Cartoon Eric's Felarya Illustrations

Aside from the Dodge Darem comics I like to post from time to time I have found myself doing some illustrations related to Karbo and his characters? Why? I don't know. Maybe I just find them beautiful in a weird way. So here I'll post some of my own illustrations just for the fun of it and see what you folks think.

For starters here's a picture depicting, in my own way, my friend Scott's story called "Legacy of Kailer". This scene takes place in the last portion of chapter 10 in his story where his main character comes across Felarya's voluptuous Vivian. And what better time to catch her then under a water fall.

Ow, THIS, is men's bane.

That poor chump's going to be joining her for a bath, but I'll bet he isn't going to be bathing in water...

You can clearly see from Vivian's tail slipping behind him.

What if she's not hungry at that moment?

If I read her wiki entry correctly, this guy's best bet is to play nice, don't get captivated, and then haul ass.

Then again if her tail is slipping behind him and did not just happen to be resting there, yeah, she's hungry, and he's in lots of trouble.

Of course, he could have wandered from some spot to the right and not seen or recognized her tail at first.

Here's another nifty picture. This time it's a concept for a naga of my own. I call her Mina. She's a rather sweet but childish naga. The worst thing that can happen to you if you meet her is not the possibility that you'll get eaten. But instead, you might be her new pet "George". Then she will love you, and squeeze you to death, and pet you, and then name you George. Don't think for a second it's as bad as it sounds. Cause she will love you to death, and I mean SHE WILL LOVE YOU TO "DEATH". I feel sorry for Dodge if he doesn't stay aware of his surroundings any longer.

Anyway, here's her concept art.

She kinda reminds me of Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion, 'cept cuter. Personality-wise, she reminds me of the abominable snowman from those old Looney Tunes cartoons - y'know, the one who pets things so they can feel it.

That poor sod she's stalking is probably in for a horrible, but simultaneously cute and sexy, demise.

You can say the concept for Mina is a combination of the Asuka and the Abominable Snowman combined.

Her actions and the name she gives her pets reminds me of "Of Mice and Men" ("Tell me about the rabbits George.")

You'd be referring to Lenny, the strong-armed, mentally-challenged guy with a fondness for the soft and fluffy, right?

Mina's scale coloration's very similor to Flare's....only she's more orange, whereas Flare's is more red.

Yeah, "Lennie Small" (had to go look his name up on Wikipedia).

Great pictures! Very funny.

Glad to see everyone still has a touch of culture in them. You can see some of the inspirations towards Mina's character. Although I would like to state that she's not a mentally-challenged naga girl. Oh no, no. She does have quite a bit of intelligence. It's just she's got the child-like innocence that tends to cloud her judgment when she sees something that is cute and cuddly. Much like, well, a child when they see something cute and cuddly. After all, she is still female.

I love your artwork! Mina is a real cutie! I wonder how she would deal with a lost neko kitten?
