One of the more widespread breeds of harpy, these human-sized creatures have the wings and coloration proper of a pigeon or dove, and their hardy nature has allowed them to thrive in a large number of environments. More famously, though, Columbas have adapted to urban life and they are found in most towns and cities all over Felarya, specially in Negav.
A Columba's personality can be likened to that of a street thug. They typically gather in big flocks that roam the streets and rooftops in search of food, primarily small animals, plants, tinies and discarded meals. Large cliumps of feathers in their chests and fan-like tail feathers can be puffed and displayed respectively to appear larger and intimidating, and they often use this to bully unlucky citizens into giving up any food they might carry or any object that looks interesting to them. In truth, Columbas are cowardly and insecure creatures that only feel safe when in big numbers, and actively avoid all sort of conflict with midsize or larger races. This is more obvious when they're caught alone, as a Columba will quickly submit to their opressor in a desperate attempt to escape unscathed. Greedy gluttons as they are, they are specially willing to do whatever they are asked when there's food to be had
Columbas in general have poor hygienic habits and are usually dirty or covered in parasites. They make curious cooing noises between their usual harpy dialect, and have the habit of constantly looking around themselves in fast-as-a-blink movements, a clear reflection of their insecurity
