| "Okay. I think there's oxygen, and little or no toxic gases present. So far, so good..."
It seemed Felarya had a newcomer. Standing some six feet tall or so, a few inches being added to this height thanks to his hat, Eraiya Vals sported a black cavalier which looked gaudy to some, thanks to it having a silly, obviously fake, crimson feather sticking out of the brim. A vivid red scarf was wrapped around his neck a few times, the remaining foot or so tossed over his left shoulder, partially covering the faded black jacket he wore over his formal white shirt. Was he wearing pants? Of course he was wearing pants; what a silly question. Also somewhat formal in appearance and a more solid black, appearing noticeably newer than the jacket he wore. Together, the trio of jacket, shirt and pants almost made it seem as if he had a tuxedo on- and that's exactly the sort of look he was going for. Long, tight black socks were hidden beneath the pants, and his newly polished, black dress shoes.
As for why he wore such things, well, when he went out in public, he dressed to impress- that was all there was to it. Whether or not he would actually meet anyone here, though, he had no idea. Still, it was always nice to be prepared- and, hey, wasn't exploring a new region, possibly even an entirely new world reason enough to wear such clothing? Of course it was. So, just how the hell had he gotten here, anyway? Simple. Because he had willed it so. Sparing you the unnecessary details, he was born with the ability to create, manipulate and disperse portals, eventually honing his talents to the point where he could do so at the slightest whim, without even having to concentrate on doing so. You'd think it wouldn't have taken him so many years but, one day, he finally realized that it wasn't his direct eye contact with an area that was necessary for him to create a portal there.
Then again, he was just a very small child at that age, so some thoughts that would later become common sense to him as an adult would take awhile to come to him at that time. Through a bit of experimentation he discovered that he could create one portal directly in front of himself, leading to a second portal a great distance away and, while staring through the first portal, which was "linked" with the second portal, he could go on to create a second set of portals at the location of the second portal, while standing on the side of the first one. In other words, he stood at point A, with portal 1 directly in front of him, which was linked to portal 2, at point B. Without having to be at point B, as long as he looked through portal 1, which was essentially the same as looking through to portal 2, he could create more portals at point B.
((Note- if you're still confused or have any questions about how his portals work, either ask about it here, OOC, or send me a private message, and I'd be more than happy to explain it again and again using different examples and words, and might even make basic diagrams of them in Paint, if necessary, until it makes sense to everyone. Thank you.))
This made him understand that he didn't have to be making direct eye contact with an area to create portals there. Further experimentation went on to show that he could bring portals into existence behind his back, with his eyes closed, and in a few other ways that had never occurred to him before. It didn't take long after this for him to realize that it wasn't where he was staring that determined where the portal came to be- simply put, they came to be wherever he wanted them to be, based on the mental image he had in his head of the area where he wanted it, which was usually the place he was staring. This made him wonder, what if he had a mental image in his head of a place he'd never been to before? As long as that place existed, would a portal be brought into existence there?
You're damn right it would be. Needless to say, creating portals in such a way required a much greater amount of concentration than simply creating one in a spot that was right in front of his eyes- and to this day, even as old as he is now- which will remain a mystery for the time being; I'd rather not give everything away all at once- whenever he creates portals in places he's never visited before, and is only imagining in his mind, he must be in a calm, almost meditative state, focusing on nothing but the possibly non-existent place in his mind for there to be any chance of success. To him, creating portals in this manner was a great way to kill time. Most of the time he would dream up the most surreal environments imaginable, and hope for the best.
The vast majority of the time, even after several minutes, nothing would happen, meaning that there simply wasn't any area on any planet anywhere in the universe that was quite like the place he had imagined. But today, he'd finally had his first breakthrough in years. Of course, he'd already gotten all the celebrating and excitement out of his system before he even went through this window into another world- the last thing he needed was to shout and jump for joy once he was on the other side of these two portals, which might attract the attention of unwanted assailants, whether they came in the form of your common, everyday bandit, or in the form of a wild animal. Well, he couldn't get all the excitement out of his system, but most of it was good enough for him.
