Kale gritted his teeth as his face turned red and a vein bulged on his forehead. "That's it! Ever since we met you've been running your mouth for answers and and I'm tired of being your-" He began coughing and hacking violently. After a few seconds he spat out a massive glob of flem and began talking in a much more normal tone. "Alright, that's enough of that. It's going to take a lot of whiskey drinking before my voice sounds like that naturally. As I was saying, if you want any information from us it's going to cost you."
"You're in the Chanossa mangrove. This place has a it's own dangers but it's not a deathtrap like other parts of Felarya." Evellic said. "That's all I'm giving out for free."
Kale suddenly grabbed the massive sniper rifle from his back and began backing towards a tree with a large hole in it. Evellic had done the same, dropping the bag of items and drawing her large sword.
Then looking up he saw something move high up in the trees. "There you are!" He took aim and pulled the trigger. A deafening bang rang out that nearly rendered everyone in the area deaf as the gun forced Kale's upper torso back lightly.
Then a dead Arboreal Frog fell through the tree broaches with a hole in it's head and landed on something in some nearby bushes.
"It's mistake was trying to eat me and thinking I didn't know."

"Thank you very much" Seline said to Mortis after he had helped her up, and then went into a deep bow, making her human half align with her ant half to become pretty much horizontal. She put her right hand under her torso and made a quick movement to the side with her left. "My name is Seline. I am the eldest and strongest daughter of my mothers hive which has conquered every enemy we have ever had. It is a pleasure to meet you Mortis, Eraiya, Kale and Evellic" She said gracefully and smiled gently.

Mortis wasn't really one for formal greetings but because Seline could be considered a princess, he made an exeption and bowed politely. Suddenly, a loud BANG from behind him caused him to whirl round and draw his sword. But as a frog tumbled from the trees, he realised Kale didn't need any help. He sheathed his sword and turned back toward Seline.
"You said something about a hive right? Is it near here?" He asked, wanting to know more about her strange species.
He imagined a huge hive full of half-ant half-human creautures. So many questions raced through his mind.
Did they have modern technology or were they still using sticks to light their fires? Were they friendly to outsiders? If they were friendly would they sell things to visitors? What would they sell? He wanted to ask all these questions but he knew it would do nothing but irritate her so he kept his mouth shut.

When scout got close enough to the group, scout raised her gun at the Kale as he began pulling out his rifle. Fortunately she didn't have to fire, due to Kale not seeing her as the target, but some strange Frog looking creature from up above. She continued walking forward, deactivating her suits power revealing herself. All the little meta-materials on the fabric of her vest and pants began to flicker away in a digital pixel form. Showing her black clad clothes and backpack to their pre-set form. She then raised her gun's hip to her shoulder to give her the better initiative, in case she was going to get in an unexpected conflict with the five individuals. Keeping her guard up as she would when meeting and enemy.
Just standing a few feet away. She made her first eye contact with Eraiya, who was already looking at her with much surprise and a little enthusiasm. Taking off her hoodie from her vest, she waved and gave a friendly smile towards him "Howdy there." she said with her close to southern Drawl
(btw if u want to know how the stealth works on the vest and pants/outfit. its similar to how the Ghost soldiers in this video cloak)

((Sorry for my slow reply- the thread was just getting about one reply a day for several days, I didn't expect four replies in one day, and, yeah. If that happens again with me, feel free to continue the RP without me and I'll catch up when I can; I don't want to be a burden. Also, a quick thanks to Doc for reminding me about this. I accidentally went and got addicted to this one online game and, yeah. Been pretty distracted lately. Sorry about that.))
Aiya, there was a lot going on. Kale seemed to be in his element, Evellic- from his point of view- seemed to be challenging him to ask more questions, so long as he had the money to back up getting more answers out of her, Mortis- was that his name? Eraiya was so terrible when it came to remembering names- seemed to be getting on fine with.. That ant-woman, whatever her name was; he would've listened in more closely to what they were talking about if not for the pain in his ear from that deafening bang! that had just gone off beside him, and suddenly,
"Hello!" he replied cheerily, taking in the appearance of yet another stranger in stride- and, in the process, immediately disregarding what Kale and Evellic as if they hadn't said anything to him at all. To him, this was normal- to most others, this would probably come off as too strange to be considered at all rude. "Just keep crawling out of the woodwork, don't we? I wouldn't be surprised if our group numbers in the triple digits by the time we get to Negav; it's like we pick up another person with every step we take! Anyway, if you haven't been listening to us introduce ourselves to each other, I'm Eraiya, annnd the rest of these people are free to introduce themselves as they please."
Now, bear in mind that from his first to his last words, he could barely hear a word he was saying- there was an earsplitting ringing in his ears, and he had to play it off as if it didn't seem any louder to him than it did anyone else. Whether or not he was, he couldn't tell but assumed he was, being his usual, optimistic self and all. Perhaps his words had been heard and understood as if he was speaking normally, perhaps they had sounded as if he was born deaf, and communicated by reading peoples' lips as best he could, and replying accordingly. Either way, he'd soon find out through the facial expressions of the people around him.

