Spirit Glade
The Spirit Glade is less of a specific region in Felarya, and more of a general idea. Souls and spirits of various kinds are well known for inhabiting the land. Why these souls never go on to the after life will always be a complete mystery - but one thing for sure is the area in Felarya that keeps these souls anchored is just as much a part of the world as the magic soil that the Spirit Glade resides in.
This is because the Spirit Glade is underground. It comprises of a layer beneath the ground that one can reach when delving deep enough. It has a fairly wide depth range. Its starting depth is a mystery, as spirits, ghosts, and all kinds of weird ethereal artifacts get more and more common the further one goes down. Rumors abound of whole communities of spirits and ethereal beings that dwell underground, but their presence is more an educated guess than discovered fact. Areas of Felarya that have more spirits and ghosts than normal usually are there for this reason. They make the connecting bridge between the surface, and the true Felaryan underground. However despite being inhabited by ghosts and spirits, normal underground creatures such as Tonorions are still very comfortable in this layer, as creatures far more terrifying than Tonorions lurk below.
[edit: the part below is an add on]
However, that does little to explain why exactly souls sometimes get stuck and turned into ghosts. The popular theory is that the Spirit Glade itself is like an aura, or that the width of its area or zone is in itself the container of some equally ethereal property. Like the magic that exists in Felarya and its ley lines, there is some mysterious energy swirling within the Spirit Glade, and it makes it easier for souls to sometimes become "magnetized" and instead of drifting into the sea of the after life, may drift into the Spirit Glade. It usually happens with magically talented individuals, but can also happen with those who don't know magic at all. However, powerful mages still have a good chance of "moving on" and getting stuck as a ghost is still extremely rare.
