Biography: Mordal Oridium has been a native to Felarya his entire life. Since he was a boy, he has lived in Negav with his parents. Since the age of thirteen, Mordal has practiced the arts of swordplay and archery. Mordal grew up to be a fine young man, and joined the Negav Templars when he came of age. As a Templar, Mordal vowed to place the needs of others before his own, as well as protect the innocent from harm. On Mordal’s nineteenth birthday, his parents wished to speak to him about an urgent matter. When alone in the bedroom away from the party guests, Mordal’s father told him that he was not a human as he grew up to believe, but a member of an angelic race called the Angelae; a race of human-like people who were radiant and pure, and naturally skilled in combat. Mordal’s parents’ confession overwhelmed him. It all made sense to him then, why he was so skillful with combat and why he was always friendly with everyone. It was on Mordal’s birthday that his parents planned something truly incredible for him. Following a safe path through the Felaryan wilderness, Mordal and his parents arrived at the top of a large cliff that overlooked the city of Negav. Mordal’s parents simply told him to leap off of the cliff, and concentrate on flight. Mordal was reluctant, but watched in awe as his parents did so, only to sprout white feathered wings, allowing them to soar safely back to Negav. Mordal leaped off of the cliff just as his parents did. His heart raced as he closed his eyes, and he spread his arms out to his sides, concentrating on flight. Wings sprouted from his back, and he spread them, gliding safely toward the city. He felt so excited and happy that day.
Mordal walked up to his bedroom window as he yawned and stretched, having just woken up from a pleasant slumber. "It's a beautiful morning." He said as he smiled, looking out to view clear blue sky. It was then when he watched a falcon soaring high in the heavens. Mordal watched it in peace, knowing how it felt since he, too, knew the joy of flying. Deciding to head out, Mordal walked over to his armor rack before putting his steel blue armor on. He took his belt which had his sword's sheath, and strapped it around his waist, then sheathed his sword. Mordal then attached his shield to the strap on his back, and finally placed his helmet over his head. Light glistened off of Mordal's armor as he exit his home. After stopping by at a local shop to eat breakfast, he continued his journey out of the gates of Negav, where he trekked into the infamous world of Felarya. Once in the forest, Mordal sprouted his wings, and flapped his wings hard, causing him to fly high above the treetops. Once high enough, Mordal spread his wings wide so that he could glide peacefully. He couldn't help but smile as he looked at the world below him. Seeing the lush forests and glistening rivers and lakes seemed to entrance Mordal, making him forget to keep an eye out for airborne predators. "WOOHOO!" He shouted at the top of his lungs as he twirled, then went into a divebobmb, tucking in his wings for extra speed.

| Ha'dara crept quietly through the forest, passing a group of Human explorers while following a Duiker herd, waiting for a chance ' Lazy herds are getting harder to find...'. Just as he was about to go for it, all of them ran, startled by loud shouting from nearby. " ****" He cursed loudly watching them, grabbing and swallowing one that ran in the wrong direction. "Just one... great. Who scared them off?" He wondered outloud while looking around. | |

| Mordal was seconds away from the tree tops of the forest. He suddenly spread his wings at the last moment, and glided safely onto a tree branch. "Whoo...That was fun!" He exlaimed as he continued to smile, tucking in his wings.
However, Mordal's joy was short-lived. In the corner of his eye, he could see a large figure. Turning to look at it, Mordal froze in fear, seeing a 100 foot Naga closeby.

| Ha'dara looked over in the direction the humans were in 'It couldn't have been them, they already know there's a Naga around and would keep quiet'. About to stop and just look for the animals again, another person in the tree caught his eye and he looked up at Mordal, still feeling annoyed "You weren't there before, did you scare my lunch away?" | |

| Mordal remained still as the Naga spoke to him. By the sound of it, he was in deep trouble...And that was never a good thing when it came to the giant predators of Felarya.
"Um...No, at least I don't think I did." Was all he could muster to the large predator. Sure, Mordal was skilled in combat, but that didn't mean he could take out a Naga. It was then that he realized he was possibly the one that did scare away the Naga's lunch when he screamed at the top of his lungs.
The situation only seemed to become worse for Mordal. Since he was the one who scared away the Naga's lunch, and since he was the only small prey in the area at that moment, it spelt out doom or Mordal.
He decided thst it would be best to be honest with the one who might decide to eat him or not. Mordal sighed softly. "I think I am the one who scared away your lunch." He admitted. "I was flying and had so much fun that I screamed in hapiness."

| Ha'dara raised an eyebrow "Thanks to that, the herd I was following ran off. I only got one of them." Mordal didn't look like a competing predator, so it was probably not intentional. He could just find the duiker again.
"I won't hold a grudge if you know where I could find another duiker herd" he said, in a less agitated tone.