The last time Eraiya had managed to open up a portal like this one- and remember, that was several years ago- well, the good news was, the place was definitely real- a magnificent field of ice, with towering chunks and columns of ice rising out of the frozen ground in every size and shape imaginable, some shapes towering hundreds of feet above the ground- it even had the magnificent view of stars he had been looking for. But, of course, if it didn't have such a view, and he had imagined the place as having one, then a portal wouldn't have been created there. Ironic, no? Well, anyway; the bad news was that the place seemed to lack an atmosphere, or something. Maybe it just had insanely violent winds. Perhaps it just had an incredibly strong gravitation pull, compared to his planet's.
Whatever the case was, he had been standing roughly ten to twenty feet away from the portal on his home planet when he had mentally linked that one to the second one on the ice-covered world. Once linked, he had immediately been pulled by a strong force that was just as invisible as his portals were to other people. If not for him mentally severing the link between the two portals in time, his entire body would have easily been sucked through to the other side- and surviving there, if the place didn't have any sort of atmosphere, would have been impossible for him. It was this event that made him imagine large amounts of vegetation whenever he tried creating portals in places he'd never been before. Plants meant oxygen, right? Well, where he came from, it did- maybe plants on other planets only needed mercury in a gaseous form to survive. That would be deadly for him, right? Probably. But "probably deadly" was certainly much better than "definitely deadly."
So, what had he imagined today? That same, impossibly large tree with a vast forest lying at its gargantuan roots, this time with a few tweaks here and there compared to the way he had thought of it the last time. And the time before that. And the time before that. And the- you get the idea. So, it was only natural that he was thrilled that this place existed, and that he be very proud of himself for not giving up hope on such a place. And here he was. In a section of the forest near the base of the Giant Tree.
"Just as dark as I thought it would be, though that doesn't give me any clear indication of whether it's night, or day- damn these treetops for being so thick.. Wait, what am I saying? I'm the one who wanted to be here; jeez, I swear I say the stupidest things, sometimes," he mumbled quietly to himself, taking in his surroundings one detail at a time. Well, even the "small" trees around the giant one seemed to be taller than any he'd ever seen in his entire life. It wasn't like him to talk to himself out loud, but then again, it wasn't like him to be this excited, either, so perhaps the two were connected. Yeah, probably. Well, here he was. Nothing for him to do now, but explore. "Well, here I am. Nothing for me to do now, but explore..."
With a deep breath, a hesitant step and his heart pounding in his chest, so began his exploration of this strange new world.
((Please note, this is just a starter, and I didn't expect it to turn out even half this long. Also, I need to get this out of the way, too: I would strongly prefer that if you replied, you did so with a large and/or dangerous character. I don't want his first meeting with someone on Felarya to be a pleasant one. Yes, I like torturing my character sometimes- not ACTUALLY torturing, but you know what I mean. Anywho. If you're unsure about whether or not you should reply because you're worried that your reply might be "too short," or "not good enough for me" in some other way, please, do not worry about that. I am not here to judge the quality, or length of your replies. I am here to have fun sharing similar interests with others through roleplaying. We all misspell things. We all misuse punctuation. We all have writer's block sometimes. I expect "perfection" from no one, least of all myself. If you're feeling like you shouldn't reply because of how long this is, please remember, I don't care if you reply with three sentences, three paragraphs, or three pages. I'm here to have fun and to be around others who share similar interests. Not to judge you. So if you're on the fence about whether you should reply, thinking maybe you could, but maybe you shouldn't, damn it, I say "go for it." Don't make me beg. I bet your reply will turn out great, and put mine to shame. Come on. Just give it a try. I believe in you. And remember, I didn't expect my very first in-character post here to be even half this long; my replies are usually only one-five paragraphs long. Less than half as long as this turned out to be. So, what are you waiting for? Start writing up your reply! I know you can do it! <3 ))

