| Okay, as far as I can see this hasn't been really discussed, at least not threadwise. I think most of us have seen instances of predators just 'spitting up' their prey, but not actually, like, vomiting, and I was wondering how this is, or what that's supposed to mean. Then I found out that babies have an automatic reflex that causes them to just kind of harmlessly spit up if their stomach gets too full, and that made me think, maybe that's the same sort of thing that predators do. Only instead of losing it after a certain age, they keep it as they mature, and they even learn to control it. Any thoughts? | |

| Oh yeah, I heard something about this.
I always assumed people didn't wanna deal with the whole mess of vomit, so they handwave it with spitting up.
Didn't really bother me that much, unless the vomit was key to the story, like some kind of Earthbound-ian adventure.

| Another complicating factor is that what comes up when vomiting depends on what is in the stomach already. If the stomach is already empty, nothing come up, as any of us who have had the misfortune to that sick can attest. So if the stomach only contains a few humanoids and is otherwise "clean", we shouldn't expect there to be much mess. | |

| Yeah I always felt the spitting up aspect was far strecthed, I prefer the idea of sicking them up, but then again I am that sort of person. I like a bit of realism in my vore.
Forcing a sick reflex isn't hard, shove your fingers down your throat and that often does it (or let someone else stick their fingers down there, works quicker)
As for the issue of a partly empty stomach, fill it out with fluids. Drinking too much can greatly help with making someone sick, If that fails, make them spin on the spot XD
Not that I advise these tricks in real life (unless there's a good reason, like removing consumed poison). Forcing yourself to be sick these ways are not really healthy for your system, your throat can get sore and obviously drinking too much fluids won't do you any good, and neither will constantly throwing up all the time. But this is just fiction and normally there is a good reason why a predator would want someone back out so I don't see why they won't try these methods.

| For me I tend to feel sick if I too quickly drink lots of chocolate milk or a similarly thick dairy product. Dunno if it works for anyone else though. | |

| I'm not sure, but maybe there was some confusion. The part at the end of my post about 'learning to control it' was meant to imply that their stomach didn't necessarily have to be full in order to spit something up, y'know? :3 I was just trying to come up with a way to explain the idea. | |
