When did people stop finding the humor in sex?

I swear, some of the best jokes are sexual: even sex itself is hilarious! Now I'm not in favor of the returning to the promiscuous 60's and 70's; but, can't we at least see the humor in it? Why the extremes of "Sex, woohoo!" and "Sex is a serious matter, there's nothing funny about it!"

For example, I think breasts can be too big: at some point, a man isn't all "Awesome titties...can I play with them?", more like "Would she work as a flotation device in the event of a plane crash?"

I may be a virgin, but I think the only way to truly appreciate sex is to have a sense of humor about it; because, in the end, it is love not lust that makes a relationship work.

A lot of things have gotten way too serious, not just this. I'm not going to even attempt listing examples, but I agree with you 100%.

Back in the day, you could compliment peoples appearance "Man you look Gorgeous!"

And people would take the compliment.

I know at least one forum that is FILLED with Sex jokes, porn jokes, etc.

Though in the offline world, I'd say it likely happened shortly after everyone took insult to everything.

And Siafu, I'd likely take the "Flotation Device" joke as implying her to be 'fat' instead of in possession of large hooters, assuming I didn't see the woman in question.

It seems that almost any part of our normal conversation (especially humor) is found to be offensive these days. I don't think this is because people are more sensitive. Rather, it all has to do with two little words that have nearly ruined our freedom of speech, "political correctness."