| The female Dridder wandered through the forest, bored and looking for food. Her elven half was a little round and had a purplish gray color to it along with some scars going down her arms, her spider half a pitch black color with red stripes down the middle of her legs and thorax, and all together must have been around 70 feet tall or so. Her hair was blue, straight, and flowed down to where the elven and spider parts connected. As for clothing, she had a pair of black leather bracers and a few gold bracelets on her arms. For a name, she called herself Lula. No last name, no favored nickname. Her name was Lula, and she loved that name more than she loved food and shiny objects, probably not combined though. While looking up at the treetops, her stomach growled. 'Damn, I haven't had some food in a while.' Lula thought, holding her stomach and glancing back down. As she did, she noticed something that looked humanoid, but dressed up rather fancy. She was standing several meters away from the humanoid, and prepared to attack. She aimed her thorax at the humanoid and fired some web at it. "Finally, some FOOD!" she said aloud.
((I think the spider part is called a thorax. I dunno, I haven't been in biology in forever. Also, this is my first female character other than that one time on Omegle. Don't ask.))

| Apparently noticing the large, humanoid spider several seconds before she seemed to notice him, he'd already mentally prepared a portal between himself and her, along with a second in the air behind her head, though there was no way for anyone other than himself- and others with the ability to see the portals he created- to know this. Raising one hand meekly in greeting, he mumbled out a quiet, "Oh, er.. H-Hello, there," and wouldn't have been at all surprised if this strange half-spider half-elf looking hybrid didn't hear him, considering it didn't come out nearly as loudly as he'd meant for it to. Suddenly she turned around and spoke. Wait, did she just call him food? Shit. Out of all the inhabitable planets he had to stumble across- no time to think about that.
Though he'd been paranoid enough- well, obviously not "paranoid" since those fears had just been justified by her sudden attack- to open up a portal between the two of them, along with another directly behind her head, he'd had the common courtesy not to link them together from the moment he saw her. It was sort of like a bow and an arrow. You could have one, and you could have the other, but if they weren't put together with one another, they were about as useful as your common twig. Linking them together is what actually put them to use- and that's exactly what he did. Unless she could control which way the web flowed in midair, changing its flow to wrap around his side, and behind him- which he doubted it could, though had to admit might have been possible; after all, creatures like this shouldn't have possibly existed, right? So, maybe she could change the direction her web flew through the air, in midair- it would simply go through the portal about a foot in front of himself, and come out through the one behind her head, which would...
Crap. He'd made the portal facing toward the back of her head before she had turned her body around, facing away from him. She was only about a second away from getting hit in the face, rather than the back of her head, with her own web. Oh~ man. Despite the fact that she was trying to kill him, Eraiya really hoped she wouldn't be upset with him for making her do that to her own face. Yes, he actually cared about this being's feelings- he had to. She was the first person he'd met on this planet, she seemed to speak the same language he did, and he wanted to know everything he could about this new world. He needed to speak with her. Back to the situation at hand, remember, he had to admit that, as impossible as it might have seemed, it might have been possible for this woman to control which way her web moved while it was still in midair.
Keeping this in mind, he had a portal form beneath his feet with a second one up in the treetops in one of the highest branches of the trees located directly above the two of them, and from the height of it, looked almost out of reach for the strange-looking spider woman, if she tried reaching up that high with her arm. Maybe, maybe not- it was difficult for him to tell if it was that high or not, when he was all the way down here. In any case, the two portals weren't linked, but were ready to be linked at a moment's notice. As for the two elves, well, he was too busy concentrating as hard as he could on the direction the web was moving, along with whether or not he should link the latest two portals he had created immediately or not, to notice the two of them- too busy to even reply to her comment about him being food, though he would most likely reply to that as soon as he felt as if he didn't have to put 100% of his concentration into his use of portals, and the way she was attacking him.
((Oh, pshaw- don't worry about it, Boris. You're doing very well, and I'm pretty sure they're called thoraxes too, though I can't swear to that, either. Besides, why should I judge you for being a male, playing a female character? I don't care. =P In fact, I consider you more open-minded than most for doing that, because most male roleplayers wouldn't be willing to do that. And thank both of you for replying- I'm happy to have some posts in here, now. ^.^ ))