Kale's attractive woman senses began to tingle as a new person appeared and began talking to Aiya. He immediately rushed over next to her when she took her hood off and introduced herself. Clearing his throat he smoothly introduced himself. "Greetings lovely lady. I'm Kale and these are some people me and Evellic ran into. What brings you to these parts of the woods?"

"I must regret that I haven't the slightest clue as to where my home is" Seline answered to Mortis. "And even if I did, I'd have no way to get inside with this size" For a split second, she had a very sorrowful look in her eyes, before she looked at the frog again. "Anyone hungry? We have stuff for a great stew. Arboreal Frog and Kensha beast goes great together" she said with a grin that took in her ears. Then out of the blue, Scout appeared. Seline was quite surprised to see her just appear like that, but she was also quite interested and battle lusting. She held her mask though and waited to see how she would respond to such an insulting manner of speech from Kale.

"Oh Im sorry..." said Mortis regretfully. Clearly something tragic happened. "Don't waste your food on me. I appreciate the gesture but I don't need to eat. Also I need to get to Negav before the sun goes down. I don't want to be stuck out here in the dark."
He looked behind him to see what Seline was looking at and saw yet another stranger approach the group. He chuckled when he heard Kale greet her and was interested in what would happen next.

When scout heard Kale's introduction, her face grew extremely irritated when she hear the word "Lady" in his sentence. In quick a quick succession, She spun her rifle's but towards Kale's massive lower part. Swinging her body and the Rifle in unicine to To create the hardest blow on Kale's 'private property'. Kale anguishing in pain and covering his hands over the blow didn't really phase Scout for sympathy. "Don't call me lady,Dirt bag." she said in an annoyed tone towards kale.
After that, her mood swung from annoyed to mirth and kindness when she looked back at the others, putting one of her hands behind her head "Sorry...Its a force of habit, though unlike him you guys might do better." she said with a slightly embarrassed grin. She then looked at Evellic and walked towards her. "you two are the guys I'm supposed to meet up with from Hades corps right?"

Seline couldn't help laughing at Scouts actions. Scout had reacted in a way very similar to how Seline would, if less violently. "You have quite a bit of skill" She said as she walked towards Scout, interrupting the question she had just asked Evellic. Once Seline was standing right next to Scout, she bowed and introduced herself formally to the newcomer. "May we hear you name?"

Well, no one seemed to be looking at him as if he had just spouted off a bunch of gibberish, so his words must have came out the way he had hoped they would. Good, good. Looking around at everyone talking and interacting with one another in their own ways- including, but not limited to, violently assaulting the private parts of one another with potentially deadly weaponry- he couldn't help but smile to himself and, still being unable to hear anything but a loud ringing in his ears, nodding in response to.. Well, anything, if anyone had said something to him. Whether anyone was speaking to him or not, he had no idea- well, no one was looking directly at him, so that meant he was fine, right? Yeah, probably- well, then again, he often spoke to people without even looking in their general direction, so maybe one of them could have been doing the same-
-but on the other hand, he was a bit strange compared to most others, so it wouldn't really be fair to compare his social quirks to the standard, everyday behavior of others; since no one was looking right at him, chances are that no one was speaking to him. But if someone was... Ah well; hopefully that short nod would suffice for a reply, if anyone had said anything to him- and if no one had said a word to him, the nod was still just subtle enough to pass for a casual gesture of agreement with something someone else had said. Man, it felt weird having his sense of hearing taken away from him- he really did hope that came back sometime soon. Really soon. Until then, he was heading off towards the general direction Negav was in once again- if anyone decided to follow him, that was fine, if they all decided to stand in one place as they talked, rather than walking and talking at the same time, that was fine too- he, like Mortis, just didn't want to be out in the open here at nighttime.

