Since it is mentioned in the wiki but never had an entry...
Solaros is a quite rare kind of angel. They have a massive pair of wings, which possess a golden sheen. Their name comes from the aura around their body. While most angels are capable of turning the faint glow around their bodies into a dazzling light, Solaros' light is miles brighter than other angels, close to that of the sun. This light is so radiant that it actually makes Succubi uneasy, sometimes making them downright nauseous. Solaros are usually viewed highly by other angels, as it is considered an honor to serve directly under a god. A Solaros' personality vary quite a bit, from solemn watchmen, to humble, yet jolly folks. Most Solaros are incredible spellcasters and possess a deep, commanding voice, thanks to the ridiculous amount of holy energy within them, and are often seen as elite soldiers or commanders.
As stated before, they serve directly under a god, which they refer to as a master. It is through this servitude that their their amazing powers come from. Should their master die, or they are shunned by him, they only have a limited lifespan before vanishing entirely, as seen by their glow slowly dimming. When that happens, they become increasingly sleepy and hungry. A dimming Solaros will often hunt anything and everything they come across in hopes of regaining their energy. This is entirely inefficient and the time they gain that way is incredibly short compared to how much energy they lose. The only way to stave off oblivion is to find a new master to serve, or redeem themselves in the eyes of the former one.
The appearance of a Solaros can be good or bad, as it generally means that you have caught the attention of a particular god. In favorable scenarios, the Solaros act either as a messenger, or a courier. In unfavorable scenarios, the Solaros either came to deliver an ominous warning, or was sent to hunt down a particular individual.