| While the web neared her target, Lula noticed the two elves. "Ooh, lucky day for me!" she said aloud, rubbing her hands together. She turned her attention back to the webbing, and as it was about to hit her target, she noticed something in the corner of her eye. When she turned to look at it, she got a faceful of spider webbing. "What the HELL?!" She screamed, pulling the webbing off her face. "These are MY foodstuffs! Go get your own!" She looked back at the human, then at the two elves, trying to decide what she wanted more. 'I haven't had elf in a while, but they would put up more of a fight then I'd like right now,' Lula thought, rubbing her chin a little. 'The dressed up human is too out of place NOT to-' She stopped, looking at the human and realizing something. 'That human should be covered in my webbing. Something's not right...' She positioned herself and fired another web at the human. | |

| Jen blinked spotting the human and the spider woman, she looked between them wondering if she should help, it seemed her small counterpart though had already decided what she was going to do. Oma rushed forward just as the web was soaring through the air, she moved quickly knocking the human to the ground, unfortunatly this caused the webbing to hit Oma directly in the stomach, thowing her back and pinning her into a nearby tree. The giantess Jen eeped moving forward in hopes of freeing her friend. | |

| Okay. He had one, maybe two seconds to apologize for that. Not wasting any time, he quickly formed one mid-sized portal directly in front of his mouth, the other next to the dridder's right ear, and quickly said, "Look, I- I'm sorry about that, but it's not my fault that you chose to attack me! Can we talk this ou-?" Wait. Were those footsteps? Yes. Yes, they were. Apparently someone else wanted to have a go at him- or so it seemed to him. The good news was that this was turning out to be an excellent test of his reflexes and decision-making skills. The bad news was that, as he noticed the woman sprinting at him, appearing to want to tackle him, he saw another, much taller woman over her shoulder- though still not quite as tall as that odd-looking spider-woman.
He'd almost slipped up, nearly deciding to create one portal between himself and the woman with the one he would've linked to it appearing directly behind him, effectively making her bypass the spot he was standing in, and tackling thin air. But instead he decided to just go ahead and link the two portals he'd already made, and was hoping to save for emergency use if this overgrown spider decided to attack him again- which it looked like she was about to do. So, rather than getting the dridder more upset with him by accidentally having her hit herself somewhere with her own web again, as soon as he disappeared into the ground and reappeared on a branch that appeared to be just out of arm's length for the dridder- or was it?- he immediately dispersed all six of the portals he had just created in the past five to ten seconds- the two that sent the dridder's web back at her, the two that got him from the ground to the branch he was on, and the two he'd used to speak into the dridder's ear, in case he was too small for her to hear him if he had simply shouted.
As for the woman who'd tried tackling him, as well as someone who might have been her companion, he deemed them much less of a threat than the monstrosity he was looking down on now, ready to try giving a conversation with her a second try if she would listen. And of course, if she didn't, he had already formed another portal under his feet, leading to a slightly higher branch on a nearby tree. Of course he was almost always prepared- he was nearly always paranoid about being attacked at random, though it happened so rarely. That paranoia is what helped him avoid painful deaths, most of the time.
((Looking back on it, I should have rephrased how the web thing would have worked if/when/after it went through that portal; that was borderline auto-hitting on my part, and I apologize for it. Thanks for being cool about it.))

