Rose shrugged she walked away from fenja smiling as she searched for the eggs "found one"she says picking an egg up she holds it out infront of her but then another pair of hand's grabbed the egg the hand's were human sized the person gave a tug at the egg and pryed it from rose's grip "hey give that back"she yells now looking at the person seeing it was not a person but yet another dridder who held it this dridder was human sized and in his late teen's behind him there was two other dridder's both the same size "what do you want?"

“Aye, thank yeh Quarus,” Trav said, picking up the egg that Quarus found and giving it to Myrah as well. “ow many be that?”

“With the two Lenarei spotted, we’ve got twelve so far. Still a lot to go, I think,” Myrah said, glancing into the egg sac. She stooped to pick up another egg that Elizabeth spotted. “Thirteen now.”

“Aye, don’ worry, I’ll find them fer yeh,” Trav said, running back into the undergrowth. He began exploring it again, keeping an eye out for the dridder eggs, his eyes darting to likely hiding places. It wasn’t long before the voices of the others fell behind him.

High above, a naga stirred on a large branch, the rustling noise of the search gradually awakening her. Sleepily, she yawned and looked down, wondering what the ruckuss was. Her face brightened as she saw Trav wandering below, poking through the shrubs. She licked her lips as she stealthily began descending down the tree towards him.

Meanwhile, Liena finally caught up with the others. "Hey, guys, sorry it took so long for me to get here, but I had to make sure that my eggs were sa..." She then noticed the human sized dridders, and said to them, "Oh, hello. Can I help you with something?"

Nok'tara in the meantime, was still looking for eggs, when she spotted the naga out of the corner of her eye going for Trav. In a swift movement, she quickly flew towards Trav, grabbing a hold of him before the naga could grab him. She then changed back into her predator size, holding Trav in the palm of her hand, saying, "Sorry, naga. This human's off limits.."

“Wha? Go find your own food! I saw him first!” The naga said angily, glaring down at Nok’tara from her perch up in the tree. She leaped off of the branch she was on towards Nok’tara, snatching Trav as she landed. Once she touched ground, she began slithering off as quickly as she could, clutching Trav to her chest.

Pinned as he was in the naga’s tight grip, Trav wresteled to get his arms free. Eventually, he managed to pull one arm free, holding his recorder. He put the instrument to his lips and played a piercing, steady note.

“Huh?” Lenarei asked, looking up from her search as the piercing note reached her ears. “Aw, @#$%, Trav’s in trouble!”

"Hey! Get back here!!" Nok'tara yelled as she flew towards the naga, landing a punch on the naga's face.

Narin then swooped towards the naga, and grabbed a hold of her hair with her talons, and began to fly upwards, pulling at the naga's hair while Nok'tara attempted to grab Trav from the naga while yelling, "Give him back! He's not your meal, naga!"

“Agh! Let go!” The naga shouted as the harpy began pulling at her hair and dragging her off the ground. “Now it’s personal!” She shouted. Sticking Trav in her mouth to free up her hands, she grabbed onto the harpy’s legs and whipped her long tail up and over Narin’s back. The naga wrapped her tail around the harpy’s body, trying to weigh her down to the ground. With the harpy contained, the naga reached out and ripped a huge branch off of a tree to use as a club, should Nok’tara try to punch her again.

Trav, meanwhile, was breathing hard, his heart racing as he was shoved into the naga's mouth. Lying on her tongue, he rapidly began rummaging through his pouches, looking for a specific vial of liquid.

"Okay, stopstopstopstopstop, this is getting ridiculous!" Nok'tara said, now coming to her senses, no longer punch happy. "Okay, I apologize for hitting you, that was rash of me. Now look, just let Narin go, and spit Trav out, and let's talk about this in a mature manner, okay?"

The naga wated a moment, giving Nok’tara a confused look. She didn’t let Narin go yet, but she stopped constricting and loosened her coils a little bit. “Trab? Who’s Trab?” She said with Trav still in her mouth. She paused a moment, transferred her club to her off hand, then spat Trav out onto her hand. “This, this isn’t just about a meal for you, is it? What predator would bother learning the names of who they ate?” The naga said after a moment, holding Trav tight in her grip. “Just who is this human to you, if not food?”