Mortis could barely contain his laughter as Scout really hit Kale where it hurt. If only she could understand how much that would hurt a guy. He composed himself and noticed Seline walk up to the newcomer and greet her. He thought about doing the same untill he saw Eraiya wander off into the forest. Maybe he was tired of waiting for everyone to get a move on?
He also decided that they had been standing around long enough and walked into the forest in a different direction from Eraiya. He wanted to follow him but Urael, (Pronounced "You-Rail") was getting ravenous and he wouldn't want to lose control and take the lives of any of the people he had met. He had no idea where he was going, so he let Urael guide him. How hard could it be to find a huge city?
(Urael is the name of the demon Mortis has. I thought it would become a bit stale if I only ever called it "Demon" so I gave it a name. I am also going to alter Mortis' bio as the weeks go by so if I change things don't worry.

"Uh." Evellic said, shifting her gaze between Kale and Scout. "Never heard of them. We're just freelancers." She then noticed that Kale had grabbed his sniper rifle and now had it pointed at Scout. Unprovoked assault on E.A.F military personal was legally punishable by death. She decided to do something before a bloodbath took place. "Kale, I know what you're thinking, don't do it."
Kale fingered the trigger, ready to fire at the drop of a hat. "Unprovoked assault of E.A.F military personal is legally punishable by death."
"Don't kid yourself Kale. You were probably listed as dead years ago. Besides, do you really want another military group after us because you executed one of their solders for being irrational?"
"You're right, it's not worth it." He replied, lowering his gun. "Besides. She's a human female. It's in her nature to be irrational and do stupid things for equally stupid reasons. Logical thinking just isn't their thing."

"Names Scout. Scout J. Wreicher." She said as she looked away from Evellic and towards Seline. Answering her question with a smile and a quick Salute with her middle and index fingers. She then looked back a Kale with a cold Stare as she heard the insults out of his mouth. In scouts mind, this was a poor display of a solider, being fussed over getting hit in the balls and turning a gun on her out of rage. She Then walked up to Kales massive figure, crossing her arms and looking down at the ground as she was about to something to Kale.
"well then...that makes me an exception compared to you. Your vigilance is too happy-go lucky, you expect warm welcomes from some Stranger that just came out of the blue and expect everything to be Ok. What if I was out to get you. i could have personally taken you out from a range from where I was at, or could have just execute you with the Handgun on my Holster here." She said as she pulled it out and done a couple of mid air tosses before landing perfectly in her hand, facing it towards Kale, giving herself quick playful sigh before putting it back. "you shouldn't treat someone as a friend, speically if you didn't ask for there name first like Seline girl did here." she said as she turned half her face to give a quick wink at Seline.
"your vigilance maybe poor, but hey, your a different kind of soldier, ones that people need once in awhile." She said as she started raffling through her bag to pull out a canteen she picked up from a group earlier. "Here." she said as she tossed the metal container to kale, catching it in midair with his large hands. "A reminder of what you should do next time, Logically." she said calmly putting a firm emphasis on the word 'Logically'. She then walked back towards Seline and Evellic, taking notice of how mortis and Eraiya were leaving.
Looking at Eraiya first. she put her hands at her mouth to amplify what she was going to yell at him "hey! i know your half deaf so get back here! fools wish to go out alone. specially if there might be fairies wanting to taste your ass." She then turned to Mortis and was about to do the same thing "As for you. Give us a reason, i mean come on, eat something before you depart at least."

Seline giggled throughout the entire display between Kale and Scout. She didn't want to laugh because of her manners, but she couldn't help herself when Scout winked at her. She did manage to turn away and smother the laugh with her hands, even though it was quite obvious what she was doing. Seline stopped laughing as scout mentioned Eraiya and Mortis, she was only mildly surprised that Scout actually cared whether they left or not, but how did she know about Eraiya being half deaf? Seline tensed visibly, she was very excited, she wanted to fight with scout and see what the human was capable off in battle.

