| At school today, we started talking about old shows that we liked when we were twelve and younger.
Some of the titles that came up were Sailor Moon, Invader Zim, Looney Toons, Captain Planet, Dragon Tales, Arthur, Rocko's Modern Life, Ahh! Real Monstors, Rugrats, Ka-BLAM!, DragonBall... etc...
So, in honor of these past shows, I made this thread so we can talk and remember the days before cartoons started to suck. (Albeit, these shows were rather weird too >>)
The first anime I ever watched was Sailor Moon. I remember it because it came on right after Thunder Cats (HOOO!), and the annoyingly catchy theme song 'Fighting evil by moonlight.... winning love by daylight...' I was about four at the time, and I wanted to be just like Serena/Usagi. I loved the transformation sequences and would dance around to them. I distinctly remember crying when all the Sailor Scouts died err... were taken away in the first or second season. Now I find the show unbearably cheesy and childish and I metally hit myself for ever being a fan, but that's me for ya.
Oh yeah, I was a fan of Power Rangers too. MORPHIN' POWEEER!

| It's hard to recall all the shows I watched growing up. I do remember when I was really young I liked to watch a show called lamb chop. (I used to like that show mostly because of the song that song drove my parents mad. ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNTxr2NJHa0&feature=channel_page I also remember watching power rangers a lot and Drangon ball Z but I stoped watching that around the time they got so strong that the planet exploded everytime they sneezed. those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. | |

| I liked Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when I was young, as well as the DC and Marvel superheroes, especially Superman. In about the fourth grade I got obsessed with Pokemon, but that died out, thank God. | |

| I also liked the Sonic cartoons from the 90s, especially Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. The Robotnik in that one is still the definitive Robotnik to me! "I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG!!!" is one of the most memorable quotes from my childhood! | |

| Some of these shows are ones I still enjoy watching today...Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon, Digimon, Dragon Ball, Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold, Rocket Power, Rugrats, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, Sheep in the City, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and that show with the general who was a brain in a bear...can't remember the name lol but one character was named General Scar. In recent Billy and Mandy episodes, General Scar has moved into Billy and Mandy's neighborhood! lol | |

| I loved just about everything from the 90's, from Sailor Moon and Sonic the Hedgehog to the Super Mario Brothers show and Beetlejuice.
I'd take any show from then compared to the sludge that spews from the Television now.