| Mordal shrugged slightly. "I honestly have no idea." He stated. "I'm not too familiar with Duiker behavior, so I wouldn't know where they would be from this are." | |

| Ha'dara sighed "Great, that means I'll have to track that herd down again after they've calmed down...". He looked back up at Mordal and frowned "Flying? Since when do humans fly?" | |

| Mordal gestured to his right wing as he spread it. "I'm actually not a human at all. I'm a member of a race called the Angelae." He explained before tucking his right wing in again.
He spread both wings, and hopped off of the branch, landing softly on the ground below, kneeling as he did to absorb some of the shock.
Mordal made his wings revert into his back, and stood at his full height, looking up at the Naga. "If you'd like, I can help you find another herd."

| "Oh, you seem Human without them. Never heard of the 'Angelae' before, learn something new every day." Ha'dara watched the wing display. After he landed, he thought about the offer "Yeah, sure. A bit of company never hurt anyone. I'm Ha'dara, by the way. Feel free to keep a small distence if you'd prefer." | |

| Mordal smiled at the Naga, and removed his helmet. "I don't think keeping any distance away from you will be necesarry. The name is Mordal, by the way."
He tucked his helmet under his left arm. "May I please ride on your shoulder? Only until my wings are fully rested. It will be difficult trying to keep up with a Naga." He joked.

| "Small people usually prefer to keep a distence from Nagas, at least some still don't." Ha'dara said, almost smiling while thinking 'Even if you did look like you almost had a heart attack before'.
"Sure." Ha'dara answered, waiting for him to land before heading off where the duiker ran. "Are you a local? People don't often get exited around here."

| Mordal's wings sprouted again, and flapped a few times, gettting Mordal high enough to land on Ha'dara's shoulder. His wings reverted once more.
"I actually live in Negav." Mordal explained. "I live there with my parents. As for the reason why I'm not afraid of you now, it's because I figured out that you don't eat humans. Especially since you didn't try to turn me into a meal after I made you lose your lunch."

| "Negav? That one I've heard of." Ha'dara said, not surprised, it didn't sound like a place you get much exercise.
He looked surprised "You figured out already? Impressive." He looked at him "Since you figured out, I don't eat people rather than just humans."

| "Yeah, I figured that." After about five minutes of traveling, Mordal's wings were fully rested.
The beautiful white wings sprouted from his back. "Okay, I'll head into the sky and see if I find any Dueki."
With that, Mordal took off into the skies, and soared in circles over the forest. Soon, he could spot a herd of Dueki down below in a clearing. He plummeted back toward Ha'darra, and halted in front of his face. "Okay, there is a heard due West from our position in a clearing."

| "Over to the west? Ok" Ha'dara turned and headed over until he spotted them, then started creeping around quietly and hid at the edge of the clearing until some moved close-by, grabbing and them quickly. He wasn't quick enough and the others fled, alerted.
"Great, I startled them this time!" He stood up and looked over where they used to be "Oh well, I guess that'll do for now. Now what?"

| Mordal landed next to Ha'darra. "Well, I suppose we can set up camp before it gets dark out." He suggested. | |

| "Yeah, but I'm not sure about the clearing; nowhere to hide and plenty of places for an ambush." Ha'dara shrugged "Then again, I'm probably bigger than most things around here..." He started to make sure the area was flattened and wondered out-loud "You don't know any ghost stories do you?" | |

| Mordal began to remove the rest of his armor, setting it down on the grass. He proceeded to remove his shield and strap that had his sword as well.
"Ah...Much better." He stretched, feeling good to be out of that armor. "Now, I'll find some wood to start a fire."

| Ha'dara laid down and stared up at the sky, daydreaming. 'Getting dark already? I must have lost track of time'. | |

| Mordal entered the forest, being cautious to not attract the attention of any predators in the area. He began to gather some fallen wood on the floor near the gigantic trees, making sure to collect a few small branches. However, he constantly checked above him to see if the tree he was under was a Dryad. In a few minutes, his arms were full.
As Mordal carried thewood in his arms, he suddenly heard a loud yawn from above him. He froze in place, and looked up, to see a Dryad stretching her arms. "Oh shit." Mordal whispered as he quickly walked back to the clearing before the Dryad was fully awake.
Once Mordal made it to the clearing, he made a wood pile with the branches that he collected. "Okay, this should be enough for now."
He kneeled in front of the pile, took two sticks, placed them in the pile in a criss-crossed position, and began to rub them together in order to create friction.
Before long, a small fire formed inside the pile. Mordal blew on it, causing it to slowly engulf the rest of the pile. The fire crackled as it licked the wood.
Mordal stood up, admiring the flame and enjoying the warmth that touched his skin. Suddenly, he heard a growl eminate from his stomach, and he looked over to Ha'dara. "Hey, do you have any extra meat?" Mordal asked. "I'm pretty hungry at the moment."

| Kale's stomach growled again, and he gripped his stomach with his right hand as he looked down at it. "Damn. I can't hunt for any food myself...I left my bow and arrows back at my house." | |

| Ha'dara sighed and looked up again, before getting back up "I'll go and see if I can find anything." Heading off towards the edge, he looked back "Does it have to be meat? Because there's probably fruit around." | |