Mortis stopped in his tracks when he heard Scout call him. Food wasn't something he was usually interested in, but he realised that it would be impolite to just leave without saying a word. He turned around and walked back towards the group. He had heard of fairies before. They weren't an uncommon creature in his universe. Standing at about 4 feet tall, they flew around the magical forests in the northlands. Judging by what Scout had said, he assumed that the fairies in this world were hostile to people. How could something so small eat something so large? Unless these fairies were bigger...
He looked up into the sky and saw that the sun was setting. Moving in the dark was generally a bad idea no matter where you were so he decided to set up camp here. At least there was safety in numbers. He walked over towards the nearest tree and, after drawing his sword, began hacking off some of the lower banches. Gathering them up, he brought them back to the group and laid them on the ground in a big pile.
Curling his hand into a fist, it began to crackle with black electrical energy. He lowered his hand to the pile and snapped his fingers. The resulting spark lit the pile of wood and soon a small fire was burning.
"So, anyone got any good food with them?"

Spoiler:
Kain Redwell
"...Why did it end this way?"
---Basic---
Age: 27 Gender: Male Race: Human Birthplace: Cartes, though he's forgotten which city. Affiliations: The Cartesian National Bank
---Personal---
Description: Kain stands a good six feet in height. In truth, he was actually taller, but the burdened life he's led has caused him to lose some of his original attributes. Interestingly, though, he's been regaining height since he arrived in Felarya for what he believes is the soil's effect on him. Over time, he may return to his original height of 6'2".
Kain's hair is jet black, and his eyes are an equally dark brown. His hair has a few stray gray strands coming out of the back , which fall out, only be replaced by other lone strands. His hair and eyes matches his cloak and armor, intentionally, of course- Kain dresses to take advantage of the darkness, which is when he often acts.
Beneath the cloak, he keeps a short-sleeved shirt and comfortably loose pants on, and over those, armor and equipment. Nothing of import need be said about this armor and weaponry, except that it seems both familiar and outlandish.
Personality: Kain is a lot of broken dreams and swallowed regrets in the form of a witty, cynical, arrogant man. He, like anyone else who's been hurt, keeps personal things locked deep away. But if provoked, he's quick to bring them up, if only to prove a point. Generally speaking, he's not interested in his own well-being, or the well-being of others. While he'd hate to admit it, he does have a soft spot for women and girls, oft reminded of his wife and daughter. But usually, Kain likes to treat the world with the same unfairness it treats him with. All of this packed up into a die-hard in every sense makes for a very difficult and unreasonable man. He does, however, have his moments of weakness. Memories are one of the few things he clings to, for being enslaved and indoctrinated requires a partial memory wipe, in order to ensure obedience and remove a person's ties, and Kain has long since been attempting to resist each wipe, holding dearly his memories of his wife, daughter, and old life. At times like these, Kain manages to remember his humanity, and may show a rare act of kindness and understanding.
History: Kain's life was a good one. Growing up, he had plenty of friends throughout his years. They came and went like the years did, but never was he lonely. His standard of living was high for a middle-class man's son. His education, top-notch. In his early adolescence, he met a girl, and before he could understand what he was feeling, love had struck. It wasn't the first girl he'd become infatuated with, but it would be the last. They married soon after, and had a child- a beautiful daughter. Life was good, and it looked like life couldn't get any worse.
Then, a few years later, reality struck. Kain soon learned that miracles came with a cost. His family had taken several loans to manage to give him that kind of incredible life. Why they would continue to take loan after loan to keep the lie going, Kain would never know. But his parents were dead now, and the reality of their debt had finally reared its ugly head upon Kain's doorstep. He inherited nothing from them but their debts. Kain's wife, seeing the predicament that was now upon her family, did what she felt was all she could do as a mother: she took her daughter, some belongings, whatever money was left, and fled. Kain was left alone.
Bankruptcy didn't exist in his homeland. No, the process was far more different with increasing magnitudes of debt. When you fell into the pit Kain did, the bank took legal and brutal action: they enslaved you, and forced you to work to pay off your debts. Kain's life was torture the first two years he'd been indoctrinated into a life of slavery. Things looked hopeless... then, his nation had happened across the world of Felarya, and the bank saw this as a good opportunity for their slaves to work off their debt: by searching for and retrieving lost artifacts and riches on the mysterious new world. Suddenly, things became even more hopeless for Kain.
Kain was among the first Cartesian explorers thrown into Felarya, considered expendable due to his slave status. Miraculously, he and some of his fellow slaves, and their few remaining handlers, survived long enough to discover the city of Negav, and through some negotiation, established a post and portal in the capital city. From their, Kain's handlers took permanent residence and now had the power to control their slaves from afar.
