The dridder weakly looked up at Adam, then up at Nok’tara. She began to speak, but was interrupted by a racking fit of coughing. She tried to get up, but her legs buckled again, sending her crashing to the ground again. She lay there, gasping. “Please…help me. Get…get him out…” The dridder moaned. She pulled herself along the ground towards Nok’tara.

“Faith, what be wrong with ‘er?” Trav asked, as Lenarei flew into the area. Trav rode upon her shoulder, holding tightly to the strap binding Lenarei’s pouch to her side.

Adam backed away from the dridder nervously "seem's she ate something that didn't agree with her typical arachnid" he says in response to trav's question he looked up at nok'tora then to the trapped rose and back to the dridder "if i help you do you promise not to eat me?"he asks cautiously. "you can have the neko is that ok"

“Yes, yes! I promise. I won’t eat you. Just get him out of me,” The dridder pleaded, looking at the small naga. “Even though…you’re a naga. Just hurry please.” She started coughing again, but the pain in her gut began receeding a little bit. A little bit of color came back to her face, not much but a little. However, despite these small improvements, she wanted that knight out of herself.

Adam crossed his arms "hmph i don't even know why i'm helping you your a dridder"he says bluntly as he starts punching the dridder's stomach as hard as he could for a few minutes he only stopped when he saw a bulge move up the dridder's throat "there that should do it" he says smiling as he slithers back a little from the dridder

(Um, this dridder is a full sized one, and I thought Adam was only human sized. He wouldn't be long enough to reach around the dridder's stomach.)

"'Well, just to stay on the safe side..." Nok'tara then snapped her fingers, and the bulge in her throat disappeared, and the knight appeared in a flash of flame in front of the group, and the succubus snapped her fingers again, surrounding the knight with flame. "Sorry, knight, but I don't condone murder of living beings." Nok'tara simply stated.

“If I did nothing, the neko would have died.,” The knight said, undisturbed by the flames. “Her death would have been on my hands because of my inactivity. It was not my decision to murder, I only chose who would die. As it is, I’m glad that you and the naga intervened.” The knight turned to the dridder. She was still pale and weak, but her condition was slowly improving. She still lay upon the ground, but she propped herself up on an elbow.

“My apologies miss,” The knight said, bowing to the dridder. He stepped forward, passing through the flames without showing any reaction. He retrieved his flail and shield.

Meanwhile, the ill dridder manages to get to an upright position. She glances at the neko now in her web again, and picks her up. “Did I hear you right? You don’t care if I eat you? After all that screaming to get loose before?” The dridder asked confused.

"That's Rose, for you. She's absolutely strange, sometimes." Nok'tara said, snapping her fingers to eliminate the flames. "Anyway.." she said, now kneeling to look at the knight better, "you have a very powerful aura, knight. May I ask what your name is?"

Fenja and Grip had finally arrived. Fenja gently plucked Rose off the web.

"Don't listen to her." she told the dridder. "She's in one of her...moods. She randomly seems to go out and try to make herself tasty and get eaten. Probably dropped too much when she was a kid."

She held on to Rose to prevent her from leaving and jumping down a naga's throat.

(Then again, I don’t think this knight character meshes well with the others so far. This RP is too lighthearted for a serious character such as him.)

“…Nordian,” The armored knight said, walking off into the trees. “Call me Nordian. Farewell.” The echo of the metallic tromp of his boots slowly faded into the distance.

“What a weird man,” The dridder commented. She shrugged, then coughed again. “Ugh, and good riddance too. And as for you,” She stooped down to pick up Adam by his tail, dangling him in front of her face. She turned him around in her fingers, looking at him from all angles. “I suppose you enjoyed getting to beat up a sick dridder, didn’t you. By all rights I should eat you for that, but I don’t think I can stomach much at the moment. Besides, I smell that Liena has been handling you, she’d be upset if I ate you after she released you. Here, you take him.” The dridder said, shoving Adam into Nok’taras hands.

She turned and scuttled back into her lair for a moment, and the sound of rummaging could be heard. She returned a moment with several silk wrapped bundles. The tips of naked toes and the occasional pointed ear stuck out of the silk. She held all these bundles in the crook of one arm, except for one which she held in her other hand. This separate bundle was only bound in silk up to the shoulders of an elf, leaving her arms and hands free. She had long blond hair and fair skin, and a silver circlet rested on her head. She was very still, but it was only a deep sleep, as her chest continued to rise and fall with her breathing. Her face looked peaceful.

“I’m Myrah, by the way. It’s been a while since I’ve seen Liena, I think I’ll visit her,” The dridder said, walking in the direction of Liena’s nest. “Harpies and succubae we don’t mind to much, so long as you don’t bother anyone. Just keep your pets out of sight though, particularly your tiny naga.”

