If the other forum ever becomes more active than here maybe I'll consider switching.
Did someone say Spam?

Unfortunatelly, it's closed and it was a bit of a failure. :/ Maybe tonight I'll post the story I made on DA...
And saying that the forum has spam is being TOO nice... I've seen spam in other forums and ladies and gentlemen, what's going on over the other forum has no words for defining it.

I don't know...that spam song came pretty close for words to describe it! I unfortunately discovered the contest the day before the end of its due date...and I was a bit busy at the time anyways to write >.>.

This is no longer spam at this rate.. it's an attempt to just destroy the place >> we'll see what can be done about that...

now you're just being pessimistic, there are those who TRY to use it. if the "spam" stops it will be MUCH more enjoyable.

maybe I should have finished reading this thread before I signed onto the other site. *epic fail on my part* since I'm relatively new I guess I don't have much sway but these forums here are more pleasing to view.
Since I stopped searching the other forums after the obvious hostile spam I can't really say much for any other functions it may have. (Hostile Spam, great Idea for a monster just popped into my head, gotta remember that)

Hostile Spam as a monster. That's a good one. We need some other species of Spam as well, to round things out. I wonder what is the maximum velocity of Hostile Spam is?

Isn't there a way to prevent people from posting without being registered, and to prevent people from registering without being authorised?

Can't we just put that site down? I mean, no-one really uses it, I can't blame them with all the spam. And as loads of people seem to think, this one is perfectly OK.

The posters are not people but bots, programs which are just executing the same task in a infinite way.