Though there were many slaves, and they were oft sent in groups after treasure, or in some rare cases, giants, Kain himself was always kept to one or two partners, but most of the time, just by himself. While he was capable, his recklessness often brought everything around him in to harm's way, thus, even his slavers decided he ought to remain alone.
Now, Kain wanders Felarya alone, rarely staying in one place, always caught up going from one assignment to the next. He tries to stay alone and on the move, because it earns him a little freedom. Even then, he was always a little more resistant to the mind-control than most of the slaves. Oddly enough, his ability to resist has only been getting stronger since his arrival in Felarya. Perhaps, in time, he will break free. Until then, he will continue to hunt for his masters and put on a false guise.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral. Goals:
Listed in terms of priority;
1. Free himself. - In Progress "I'm not yer fuckin' servant boy..."
2. Get some allies. - Not Started "Need more cards t' play."
3. Find enough treasure and artifacts to pay off his enormous debt. - In Progress "How the fuck did mom n' dad borrow this much?"
4. Find a weapon to give him an edge against his captors. - Not Started "First thing I'd do is shove it up Eldrige's ass..."
5. Leave Felarya - Not Started "No place like home. Sorta."
6. Find his wife and daughter - Not Started "..."
---Skills and Inventory---
Melee Combat: 7 - Very Skilled |||||||\\\ Kain had learned self-defense in his youth, and practiced it semi-regularly up until his marriage. It had given him a good foundation to work off of. It was only after he was enslaved that he had been able to develop a working and practical knowledge of combat. Through what few means he's had, Kain has taught himself mixed-martial arts, and a couple years of live combat experience has hardened him and sharpened his skills further. He's suffered some loss from depreciated physical attributes, but his time in Felarya is somehow slowly rectifying this.
Firearms: 5 - Average |||||\\\\\ Kain hasn't really explored his talent with guns of any sort, but with practice, he's come to learn the basics and how to fire without hesitation or losing his stance. There's potential for some growth, perhaps, but his handlers have never allowed him to use traditional firearms, so his skill hasn't improved much.
Magic: 4 - Below Average ||||\\\\\\ Traditional magic is something only practiced by the upper-class and privileged of Cartes, Kain's homeland. Kain, having received a good education, was blessed with the foundations of magic, but due to his lower standing, didn't have the opportunity to practice or put it into use. In addition, his knowledge has faded a little with his years spent as a slave. Perhaps if Felarya rekindles his interest in magic, he may take it up again in full.
Technomagic: 8 - Exceptional ||||||||\\ Kain's primary skill, one he prides himself on. Cartes runs on the basis of technology powered by magic. It's a highly advanced form of runic magic, practiced and developed for years to mimic electronic equipment, mechanical equipment, and so much more, with some subtle and not-so-subtle differences. Even before being enslaved, Kain had chosen Technomagic as his main career path. While advanced technomagic requires more precious materials, like metals, plastics, crystals, power sources, and whatnot, very basic technomagic can be performed with most any solid surfaces, a few simple tools, and enough time. Most of Kain's equipment runs on technomagic, and he knows how to use it very, very well.
Survivalist: 7 - Very Skilled |||||||\\\ Often being on your own or lacking in resources means you have to fend for yourself. Kain isn't exactly MacGyver, but being on his own for a while, he's learned a few tricks and general rules to follow, along with basic methods of shelter, traps, and security. Above all, he's learned to rely on himself for these things.
---------
As the conversation between the group carried on, a seventh figure emerged from the distance, walking up the road opposite of the direction Kale and Evellic had come from. He wore a long, dark cloak that only shimmered on the inside, with line after line of criss-crossed, metallic substances taking the form of circuitry under its thick and heavy weave. The armor he wore was in pieces. An armored vest that, appearing similar to darkened Kevlar, covered him from top to bottom. He wore another layer, a simple black shirt and the equivalent of black jeans, beneath this armored layer. A skin-tight suit covered the rest of his body, bearing similar linings to his cloak.
A utility belt accompanied him, and on it were many things hanging along it or within its pouches. A combat knife was visibly strapped to his right hip, and the sheath of a moderately sized leaf blade was attached to his waist, along his left side. There was a small, simple pistol-like device in a holster on the right side of his waist, and slung across his back was a dufflebag, and an outlandish and somewhat blocky rifle, no larger than a G36, though it's barrel looked way to big for a rifle. Most of this might be lost to all but the more tech-minded of the group.
The man continued walking until he we'd be within ten feet of the gathering. There, he'd stop and look them all over, and think on each of them. Seline caught his interest, in a sort of curious and repulsing manner. Then, Eraiya- he hadn't seen catmen before. Catgirls, sure, he'd ran into a few of those, but not men. Then came Kale and Evellic. They were both huge for regular people. The man pondered if they'd been taking drugs or stimulants, but didn't give it much thought passed that. He wasn't sure how to react, so he didn't. He waited to be addressed, curious to see their reaction to him. He did, however, face a shoulder to them, hiding his pistol behind his cloak and body. The man set a hand on the grip of the pistol, just in case. After all, one could never be too sure of this place, or so he'd come to learn.