| "ugh this stuff is very tough" Jen says trying to pull the silk from Oma, Oma squirmed slightly, her bare back pinned against the tree, her waist and hands were pinned by the silk, the two elves were no longer focused on the human or the spider girl. | |

| ((No prob, man.))
Lula turned around when she heard the voices in her ear, but couldn't find anyone near her that could have spoken those words. "Show yourself!" She shouted, still looking around for anyone. After a moment, she turned back towards the human only to find her web had hit one of the elves, and the other elf was trying to help the stuck one. She began walking toward them when she noticed the human was missing.'Was that human the one that was talking to me?' Lula thought, poking a finger into each ear to try and clear them out. She shook her head and began walking again. When she was close enough, she leaned over the taller elf's shoulder. "Too bad you can't be me," Lula said to the elves. "Dridder webbing is nearly impossible to get off if you aren't the Dridder that-" She stopped talking when she realized what she said. The webbing she had on her face came off rather easily, but if it was shot from another Dridder it would have taken ages to get it off. There was some magic involved and she knew it. She took a couple steps back and began looking around. "Where are you, Human?" She called out.
((Also, it's unlikely I'll be on tomorrow. The family is going to a Medieval festival tomorrow for my sister's birthday, and I just can't say no to anything medieval.))

| ((Aww! I understand. Well, that just means we gotta have as much fun as we can today, ja?))
Wait a minute. She couldn't see or hear him. Well, of course she couldn't see him, the branch he was standing on was.. Was huge, much bigger than he thought it would be, and directly between himself and the dridder. Immediately taking advantage of this he placed his body against the branch, lying down flat against it after opening another portal near the dridder's ear and putting his end of the portal as close as he could to his lips so that most of the sound he made would travel directly through it, rather than giving away his location. The only strange thing he'd noticed before lying down was that the human-sized elf and her large companion didn't seem to be friends of the dridder. Perhaps the one that was his height had just been trying to push him out of the way, rather than attempting to tackle him?
"I think I'd rather not give away my position, but thanks for taking the time to ask," Eraiya replied casually, amazed at himself for maintaining such a nonchalant, 'I don't care about what's going on right now' sort of attitude, despite everything that was happening. "Perhaps I've broken down my body down into the many trillions of tiny little molecules that I'm composed of, and have merged my body and mind with yours so that you can hear me. Perhaps I'm psychic, and am communicating to you through the use of those psychic abilities. Who knows. In any case, your words and tone of voice towards those other two women seem to suggest that you aren't exactly friends, and may even be consider eating them, now, instead of myself. What would it take for me to convince you not to eat them, hmm? Oh, and where are my manners- my name is "Eraiya," "Eraiya Vals," if you must know my full name. What might yours be and, so that I'm more familiar with the races that this planet has to offer, what do you call your race, as well as this world?.."

| Lula was momentarily stunned. Her food had attempted to push her away! She was getting ready to hit the elf that pushed her when she heard the voice again. She cocked her head a little to show she the offending elf she was listening to something, and paid as much attention to the voice as she could. While listening, she realized it must have been the human talking to her in some way, probably involving magic. When the voice was done speaking, she had half a mind to laugh and go ahead with eating the elves. But considering this human had magic, she should listen to it. "Well, Eraiya Vals, my name is Lula," she said, looking around to try and find the human. "And no, I am not a friend of these puny elves. This world is called Felarya, and I am a Dridder, one of the greatest species of this planet. The only things greater than a Dridder are the things that can eat one in a single gulp." At that, Lula proudly smiled. "Finally, if you really want to save these creatures, you'd have to first show yourself to me and tell me what you can offer. If I find it interesting, I promise I won't eat them or you. But if it isn't interesting to me, it might get a little cramped in your new home." She rubbed her belly and licked her lips when she finished speaking.
((Nevermind, I'll be on tomorrow. Turns out we can't go to the fest because of thunderstorms.))

