I just thought of having a creature that for once, our technology oriented buddies have the edge over our magic using friends, just to balance things.

Tunneler Tonorion

Size: 30'-140' in length
Threat: Moderate to Medium-High
Location: Anywhere Tonorions are presents

This variety of Tonorion is less armored than the others and can bend their body like a worm. However, They possess much stronger claws and fangs, capable of crushing rocks with little effort which they use to make their tunnel networks connected to the Hive. Their anti-magic aura is more or less as strong as other Tonorions, though still powerful enough to render Fairies and other magical creature powerless. Their usual hunting habit is often to burrow under their prey and gobble them from below. This works half the time as if they encounter a boulder in their path, they will make a loud noise while crushing it. If that doesn't work, they simply tries to capture their preys like other Tonorions do, though they will often use tunneling tactics such as a funnel in the same manner as an antlion larva or dive on their prey to bring him underground. Their claws and jaws are much more deadly than regular Tonorions, so one hit is often a fatal one. However, being less armored, physical assaults are more effective and they are less agile, this makes up for their stronger offense. They still pose a threat against adventurers, but those that possess high firepower can deal with them, not all the time that is. They are considered the workers of the Hive, thus the weakest of them in fights. Since they work a lot, they are more voracious than regular Tonorions, thus they will always try to swallow you whole before attempting anything else.

I thought Abyssals were ridiculously plated, Tunnelers have less plating than regular Tonorions. I simply came with that idea for a future chapter in my story with a battle inspired on Molgera's in Wind Waker. And anyway, since the Tonorions have a Hive like mind similar to that of ants, they seemed to lack workers.
