| Simple thread that I'm surprised we don't already have (or maybe it was a dead thread that I was too lazy to look up).
Basically speaking, when you entered these forums, was it for the vore or the adventure?
Speaking for myself, I entered for the vore. But, after being here for a while, I eventually became more fixated for the adventure aspect of the universe.
What about you? | |

| I came here for a little bit of both. I love vore and I'm always up for an adventure! Unless it takes too long, in which case I'll just go home and some vore or adventure stories. | |

| Same. While vore let me discover Felarya, and it's kind of a nice icing on the cake, the world itself is what's convinced me to actually get involved and contribute to the setting. ^^; | |

| Originally I came for the vore, as Felarya was much more vore oriented back then. However as Felarya has developed I've found myself staying for the community and the world itself. | |

| I came here for an adventure, although not in a role-playing sense. I was interested in meeting people who shared some of my unorthodox tastes, no pun intended. | |

| I'm here for the "Voreventure", lol XD
Well, Vore came first. After a while, I got tired and have changed it into "adventure" by start reading Felarya stories ^^

Same here. Felarya is a complex and fascinating universe, with so much to imagine and develop and expand. I like the vore, of course, but fairly often it's incidental to my stories; my focus is more on characters and settings.

| I think I already told you how I wound up in Felarya and it's a long story, but hey, here I am, and mostly because of the adventure. Not exactly the vore, though I wouldn't have it any other way, but I love the girls here. From... a safe distance away, of course. | |

Yeah, I'm with Karbo here. I love Felarya mainly for the lore and adventure but I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't a voreaphile in many circumstances...

| I came to support Felarya. It has so much potential yet to be realized. So I'd say the adventure portion. | |

I agree completely. However, I completely forgot about that and now I think it may be too late.

| well the vore IS an adventure! I actually entered for the vore at first myself. Honestly, I think this world just evolves people to like it for the nonvore aspects too. Joining for the vore isn't a bad thing, but judging this world as nothing but a vore universe IS. | |

| I originally got interested in karbos art around a year before i joined the forum. I like vore and good art, and they where the only person I could find with both at that time~ I'm not sure WHY I like vore as its not a turn on, perhaps its just interesting? Or the part of me that hates how humans act like they are above the food chain coming out with glee. In any case it was a mix of vore and good art being the origins of my interest in felarya. I doubt I'm the only one having good art as a reason for getting interested. But these days its also the plots and stories that interest me. I get less interested in the vore part though the more over powered and ridiculous some fan characters get though^^; | |

| Hey,
It was for the vore, effectively. I mean, my route into Felarya was via Karbo's artwork, which is usually about vore happening to adventurers rather than adventurers having adventures. That's changed somewhat in the last ten or so images, but this was before that; and in the manga's, but I wasn't willing to breach that pay-wall till I was already quite interested in Felarya. Not that the depth of world in the wiki, and a strong community didn't contribute to making me write in Felarya (which is a bit more balanced), but the thing that brought me here - definitely vore. NB, but I wasn't particularly interested in vore until I saw Karbo's artwork of it (the cutesy thing helps it be more - heh - palatable).
Yours,
Ambrose, | |

| The chain of events in my case is the following... 1. Investigating for a character of mine and about the kind of heroines with growing abilities - since my character is a half-giantess able to alter her size -, I found about this macrophilia and its extensions - and if some have read what I've done in 'Felaryan Madness', you know I'm parodying, with no bad intentions since I'm a good guy and respect your tastes, such fetish. 2. Keeping my 'investigation', I found Karbo's artwork. Despite not sharing the tastes of macros and of vore - yes, we non-macrophiles and non-voraphiles exist xD -, I enjoyed the art. 3. Followed Karbo and found of Felarya. Taking some classic concepts and redesigning them in a world first just vore-fetish-fuel and then becoming the dangerous world for any kind of adventure was what brought me here. To sum up: so should I say 'adventure brought me here'? Not accurate, truth to be told. I guess it was just my curiosity. | |

| I came to Felarya when it appeared it had more going on than only the fetish material, to see if it would get fleshed out more. | |

| At first I was only interested in the fetish-themed material, but as I learned more about the world as whole, I grew to like it more for the setting. | |

| I think I'm losing track how many times I've said it now heh- but I found Felarya due to vore but got involved for what everything else involved in this world was. The characters, stories and adventures are what I enjoy the most but the vore is definitely still something there too... it's such a diverse place I find it hard to come up with one definitive reason for having come here. More of a combination of sorts of it I guess is what it comes down to as some have said. | |
