are wise enough to not force their belief on other people, especially when it can spark into major conflicts with other reynke clans and major species.

The clan's banner is a brown fox standing sideway, looking up and has its mouse holding an emerald rose. There is no uniform, though all members bear an emblem with the shape of an emerald rose.

as for the articles, I already told you I like them. i think it should be a little more clear about the limitations of phase magic, but thats kinda not the place for a CLAN article but an article about the magic itself.

the ideas themselves are fine ^_^
