Looking for some RP

Mind if I join? i'd like to have a good rp to remember and be a part of. i dont do this much : P. and yeah totally agree with codaman. as long as u can make a character fair or so badass that he can kick most of anyone's ass but can die then you should be fine not pissing anyone off unless they themselves just like to piss off people (which should be noticeable and ignored if possible)

We're six now, Midir, Vixens, Venom, Codda, Falcon, Stabs. We can be five and a GM, and I can do GMing... at least, I'd love to try my hand at it. Again. See if I can avoid screwing this time, in Felarya.

However we'd need to agree on a few things first. What kind of game do you want? What kind of characters would you be playing? In what place? Doing what? To who? What kind of powers would we be talking about?

Basically, there are four kinds of characters in Felarya: adventurers/explorers/mercenaries, lost people, natives, and predators. Then we need to agree on a place, and what your characters were doing there. After you're done with that, I'll start setting up obstacles to challenge your wits and your characters' abilities.

Please think about it.

codaman, can you give an example of a usual battle or some sort of a fight? Maybe a direct link or just to describe - how it looks like, how many people start the battle, what happens at the end, and so on... What's the chance for a character to survive?

As a general rule, avoid fighting.
In my experience, trying to fight in a freeform RP won't lead you anywhere.

Can you give me an example of the Goals which the Characters have here, on this forum? Also how much the RP is usually connected with vore? Not the actual devouring but mayeb some allusions, you know...

No. I've never RPed here so far. However, you have all the RPs here in the forum to read if you want.

But, Venom, aren't you in the process of making an RP that's just fighting? Why not save the toe-to-toe stuff for that?

suggestion, start with just an average char only RP and work from there? thats how we have always done it before, choose a place, chars, time.. ect... then just turn it loose...?

i can partially answer that...

most of the rps i have involved myself in, can have some vore in it, mostly ending in the little guy (depending on if its an actual char or just a side one) survives the trip and gets out after a few minutes depending on the preds stomach control... unless ofcourse it was an actual attempt to eat the person, which normally ends with the whole ordeal being avoided somehow...

for the little people, the main "goal" varies alot... just depends what they are doing, if they are hunting for something, there you go... but alot of times the little people don't need a specific goal, and more then likely just get dragged into someone elses quest of the day... lol

Is it happens someitmes that people die in a more mundane way? Got drowned or killed by a strange poison or something

Also i'd like to have a more or less "real" type of a character... GM always try to help his players to avoid some really stupid death, but if i know that it's really DANGEROUS to enter this Den - i'd never actually enter it without any serious reason. So if i know that the fight can kill me than i believe i shouldn't participate, just because it's cool. Oh, of course maybe i'd like to get eaten and i can participate then. But this should be the only reason for such an action, i think. Am i right?

well, i have yet to see an RP death that happened with a real character, and someone else eating them... my chars have gotten close a few times, nothing extreme... but idk if we even need a GM, technically just have someone running the events like a on the sidelines, like random creature pop up and that crap... i can do that... but i think in an actual RP around here, you have more risk randomly appearing at the endless pit thing from 300 then dieing without the character just.... Ack! Fuck this! kill meh!... you know? lol...

but yea, if we have some pred chars, because I... SUCK at predator roleplaying, nor do i like it too much, more of a prey type... but i can get ahold of a familiar makeup faced clown and see if he would like to participate... hes got a good selection of pred chars and i PRP with him off and on... so yea ill work on that for ya... first thing i would say right now is just get the place and plot down right now....

well like i said, if you guys figure this shit out, hit me up. meanwhile i'll try to create a more test suitable character for this RP run. to kinda get the ropes.

About the place and the plot.
First of all - does anyone here have his own ideas or proposals?

My own proposal:
I'm not completely sure about the direct setting and direct type of my character, but i can give a general description.

It's a preyish creature, i think a human one. It can be predish to the creatures which are natural preys for humans... like fish, oysters, fairies.

He's a foreigner in this World and he doesn't know it at all Ge can be a some sort of a foreign astronaut or just an oversea trader

The plot. Truly i didn't studied the stories here that attentively, but i think, if this person a trader he may try to find a interesting objects or some interesting creatures to trade with them. If he's not a trader - well, there're some other sights of interests in this world. Like a military base on the East. He may start his journey from a pretty decent safe town, so he would be able to find a party - maybe just some fellow travelers. Or he can actually start just hanging around in the woods.

But it's just an idea, and if some other people have some more interesting proposals i can stick to their ideas too.

So, your saying... someone who is new to Felarya, and by one way or another showed up, but first started in a settlement of some sort, and in that location he runs into a collection of other people (i would guess our other chars, or maybe so side "meals" if we have pred chars, and seeing as im running the GM, i have an excellent idea for that..) who then follow him out of the settlement in search of... anything? maybe a way back? some kind of valuable treasure? *cough cough* well whatever that is...

i would guess after that he would also be meeting a few other chars around here, pred and small creatures alike.... and from then on, just wtf ever...

sounds like a basic start to me... lol, now we just need to choose a place to start, and figure out who is using who.

I was just planning on getting the rp rolling then just leave it to midir on what happens, im kinda annoyed with felarya rping atm... so i didn't really plan on staying in this one too long.