(Nice character Kaine! I particularaly like how you rated his skills. It gives me a good idea of what he is capable of. I might do it for Mortis as well. Also, did you draw that picture? If you did then congratulations, I can't even draw stick figures.)
(As for joining of course you can! But you are going to be the last one. Too many characters spoil the rp you know what I mean. I have noticed that this rp is getting a little slow lately so you can start a new thread if you want. There is no law against doing 2 rp's at the same time. )
Basking in the warm glow of the fire, Mortis admired the surrounding forest. The orangey red glow seemed to reveal a new side of Felarya. It was so beautiful and serene. As long as there wasn't anything trying to kill him.
Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a mysterious man in black looking towards the group. Men who stood in silence and wore black capes were usually hostile in some way, so he took precautions. He slowly stood up and walked towards the newcomer with his hand firmly on his sword handle, ready to draw it at a moments notice.
"So who might you be and why are you walking around the forest alone at this hour? Asked Mortis, nodding towards the setting sun.
Both his blue and his red eye repeatedly scaned the stranger. He didn't trust him just yet.

Thanks. Might be a good idea to start my own RP, too. Lol, that'll feel weird. Also, no, I didn't draw it, but I did edit it. It was a completely different picture before that. I did draw the background, though. And it's Kain, no 'e' at the end.
Ah, and the skill bars are something we came up with at another rp community I'm at. It does help figure out where the character stands, doesn't it?

"...Don't have a name." He pulled the front of his cloak aside to reveal three symbols: the Cartesian national crest, the the bank's seal, and a mark of servitude. The chances of anyone recognizing any of them would be low, considering Cartes' presence on Felarya was still minimal and new. "Servant'a the National Bank'a Cartes. I'm just passing through." That was all he was permitted to say. He could have said some more, but his resistance to the inhibitors didn't last that long... damned handlers.
The man relaxed his gun arm, deciding against starting up trouble. He turned the rest of his body to face the group. Again, out of not wanting to raise attention to himself, he kept his tone calm and held back the usual rudeness. Between the two owners of the large rifles and the two swordsmen, and that.. ant.. thing... he could tell there was much more to lose than to gain. Instead, he chose to divert their attention to.. the campfire, which he now stared at quite intently. "...That doesn' look like a good idea, unless this place's.. somehow.. safer than the rest'a the forest? What if those giant things catch wind?"

"No worries" Seline said with a shrug. "There's a pretty good shelter nearby. I'm using it as a temporary home. Heard this group on my way back there" She had walked towards the black clad newcomer while talking and now stopped in front of him. After bowing and introducing herself as usual, she looked uncaring at him. "Besides. We have quite a few people here, more than capable of surviving. So chances are that we'll only lose one or two people"

"I... see." He was more distracted by Seline than the campfire at this point. The man stared on in fascination before turning away, glancing over his shoulder at the path he'd come from. "I could use some rest..." He said this as he wandered over to a a patch of grass near the campfire "If you don't mind, that is." He set his dufflebag down, and waited for an answer.

