I figured we'd just go by the honor system. I'm not gonna be too concerned about it, dice rolls aren't something to get picky over. Anyway, was this going to start soon?

Honor system sounds like a good idea to use in place of dice rolls.

The honor system is the way of running various things based on the foundation of trust. Or something like that. Example here would be to not lie about your dice rolls.

I could get all philosophical, but no need.

In this case, it just means that you roll your own dice at home, and we'll trust that the rolls you post here are accurate.

well hey, if you crit i dont think people are gonna complain XDDD

yes, no one will know for sure unless you get nothing but high rolls, so if you decide to be a fraud about it, at least play evenly.

Sounds like someone doesn't have much trust for others around here, or actually think that most of us are immature enough to actually cheat, regardless... im going to pull out of this one, seeing as ive been waiting all this time for a reply and its starting sometime soon...

With my experiances in life, I don't have much trust of ANYONE. Nothing personal.

Yeah true. I've tried setting up a few systems like this. No system is truely perfect though.

Jezus Squeezus, sorry for the disappearing act, there was alot of things I had to take care of and I sorta lost track of time.

In anycase, I think I'll go on ahead and start this. Since I don't really have any dice of my own I'll use the Online Dice Roller, which has dice ranging from d2 to about d100 (which is outrageous...how do you even play with numbers that high, I wonder). Since I have only the smallest experience with d10, I'll use those. It'd be best if we all use the same ones, being it makes things easier for us when we're determining on if our actions actually get carried out or not.

In battle, I think we all know that the higher the number you roll the higher the damage you can dish out (note the damage range of the skills you have). For regular attacks, the damage range is equal to that of; Your Level*the dice roll.

So it will be like this...

ex: Lv.10*(1d10 - 2) = 20% damage.

Criticals are determined on how many high rolls you get, if you roll a 10 one turn, and do it once more on your 2nd, then the your attack on that same turn will be a Critcal. After the hit lands and your turn is over, then it resets. Criticals have damage that does at least 10x the normal amount of damage (double this if the opponent is weak to the elemental the attack may have attached to it).

Sound good? I realize the normal attack damage range will get pretty broken once you level high enough, but I honestly couldn't think of anything else. If anyone has a better method, lemme know. Otherwise, we're going with this setup.

In anycase, I'll bring up the thread if everyone's in agreement to what we have here, once that's done, we can get things rolling (finally). Any questions, comments and concerns can be posted in here and we'll work some stuff out. I'll aslo be sure to mark everyone's location so no one gets lost or forgets where they are after an abscence or whatever.

This seems like a really interesting RP, I just might join this one. One question, is there can we mix classes in this? Ex: Have a Mage with a little fighter
