Reactivation
Time had ruined Him.
Time had aged Him.
Time had trapped Him within his slumber.
Time had aged them all, in the entire Floating City.
Rust covered half of the creatures visible body, Vines had creeped alone the other half of his body, flowers sprouting along the vines. This made the creature look like a strange mix of both Metal and plant, but underneath the Plants, underneath the metal the creatures centre, lays a stone, a green stone connected to the outer body. It was connected by wires That latched into the very crystal itself, it had seemingly lost all of its glow and was now a Dark green colour.
The Creatures face was etched in a look of surprise inside its head was a complex maze of gears and wires and other systems. It's body bore signs of dents and battle scars, barely visible beneath the roots and vines.
The crystal began to glow, for the first time in century's the creatures huge metal fingers began to move ever so slowly. The creatures eyes lit up a bright red colour, it's head turned from side to side and with a sound of an metal closing slowly the creature took a step forward.
Its head turned slowly from side to side, getting used to moving as it Examined the ruins of the floating City. The whole place was in ruins, sighns of battle scars lined the inner walls and the outside showed sighns of erosion. The whole city was rusted doors lay ripped from there hinges and the metal creatures own body showed signs of battle scars as though a creature of some kind had slashed across his chest piercing the armour.
The city was made entirely of metal, exept the ground beneath it, that was the only organic part of the city, that and the trees and the grass. No one knows why the island remains floating in the air. Or where it is even, it just seems to blink in and out of existance.
The metal man looked out across the skyline, it apeared to blink as a pair of robins flew around the Man's head. It raised its hand, tilting its head slowly, watching as the robins landed casually upon one of the creatures fingers.
With a soft cheerfull chirp, the birds set off again circling the metal creature before flying off back to there nest on one of the floating Citys many trees.
The creature stood tall unwavering, awakened from its years of slumber, awakened to watch over the floating ciy and its residents, protecting them from all who would seek to harm them. The other Metal stood there remaining still in there slumber waiting for the day they would be awakened.
On Dark nights, when the moons are full, the residents of Felarya claim to have seen a floating City, with its metal protector floating above the Ascarlin mountains.
