| From Rooster Teeth productions comes a little show named RWBY, an original series created by their own Monty Oum. I'll let the show speak for itself, but I'll say that it's just fantastic! I love it and I believe that some of you might and some of you might not. I'd like to hear what y'all think.

| I should've anticipated someone would make this thread. I've been awaiting the premiere for a while and, well... it's pretty much exactly what I expected. Like every other thing I've seen out of Monty Oum, it consists almost entirely of cute girls (who may or may not be wearing armor) fighting a bunch of other people using gratuitously flashy moves. Now that's not a BAD thing... and so far the plot doesn't seem too flimsy, so I'll be looking forward to the next one. | |

| Even if it proves mediocre, it'll pave the way for other Western anime to come. In a few years we might well see some of the best anime ever created, international artists finally getting proof that they do have a chance to succeed in that market and having the motivation to try. | |

| I've watched the two episodes and I'm loving the show so far. American made Anime is rare, but it's in good hands. Roosterteeth is good at what they do. And if fans react like they did/do to RvB, it'll be around for a long time. | |

| (There's 3 now btw... and I didn't check today so there might be 4...) So far it strikes me as completely average and unremarkable among other anime... which is a GOOD thing! I didn't say it was bad, and it is getting slightly better over time. The important thing is that it holds my interest as well as most other anime, which is a good sign because it means Americans can do it too and not fail miserably. As I mentioned, I have high hopes it'll act as a democratizing force for the genre. Also I really liked this one line from Episode 2: "Yeah, we can go shopping, and paint our nails, and talk about cute boys like tall-blonde-and-scraggly over there." "Really?!?" " NO." I lol'd... | |

| I have been trying to watch this show, but so far it's not going well. DX Whenever I click the link in the first post of this thread, it opens the new tab, things go okay, then as soon as it starts my computer slows down and the fan runs full-blast, preventing me from watching or hearing the show! DX Old computer is old. Anyone have advice that I can use without having to ask my mom's permission to do something to her computer? DX | |

| I may be mistaken but I think the videos are accessible on YouTube.
P.S. if you have Firefox, I recommend the plugin "DownloadHelper" which allows you to save a copy of any embedded video, so if your streaming speed is crappy you can just download it and watch the video all nice and smoothly on your own time.

| The plot is really starting to pick up, with - Spoiler:
Ruby becoming the leader of team RWBY at the end of episode 8
. We should start seeing the plot start to get into the rising action of the season. Teams have been set, and the guy with the cane (can't remember his name) has plans to - Spoiler:
do some kind of attack on Vale.
What do you guys think? | |

| Is it just me or is the animation gradually getting worse? | |

| Okay, I've gotten up to episode eight. :3 I started watching videos with headphones so I don't have to stop them every time the computer runs loud because it's old and have stopped trying to watch the show while simultaneously doing other things so it's working out pretty well. ^_^ I really love the characters, and how they keep to their personalities. That's just good writing. Not like most of the animes I've been watching lately (And it's been slim pickings for me T_T). I also like the part where - Spoiler:
Ruby ran up the cliff and scythed off that bird's head.
I LOVE awesome flashy shit like that!!!! XD

| I honestly can't wait for season 2 as well. Every bit of that show leaves me wanting more. I'm also interested to learn more about the Faunas race in the show. Especially Blake with the neko ears. Though, I figured that they would've given her a tail as well, but I digress. | |