| While Lula had been replying, Eraiya had taken the time to peek through the portal that led from his mouth next to her ear, getting a better idea of where he should form a third, and fourth portal next to the small and tall elves. After doing so, he temporarily switched the link between the portal in front of his lips to the one next to the smaller elf's ear. "Don't be alarmed, and don't show any signs that you can hear me. I'm going to try and get this.. "Dridder," as she calls herself, away from you two while your friend gets that web off of you. I can guarantee you at least ten minutes if this goes well, but still, try to get it off as fast as you can, alright? Don't try replying- I won't be able to hear you." That said, he repeated the same basic message in the taller elf's ear, changing around the wording a bit for it to make sense.
Once that was out of the way, he immediately dispersed those two portals, linked the one near his lips back up to the one near Lula's ear and mentioned, "Ah, Lula, you say? A beautiful name, befitting a beautiful being such as yourself- I can see why the Dridders are a proud race. Your kind certainly has much to be proud of, from what I can tell from this first meeting with your kind, and yourself." As far as he could tell, this dridder seemed to have a bit of an ego. Perhaps most dridders were that way, perhaps they weren't- but in any case, this one did, and that was all he needed to know to work this conversation in his favor. Taking the topic of conversation even further away from the elves, he asked, "If I swore to reveal myself, and did so, could I be so bold as to request a tour of the forest? I'd like to get to know more about this place, and I'd love to hear more about your race- everything from your personality to the color of your skin fascinates me. After this brief tour, I could also swear to having an interesting proposition for you- what this proposition is, I cannot tell you until you've given me a tour. Is this fair, Miss Lula?" Ah, so apparently he was adding a "Miss" in front of her name as a sign of respect. Lovely.
((Aww. I'm sorry about that. Do you know when the next one will be?))

When the human responded, Lula blushed a little. "Aw, you're just saying that!" she said. She wasn't used to flattery from humans- or anyone, for that matter. She was more used to 'Eek, a Dridder! Run away!', and was loving the flattery. "You know what, a tour of the forest doesn't sound that bad. I could probably do with getting acquainted with it as well. We'll learn about it together!" She had a determined and happy look on her face. "As long as your proposition is interesting, I'll give you a tour!" She awaited a response from the human, pretty much completely ignoring the elves.

"No, really!" he exclaimed, suddenly appearing in front of her. How? He was dangling by his hand going through the portal below himself that he'd been lying on, with the other end of the portal directly in front of herself and the tree closest to her, making it appear that his fingertips were somehow phasing through the tree, which is how he seemed to be hanging in front of her. "I swear, you look fantastic, Miss Lula- and like I said, here I am. I promised I'd show myself, didn't I? I'd like to think that I'm not a liar- and I'm trusting you not to eat me, alright? So! For my own personal safety on the tour, may I sit either on your thorax, or on top of your head? I'd rather you not accidentally crush me beneath one of your legs. As for the proposition, I assure you- it is."
There was something about the way that he said that sentence that made it sound as if he was dying to tell her what the deal was- and he was dying to tell her what the deal was. But that would have to wait until the tour was over. "Oh, and for added safety, as well as for me to become acquainted with my surroundings, can we not wander too far from this area, and not go anywhere that's very dangerous? I understand if we can't go anywhere without there being a chance of at least a small amount of danger, but can we please keep the life-threatening situations to a bare minimum, Miss Lula? Oh, an~d is there anything you'd prefer for me to call you instead of "Miss Lula," such as "Lula," a different name of yours, or perhaps a nickname?"

| ((Oh, the fest isn't canceled. My parents just don't want to walk in a little rain, so they decided to go another time. And don't worry about it. This is gonna be my last post before I get some sleep. And please forgive any errors in this post, I'm barely awake right now.))
Lula was caught off guard and jumped a little when she saw Eraiya appear in front of her. She reached one hand to her chest, her heartbeat racing beneath that hand. "You spooked me a little there!" she said to the human. "But you did show yourself like I asked, so I won't think of you as a liar." She moved her hand back down to her side. "You'd probably be safest on my thorax, but if you'd like to sit somewhere else, just tell me and I'll move you." She reached up, grabbed the human, and placed him on her thorax closest to where her two halves connected. "Like I said, I'm not entirely used to these parts either, so I can't guarantee complete safety. But if anything happens, I'll protect you. And please, just call me Lula. Miss Lula is so formal, and I don't have any nicknames." When she was done speaking, Lula began walking away from the elves, trying to plan out a path that would lead them in a circle around the tree she found the human in.