" I sort of mind." scout said with an intrigued glance at Kain. "has anybody noticed that this area has been quite a trail for people?" she said logically while observing Kain's clothing and taking off her cloaking wear. "its just quite mysterious. usually a sentient predator would have picked up by now if it were smart on its hunting." she said i she llit her self a smoke and looked back at the rest. "No to be a drag but i think we're being watched. As if they're purposley letting us relax till the morning." She said as she exhaled a small stream of smoke from her lips while pondering. "we might need a watch men or two to safley say we're adequatley secured."

Upon hearing Scouts words the arena fighter's head shot up. "We aren't being watched at all and there is no immediate danger present at the moment. That campfire is also a really good idea." Evellic said in a rather quick matter with a nervous smile. Her eyes shifting back and forth as if trying to locate something. "It's been fun meeting you all but we really need to get going. This stuff isn't going to sell itself. Kale we need to.." She noticed that the man's attention was focused on something elsewhere. "What are you looking at?"
"A crow with glowing red eyes." Kale replied while looking at the bird perched on one of the tree branches. "The thing's been following us for a while now."
At that moment a glowing purple star with various shapes, symbols and runes appeared on the ground in front of them. In the middle of it, a shadowy shape began to materialize. It was an attractive woman dressed in a suit of shimmering black, jagged and demonic looking armor with a witches hat on her head. Her pale face was the only part of her that could be seen as a menacing looking staff materialized in her hand and the creepy looking crow perched itself on one of her armors spikes.
The glowing star then disappeared and the woman glanced at the people around her, a disdainful expression on her face. That is until she fixed her attention on Kale and Evellic. "Hey."
"Hi Andile." Evellic said casually. "What are you doing here and what's with the creepy looking crow?"
"Just testing out my new surveillance equipment." She replied, petting the crow on her shoulder. A serious look then crossed her face. "I don't know if you're aware of this or not but your gunshot attracted some very unwanted attention and I'm not talking about the mortals over there." She gestured to the rest of the group before continuing. "I'm not going to say much but you're surrounded. You should really trade that thing in for something quieter."
"So much for slipping away before disaster strikes." Kale said as he put both his hands on his face. "Wonderful! Now they know we're onto them and now the rest of the group is going to freak out. What the hell did you do that for?"
"Because." Andile started and leaned on her staff. "I can teleport us out of here but the catch is I'll need something in return." The spikes on her right leg melted into her armor as it smoothed out into a perfectly shaped leg. Without bending she managed to reach up and place her foot on Kale's shoulder in an extremely erotic fashion. "You know, some kind of appeasement for my services."
"I'll throw in some of the loot if you do one other thing for me as well." Kale said as he began whispering in her rear. Whatever he had said, made her smile evilly. "Oh you're a bad boy. I love it!"
She turned her attention to Scout and with a motion of her hand a large glob of barely transparent slug girl slime materialized above her head. When it fell she was drenched from head to foot and glued her to the ground in the process. With her deed done Andile grabbed Kale and Evellic as the same glowing blue star appeared around her. "Goodbye mortals" Was all she said and the three vanished into the black shroud.

"Hey where do you think you are going?! Are you just going to leave us here??"
Mortis watched as Kale and Evellic disappeared. This is exactly why he prefered to avoid people. Spend a long length of time around them and you get betrayed. He turned to the others and said: "So what are we going to do now? According to that freaky crow lady, we are surrounded by who knows what." He drew his sword and frantically scanned the surrounding area. "So anyone got a plan? Running isn't going to get us far if we are surrounded and if we fight we may all die."

Kain listened with a degree of visible apathy, but inside his head, he was both concerned and curious. "...Just us." The lack of the man with the rifle was a comforting. Less defense overall, but that didn't matter to him. He turned to Seline. "If your shelter's nearby, we'd better head for it and leave the fire to burn so they think we're still here." He picked up a piece of wood and drew his knife from its sheath. "Maybe start a couple more to confuse them."
Even with the idle planning, he spoke as if his interest was somewhere else entirely, because it was. Part of him would rather see what the people here were capable of... but, again, it didn't seem worth the trouble... Besides, one of them might be a potential ally. Well, what were the chances of that among a bunch met on the road, really? But chance was never on his side, anyway, so he ignored it and decided to keep up his charade.
