| We aren't talking about your char Ultimate. We were just discussing if a lightsaber would work inside a stomach. I reckon that it would, but if the stomach belongs to Crisis you might as well use the saber on yourself. XD | |

| Falling, dude! If the thing's at your hip and you land ass-first in stomach acid, it's not really going to make a difference how not full of acid it is. XD | |

| Wait Nyaha making them look up to her would make her mary-sue or keeping what I have? =o And I probably should have stated more clearly that when in the village her trying to be better than everyone got her trouble, because it made her get in other people's way! XD For instance if there was some prey before them and someone else had a better shot at it, she would get in the way. Often times letting valuable food get away because of her insistant need to be number 1 ^^ The skin color change was simply something that I thought looked cool in my head and a shout out to a manga I use to read ^^ I'll get rid of the element type though XD

| When you explain their dislike of her like that it makes more sense. Be sure to put that in there. Also, her being looked up to would make her mary sue, but you've explained that already so nevermind.
Ultimate, would you mind spoilering your siggy? ^^; It kinda' makes my computer run funky whenever it shows up on screen. | |

| I've been given free reign to start the RP, however as this is Nyaha's baby, I'm going to come up with the first post and send it to him for confirmation, as it does kind of set the tone for the rest of the game. | |

Yeah... nah. I think that at least would get through. Maybe some of those preds that have that whole "magic stomach" that's also a mini-dimension or whatever would take it, but as far as I know Crisis is not one of them. I'm thus picturing a few charred bits of Crisis stuck to trees here and there, the rest of her vaporized. Because nukes. Anyway, I'm pretty sure you were kidding so I'll quit ranting about it xD | |

| Nope, I still think there's too much there. -.- I don't see why he needs the wire glove weapons or the poisons when he has such powerful psionic ability, and seriously, you need to give him some sort of physical foil or weakness to balance those out. Also, don't forget to change his current version so that it includes 17 years worth of character development (which doesn't have to be a great change, like I said, but it should be significant enough to differentiate him from his present time self.) | |

| If I may cast my opinions on this subject, I agree with Nyaha. Here, let me try to sum up the things that start ringing OP alarm bells.
>Mind reading is a very controversial power. Why? Because it is essentially god modding. Since you know everything a person is thinking, you could just avoid all of their attacks, or know in advance what they plan to do. Outside of combat, mind reading means that characters cannot keep secrets, which dilute the plot and makes it less enjoyable.
>Judging by the way you describe his gauntlets, they are essentially like lightsabers. Thats pretty OP already, but as if that wasn't enough, the fact you can manioulate the wires with the mind means that there is no dodging them. How could an opponent dodge one of your attacks if you knew which way he was going to dodge thanks to mind reading? Get the picture?
>Psychokinesis is fine, but telekinesis needs limits. If you can pick an opponent up with telekinesis, there is no resisting it and you are practically controlling their character. AKA godmodding.
>The amount of equipment he carries is rediculous, not even a proffessional mercenary would carry so much gear. Combine that with his psychic abilities and thats a one man army you have there.
>There are no flaws in his personality! You say that he is mentally unstable, and then contradict yourself by saying he is logical. He is practically immune to pain by the sounds of things aswell! What are his fears? Does he mask his fears in pride and confidence? Is he sao evil becuase of something from his past? At the moment his personality is extremely shallow.
Honestly, I could go on and on, giving you a ton of things that ring alarm bells.
Your character, as it stands currently, has OP written ALL over it. A GM would have to be a moron to allow a character like that into their rp.
So why am I telling you this? Because I made the same mistake too! When I wrote Mortis' bio for the first time, I thought it was fine at the time, but looking back now I see how rediculously OP he was. Thats why over the years since then, I made tweaks here and there to both his personality and to his abilities. Balance is the key word here. For every plus there must be a minus that is equal too, or greater then, the plus. As a rule of thumb, a character should ALWAYS have more weaknesses then strengths. No one wants to see a character that can just click his fingers and ahnihilate a predator. Think about it! If your char were to go up against a giant naga you would win one hundred percent of the time. And it would be EASY. Thats the point you see. Theres nothing wrong with winning, but you have earn your win. If you have OP powers that just kill everything easily, then no one cares.
Nergal needs ALOT of work. I'm not going to lie to you or sugarcoat the truth. As of right now, Nergal is completely unacceptable. There isn't even one redeeming factor in his bio. Not even one! Not one good thing can be said about him right now. So hes powerful, so what? Power isn't a quallity. Power must be balanced and carefully maintained.
I'm not saying you should give up on rping, and I'm not saying that Nergal will ALWAYS be OP. He just needs a major overhaul. If you need any assistance, like if you want to know what is and isn't OP, I will be glad to help you out. ^^ | |