| ((Aww. Oh, it's okay- the post is perfect, don't worry about it! :3 ))
Oh, wonderful- while this had originally just been a plan to get this dridder away from the elves, she seemed more than friendly enough for him to actually consider as more of a friend, and less of a being who was just a part of his plan to help others, and nothing more. At this rate, by the time the tour was over, he would most likely consider this person his first friend here on- or would it be "in?"- Felarya. "Oh! Heh, sorry about that," he began, apologizing for accidentally scaring her, and thanking her as soon as she lifted up and, instead of placing him in her mouth, placed him on her back. "Ahh, alright, I understand- and thanks for offering to protect me if anything dangerous happens; that's very kind of you. Likewise, I mean no offense towards your offensive or defensive capabilities when I say this, but if anything dangerous happens, I vow to protect you as well, Lula." Though he'd been speaking with a fairly complacent, carefree tone of voice for most of the time that he'd spoken to her so far, this last sentence was spoken with a certain conviction that clearly conveyed that he meant what he said, and didn't plan on letting her down if they encountered anything dangerous.

| Lula stopped and looked back at the elves. "Maybe I'll help you out later," she said to the pair in a slightly aggravated tone. "Right now I have something more important, and probably more fun, to do than help my food escape." She turned back around and began walking again. "Don't worry about it," Lula said to the human on her thorax. "I'm sure everyone is in need of a good scare every now and then." She giggles a little when she heard what the human said next. "Alright, we can protect each other from whatever we find in this forest." As she walked, she pointed to the trees and anything that could be of interest and told the human what she believed were their names. | |

| "Sounds great, Lula- but, hopefully, there shouldn't be too much to have to protect each other from anyway, right? I mean.. Just how dangerous is this place, exactly?.." He'd already been slowly glancing around to and fro, but ever since he'd gotten here, it was mostly out of a sense of curiosity, wondering if anything of interest might be hiding just around the next tree- now he was looking around in the same manner just to be on his guard for more predators. "Ahh, there's no way I can remember all the names of these different trees, or how to tell 'em apart. Oh! But before I forget to ask, you mentioned leaving those two there for food- is there anything you eat besides living creatures, like any sort of fauna or plants?" | |

| Jen shook her head slightly leaning against the tree "we could just leave and don't you dare call us food we are not food!" she says an annoyed look upon her face as she stared at the back of the dridder, Oma now had stopped squirming to simply relax against the tree she was pinned so efficently to. | |

| ((It's fine. I had to go run and do something.))
Lula was ignoring the elves for now. She put pretty much all of her focus into the tour. "I'm not entirely sure how dangerous this forest is," she said to the human. "But Felarya can be pretty dangerous for little people like you." She had to think about the next thing the human said for a moment. "No, I only eat living things. Well, on occasion I'll eat dead things, but that's only if I'm really hungry. And you don't have to worry about remembering all of the names. You just need to remember which ones to avoid." As she continued with the tour, Lula's stomach began growling again. "I hope your proposition has something to do with food, I'm starving..."

| ((Heh, it's fine, don't worry about it.)) "Ah~, y'don't say. So I guess that means that there are plenty more beings of your size, and the size of that very tall elf, ne? Looks like this place might not be so easily inhabitable, after all. Then again.. Meh. Back on my home planet, I was very rarely in any real danger, and only when I willingly forced myself into dangerous situations did I ever have to worry about my personal well-being. Perhaps being here could be fun- something of a challenge, even. Good point on the names and appearances of trees, and~ as a matter of fact, yes, my proposition does have something to do with food. If you'd like, I suppose I could take back my promise of telling you what it is once the tour is over, and simply tell you what it is right now, if you'd prefer." As if his stomach had a mind of own, hers wasn't the only one growling. Heh. He'd deal with that momentarily, after he dealt with Lula's hunger first. | |