Adam had shaken a little as the dridder picked him up when he was in nok'toa's hand though he curled up "actuslly yeah i did enjoy beating you up"he says after the dridder and smiles.
(wait rose is in the dridder's hand not in fenja's)
Rose swallowed nervously she looked up at the dridder holding her "c..c..can you p....put m..m..me down now please"she asks trembling nervously as she looks at Myrah's face

(Well, I'm assuming that Tuc135 just decided to go along with what Jætte_Troll posted. But anyway...)

"Can do." Nok'tara said, taking Adam from Myrah. "Hmmm...so, should we head back to Liena's place, Lenarei?" she asked

Liena, in the meantime, was tidying up the place a bit while Narin watched. "A very nice place you have here." Narin said. "Thanks!" Liena responded.

(Sorry, I had assumed that Jaette Troll had taken Rose from Myrah, I’ll go with Rose’s post)

Myrah paused and glanced down at the neko in her hand. “What is with you, first you say you don’t mind being eaten, then you’re begging me to put you down,” Myrah said. She looked up quizzically at the other predators gathered here. “So, can I eat-” She began, but Fenja interrupted her by plucking Rose away from her and holding onto the neko.

“Sorry, she’s not for eating,” Lenarei said, putting Trav into her pouch. “Hey, you still got Quarus?” She asked.

“Aye, she be safe,” Trav replied, holding onto the neera.

“…That’s weird. But then again, I’ve always wondered what it would be like to keep one or two of those little people as a pet,” Myrah said, shrugging. “Oh, well.” She continued on her way to Liena’s web.

“Well, I suppose Nok’tara. I guess we should get back to Narin now that Rose is safe,” Lenarei said. She jumped into the air and began lazily gliding back to Narin and Liena. She still occasionally glanced back at Nok’tara, but not as frequently.

“Oh Liiiieeeeena! I’ve got something for yooooou,” Myrah said as she scuttled into Liena’s lair. “I heard that you decided to start a family. Since I haven’t seen you out much, I decided to bring you a meal.” She said, handing the cocooned elves to Liena, though she kept the half cocooned one to herself.

“It comes with some bad news though. These elves got Deimmie before I got there, she and her egg sack.”

"Okey doke, then." Nok'tara stated, flexing her wings a bit before walking towards Liena's nest, still holding onto Adam.

Quarus, in the meantime, was twiddling her thumbs in Trav's grip, wondering when she'd be able to get back into Adam's arms.

"Oh, no, that's terrible!" Liena gasped. "That would explain why that neko came running into my nest. You see, she had found an egg from an elf camp, and was looking for someone to take care of it. It's in my egg sac now." she said briefly looking at the sac. "Anyway, thank you very much, Mynah!" She then took the cocooned elves and stuck them to her web for later use. "By the way, this is Narin. She's with the neko I was talking about."

At this point, Narin stood up, and said, "Pleasure to meet you!" She then glanced at the half cocooned elf Mynah held, and asked, "Forgive me if it's none of my business, but whatcha gonna do with that elf?"

“Narin? Good to meet you too,” Myrah said. “I’m glad I didn’t eat that Neko now, that was kind of her. Its unusual to see that sort of act from one of the prey.”

“Deimmie was a good dridder. I’m gonna miss her…But at least she went down fighting. She had killed many of the elves before she died. She was barely alive when I arrived. There wasn’t anything I could do for her, she was bleeding something fierce. And the elves had already left. But she was alert enough to tell me that one of the elves, this one here, tried to defend her, or at least her egg sac. She said they wanted to punish that elf for that, and asked me to intervene. I saw some tracks and followed them, and I found this elf running away from the other elves. Well, once I arrived, the pursuing elves scattered, but not before I had my fill of them, and caught a few more for later. However, for the sake of Deimmie, I kept this one safe.”

“Anyway, she’s been with me since last night. She was so shot full of adrenaline, that she couldn’t sleep any. After midnight, I gave her a small dose of my sleeping venom to help her relax. It should be wearing off soon. Until then, I keep her cozy in this web,” Myrah said, stroking the slumbering elf with one hand.

As Myrah stroked her, the elf stirred. At length, her eyes fluttered open. “Is…is it morning yet?” She mumbled sleepily. She brought a hand up to her mouth as she yawned.

"Indeed. The territory's not going to be the same without her." Liena replied. Noticing the elf was waking up, she looked to Myrah, saying, "Looks like your friend's awake."

“Oh, good morning elf. Or rather, good afternoon,” Myrah said, bringing the half cocooned elf up to her eye. The elf stirred, and looked sleepily around, scratching her head with one hand.

“You know, I half expected to wake up inside a stomach, if I woke up at all,” The elf said, “Thanks for sparing my life.”

“One good turn and all that, you know,” Myrah said. “Anyway, this is my friend Liena, and an acquaintance Narin.”

“A pleasure to meet you. I’m Elizabeth,” The elf said. She tried to curtsey as well as she could with her body and legs wrapped up in silk.

