Ancient Civilizations

Okay, so I've seen a lot of stuff about treasure hunters and the tombs they have explored. For example, Subeta the treasure hunting Canopy fairy, and all of the human adventurer characters being created by people here on the forums. But what I'm not really finding much information on is the kind of treasures that can be found, or what there would be ruins of. The only ruins I've really seen are Ur-Sagol, and there is very little information on the wiki about that. So I've been thinking; maybe we could start delving into the history of Felarya, and start fleshing out civilizations that existed before Negav and Safe Harbor. If we know what kind of things existed before, how they came to be, and possibly how they dissapeared, we could have a better grasp of the kind of ancient artifacts your adventurers could find.

So, does anyone have any ideas?

Also you don't need a long dead civilization. There's vanishing lands and the already wonderfully esablished places like Latarn Temple, Milkaldis Temple and Aureusuna (though if you don't recognize that one? Don't kick yourself. It's pretty well hidden on the map.). That's just the temples. There's also, if you stupid, Superozad or tye Crystal Caves. ^_^; But I don't recomend those to any newbie adventurers. Also there's the option of just making up some fannon ones! The Spetz live in a gutted out temple that they found somewhere near the Ascarlin Mountains. It's never stated what it was called, but they did find some Ascarlin. See great aventurers don't need road maps. We go where we want and do what we want because an adventurer is free!...Till you get eaten. Then you're well imprisoned for a few hours and your name is erased from the leader boards.

People also come up with ideas for legendary artifacts sometimes in the Community Artifacts thread, which you can find in my siggy or as a sticky in the ideas discussion threads. =^_^= And like Jedi said, you can always make up your own. That's kind of the magic of Felarya as a setting: it gives writers a ton of creative freedom.

No problem! Felarya is a big place. ^_^ It's hard to know where everything is if you don't read the wiki or stop to ask somebody! Though if they have shiny wings and attena, it may not be a good idea.