| Uh Mortis don't you think your being a tad mean or a bit rude? =o Sorry for getting involved and I agree with a lot of stuff you said but I'm not sure you needed to say it the way you did exactly. I think there is a better way to help Darth tone down his character than with the tone you used. I mean we aren't GMing this game anyway. I think Nyaha was handling it well already, he was pointing out things he didn't like or doesn't think will work without it sounding like a personal attack. Darth doesn't strike me as the type that needs to be slapped down in order to understand something needs to be changed ^^ I understand some people do need the no sugar coating treatment. So yeah just my two cents ^^ again I apologize about being nosy and taking up space in your thread Nyaha X< | |

| It's okay, Saen, I'm proud of you for sticking up for your beliefs. But I'm actually glad Mort stepped in to back me up here. ^.^ I know that what he said sounds harsh, and that's because it totally is, but at the same time I don't think he was being rude or doing it to be rude. The main thing there is that he didn't swear. That's always a nice touch in criticism, plus I think the relative harshness is justified given the amount of problems with Nergal's character, y'know? | |

Well he uses the wires with his Psionic abilities, so they go hand in hand. Also, I wouldn't trust my life to a single ability no matter how powerful it is, and since Nergal is a lot smarter, decietful, and deadly then I'll ever be I can be sure he wouldn't either. Think of it like magic, a wizard isn't going to trust their life only on their magic because there are things in Felarya that are immune to magic. Therefore, wizards, and all spellcasters, have backup plans and weapons. Heck, Kira, who uses energy based magic, also has her gloves and boots. The same goes with Psions. Psionic abilities are not infalible, just like magic is not infalible. I went ahead and removed the poisons thoigh, since you do make a good point. The herbs stay though, since everyone can make good use of herbs, and also because I added things that really are useless in a fight but are still nice to have. He does have the physical weakness that naturally comes with being a Psionic. If he opens his mind up, even for an instant, things are capable of getting in, especially in this kind of an RP world. He also loses presicion and focus when he moves while using his Psionic abilities, which can be devastating if it happens at the wrong moment. Having your focus broken while you're trying to fight your way into another person's mind not only makes you have to start over, but it gives your target a chance to turn the tables and enter your mind. His skills would roughly stay the same after 17 years, he'd just become more proficient with them. Like he would need to concentrate less and less to use certain skills. For example, he could lift something small, like around the size of a tiny, without a second thought. It would make him a more effective fighter, but that's about it. His personality would remain mostly the same. | |

| See, there's another problem. I don't think it would, his personality. There should be at least some small, significant thing that happens to him and changes how he thinks or how he looks at certain things, something! Otherwise what's the point of this being set in the future? D: | |

| Aaand there, I went ahead and scrapped Nergal until he is ready for a large scale RP like this. ^_^ Now we have the future Leila. - Leila:
Name: Leila Seamair
----------
Age: (Need more info on Fairy aging. Like when do they become adults, ect.)
----------
Gender: Female
----------
Race: Canopy Fairy
----------
Min. Height: 3 inches
Max Height: 105 feet.
----------
Weight: Refused to give this information. When pushed, the interviewer was eaten, temporarily.
----------
Threat Level: Low
----------
Occupation: Her main job is to act as a guard in Nergal's mercenary group and as a diplomat for the group when they run into predatory problems. She also acts as the secondary spell caster, and as a secondary transportation option if need be.
----------
Appearance: Leila has long blonde hair that falls just below her shoulders and is a fair-skinned Caucasian. Her wings are a light blue color, and are partially see through. She wears a black dress that falls down to about her knees, with the boarder of said dress a light pink. Finally, she carries two small bags that are tied to her waist. Inside one, she keeps random stuff like a few weapons, different types of ammunition, food, water, and other survival needs. The other bag is filled with nice, warm, soft pillows and blankets, and she uses it to carry people. While she can change her size at will, she prefers to stay at a small 5 inches
----------
Personality:
Over the last two years Leila has changed from happy-go-lucky to a quieter and more reserved Fairy. She is less likely to try and befriend random people, and all around less trusting of others. She's also gained a dark streak, and will not hesitate to kill people who threaten her and will, more often then not, show no mercy to those threats. She still tries not to eat people, but has become slightly more voracious
----------
Likes: Eating would be heroes, reading, human technology and weapons, playing pranks, cuddling tinies (which includes those she shrinks), being tiny herself (it lets her ride on people's heads and shoulders.) and Italian food.
Dislikes: Hurting others for no reason, people running away from her when she is not actually out to eat or prank them, random people, and/or predators threatening her friends or those under her protection, the dark.
----------
Abilities:
She is a skilled sorcerer, though not as powerful as Sariah. She is most skilled in size changing magic, transportation, and warp spells, and is being taught some combat magic. She is also a fairly good shot when it comes to firearms. Her job allows her to have access to guns, and she always makes sure to carry at least two at a time. This is often all she ever needs, as the weapons change size when she changes size. Even if she is just carrying a small caliber pistol, that pistol can do a lot of damage when it is properly proportioned to a 105-foot tall fairy.
----------
Personal Quote: "TLook, I used to be all happy and fun all the time, but then life hit me. I learned the hard way that life just slaps you in the face. All you can expect from this world is cold, hate, pain, and death."