As they talked, Lenarei landed behind them with a thump. “Well, we managed to keep that suicidal neko from getting herself eaten again. Fenja has her now. I swear, if she pulls this kind of stunt again, I’ll eat her myself and save us the trouble of chasing after her anymore.” Lenarei grumbled as she walked up to Narin. “So, more new friends Narin? Ohh, is that an elf? I’ve heard they’re really delicious, but I’ve never tasted one before.”

"A pleasure to meet you too, Elizabeth." said Liena, doing a curtsy with her eight legs. "Nice to meet you, too! You seem pretty nice." Narin said. The harpy then looked past them, saying, "Oh, look! My friends are back!"

"You know, I seriously doubt that'll solve the problem. Knowing Rose, she'll find a way out of your stomach and just run off again." said Nok'tara, chuckling for a bit, before looking at Myrah, smiling as she said, "Ah, hello again, Myrah. Small world we live in, eh?"

"Ah, so you already met Myrah, then? Well, the cocooned elf she's holding is Elizabeth, and she seems pretty nice! I don't think Myrah'll let you taste her though." Narin said.

Liena thought for a minute, then took one of the cocooned elves that Myrah gave her off the wall, offering it to Lenarei, saying, "You can try this one, if you'd like."

“Tempting, but I’d better not. Trav would get annoyed. Thanks anyhow.” Lenarei said. “Well, Elizabeth, I was just wondering, how did you manage to tick off your fellow elves so badly?” Lenarei asked, bending down to take a closer look at the half cocooned elf.

“Well, I tried to hide the dridder’s eggs,” Elizabeth replied, shrugging.

“A good try, but I saw the egg sac, it was all slashed up,” Myrah said. “Thanks for trying though.

“The egg sac? But not all the eggs were in there!” Elizabeth said. “The sac was too heavy for me to carry off, so I hid a bunch of the eggs around the area. Unfortunately, they found me before I could finish, and I was forced to leave the sac and run.”

“Why didn’t you tell me about this?” Myrah demanded.

“I tried! You said that all the eggs were destroyed!” Elizabeth countered.

“But I didn’t know the sac was half empty! That means…” Myrah began.

“That means we’ve got ourselves a bunch of eggs to find!” Lenarei exclaimed. “Quickly! Let’s go back to the site of the battle!”

Narin's eyes widened as Elizabeth revealed that there were more eggs than just that one. "Really?! Well, we better get going then before someone else finds them!" She flew off towards the place where the elf camp was. Nok'tara flexed her wings before looking at Adam, saying, "Well, looks like we got another quest ahead of us. Hold on!" She then jumped into the air soared into the air, following Narin as she flew.

Liena looked at her egg sac, then quickly used her legs to make a hole, then put her egg sac in the hole, covering it up with the dirt so that it looked like it had before she dug, then ran off with the others.

"See anything?" asked Fenja. She was scanning the ground, moving carefully and looking for more of the eggs.

Inside the Sphere, Grip had moved some lenses into place, magnifying the ground in front of him.

"Wait! Don't move! There, to your right, in the bush. Yep, that's one."

Fenja lowered Rose down, letting the neko reach for the egg.

Rose squinted her eye's smiling she saw the egg and bent down to pick it up once she did she placed it on fenja's hand before jumping off herself and stand on the ground looking at fenja "don't hold me i don't want you too"she says angrilly to fenja

"Whatever you want." said Fenja, holding her hands up defensively. "But how am I gonna know you're not going to go get yourself swallowed again?"

Trav carefully tread through the bushes, his eyes on the ground ahead of him, scanning carefully for the spider eggs. Parting the leaves ahead of himself, he saw them, nestled within a hollow of a tree. Two delicate dridder eggs. He carefully picked them up and held onto them, one in each arm, and turned around to head back to the others.

“Myrah! There be two more ‘ere!” Trav called out, walking back to the dridder. Myrah stooped, and held out her hand low to the ground. Trav gently placed the two eggs in her palm.

“Thanks Trav,” Myrah said, handing the eggs to Elizabeth, who sat on her shoulder. She gingerly put the two eggs into an egg sac Myrah had quickly spun before the search started. She held onto the sac tightly, keeping it safe as Myrah continued looking around for the eggs. Frequently, Elizabeth pointed out spots that she remembered hiding the eggs.

Above them, a shadow briefly passed over head as Lenarei flew low to the ground. Lacking the dexterity to pick up the eggs, she instead flew over the region, using her keen eyes to pick them out of their hiding spots. “Hey! I see another one! It’s in the roots of that large tree surrounded by the blue and white flowers!” She called out, flapping rapidly to hover near the position. “And there’s a second in the third tree behind it, the one with all the mistletoe growing off of it’ side!”

"Ten four, Lenarei!" Nok'tara said, grabbing the eggs that Lenarei found, having shrunk herself down to human size for convenience, and flew back to Mynah, giving her the eggs as she said, "Here ya go!"

Narin was helping out as well, helping out Nok'tara by scanning the ground for more eggs.

Even Quarus helped by rolling one of the eggs she found over to Trav.
