| I sort of had this idea where those that a=follow the predator trinity religion have these eulogies they say for their prey as a polite gesture.
"May the souls that gave their lives for my nutrition rest in peace." or something like that.
In addition to being a gesture of politeness, this also serves a practical application. Those who are given eulogies are less likely to come cack as angry ghosts.

| prayer? hmm...maybe there can be some kind of action that goes with it too. i bet there's a cult where if someone dies its an honor to have them eaten by a naga or anything large enough to do so. that's be interesting, since there are religions that worship predators. | |

| Thing is though, I'm not sure how many predators actually see their prey as "people". Crisis doesn't, for one, though I can't speak for the others. This would make more sense to me if, rather than focusing on a trinity of goddesses, some predators followed a more animist religion-one where essentially anything can have a spirit. | |

| "Breakfast was good prey. He managed to evade me for a few minutes, and almost tricked me. He was a smart human, and will be remembered for his wits and the fun he gave me- until Lunch arrives.
Here's to you, Breakfast."

| Hmm. I'm not sure this is something everyone following the Predator Trinity would do - however it would be interesting to see a very religious or superstitious character and their take on this. | |

| I disagree with this idea. Most preds don't see the little humans and nekos as people. Just talking food.
Besides, the predator trinity is all about hunting, eating, and digestion. It teaches that patience leads to reward, eating brings pleasure, and digestion gives life. Nothing in that tells me that this religion respects their prey enough to pray over them.
This is a good idea however, and one I had for an angel character of mine. I'd recommended coming up with an original religion that would practice this.

| Its not that ridiculous an idea when you consider how many peoples and cultures give similar things to the animals they kill and eat, despite not considering them human.
Also when you consider that getting an angry ghost coming after you isn't an entirely irrational fear in Felarya, it might pay to give respect to your prey.

Also when you consider that getting an angry ghost coming after you isn't an entirely irrational fear in Felarya, it might pay to give respect to your prey. This is what I was thinking. A predator could still give thanks for a meal without actually considering it to be people. Like a hunter thanking the spirit of the deer he is about to eat - he doesn't necessarily think of the deer as a person, he's just trying to be respectful - else he probably wouldn't be eating the deer. However, I doubt the majority of predators would be taking the time to ponder this. But a more animistic religion, apart from the Predator Trinity, that practices this would be something interesting to see.