Nok'tara looked at the naga straight in the eye, and replied, "A friend." She then pointed towards the constricted Narin, saying, "And her friend." She then pointed towards Lenarei. "And her friend." Then at Liena. "And her friend." Then Rose and Adam. "And their friend." Then Grip and Fenja. "And their friend." Then Quarus. "And her friend." Then finally, Myrah and Elizabeth. "And their acquaintance. And as I'm sure you know, friends don't let friends get eaten."

“Woah…That’s…a lot of friends…” The naga uttered, looking at all the people Nok’tara pointed out. She thought for a moment, then shrugged. “Well, I need to eat you know, but I can be reasonable. If you bring me something else to eat instead of this human here, I’ll let him go. How about that?” She slithered back a little ways, getting off of Narin.

“Maybe one of those other small fry, or a deer or something,” The naga said, “I’m not picky.”

(Just a heads up. I'm going to be gone over the weekend. I won't be back until monday.)

"Actually, I have some elves right here." Liena said, offering the cocooned elves that Myrah gave her as she had taken them along. "You're more than welcome to have them, if you want."

"put this egg away"the dridder says to a blonde female dridder before turning back to rose "you'll do as a snack for the road"he say pinning rose's arms to the side with a couple of strands of silk rose screamed and attempted to kick the dridder but the dridder soon bound her legs with silk and placed rose on his back.
The male dridder looked up to liena and saluted "nothing lady we'll just be going about on our way with the neko"

"Well, actually, she's a friend of mine. You see, earlier, that neko found an egg that had survived from an elf attack in which most of the eggs were destroyed. She brought that egg to me, and we were looking for the remainder of them until you and that naga over there showed up. Please, let her go, and take an elf instead." Liena said, offering one of the cocooned elves to the dridder.

the dridder looked at the elf and inspected her then he shook head "no sorry lady the elf is dead the neko is alive now i'd apreciate it if you let us go we have some starving youngster's that could easily sustain themselves off her"he says bluntly gesturing for the other two dridders to move ahead rose struggled she moved around a lot but the dridder used silk to strap her to his back.
"now if you don't mind i'll be taking her and leaving"the dridder says before he begin's to walk off in the direction the other two had walked off in.
"SOMEONE HELP ME!"rose yells before the dridder stuffed a silk ball in her mouth
"good day to you"the dridder says as he walks past liena still carrying rose upon his back he went to follow the other dridders.

"Wait!" Nok'tara yelled, teleporting in front of them. "Listen, can't we work something out? She is our friend."

The dridder stopped suddenly as nok'tora apeared infront of him he moved around her "well maybe why don't you just see who we have to feed" the dridder says walking in the direction he was going in

"I will, but only if you let Rose go. If you do, I promise that I'll find food for the offspring. If I fail to do so, they I will let them feast on my flesh." Nok'tara said.

the dridder rubbed his chin thoughtfully for a brief moment thinking long and hard about what nok'tora had to say he continued walking towards a clearing laughter and the sound of children playing can be heard from the clearing "i'll think about it"he says walking into the clearing were a dozen or so little dridder children are playing.

Nok'tara looked to see the little dridder children playing with each other. "Aaaaw, they're so cute!!" She then turned back to the dridder leader, saying, "Alright, don't feed Rose to them yet. Let me look for some food for them to feast on. Like I said, if I fail, I shall come back and let them eat me. Please. She's my friend."

The dridder nodded laying rose on the ground pinning her to the ground and binding her in a silk cocoon before looking at nok'tora "alright i won't feed them yet and there not gonna eat there just gonna drink her insides that way they can last a lot long time"he paused briefly "but if you can't find them any and make sure there virgins like her"he say patting rose's cocoon if her face was visable she would have been blushing bright red."if you can't ind them any food they will eat you and your neko friend understood!"

Nok'tara nodded, then closed her eyes and put her fingers to her forehead, as if concentrating. She then opened her eyes, and turned to the dridder leader, asking, "If these virgins were serial killers, assassins, and murderers, would you take them?"

The dridder looked almostinsulted as he rose to his full height in an attempt to look imposing "good god no woman i would have no such monsters anywere near this lot restrained or otherwise" he says a little angrilly.

Fenja and Grip were walking through the forest, having a hard time keeping up with Nok'tara.

"Geez." muttered Fenja. "That is one annoying neko. She might as well be running around dipped in chocolate, the way she gets caught so much."

"Yeah." said Grip. "But we have to help if we can."

"Yep" said Fenja, before moving on.
