| The Jar'El:
The name of this sect is whispered with fear and resentment in Negav. The incursions of these elves into the city have in the past caused untold damage. Their irascibility, selfishness and ruthlessness are without peer: they come bringing tremendous destruction and leave without a word.
Their first objective is pretty clear. Showing them a pot will make those elves shatter it on the spot without a second thought: city guards freeze at the sight of these demihumans clad in green, and even the Magiocrats prefer to pay for the immediate replacement of the pots than to face their wrath. How can they tell so clearly where pots end and jars begin is a difficult question, and their usual response is a pot-berserking rage.
They show up once every season in Negav, clad in their green clothes and caps, shattering every pot and searching every jar they find. Then they leave, but once the pots are replaced, they seem to show up again. It doesn't matter how well people hide their pots: rooftops, basements, even completely sealed off rooms are not beyond their reach: their resourcefulness in reaching it is incredible.
They are rumored to have a second objective: to recover something that they refer to as the Jar. No one but the Jar'El has ever seen the Jar, and people can only guess what's inside it. This Jar was a relic that was lost by their founder many ages ago. A fortunate individual discovered they are interested in jars of dirt: Flaunting those has allowed many people to get the Jar'El to stop whatever they were doing and come looking for the jar of dirt, so it's assumed their jar is at least half full of dirt. What is there beside dirt, people can only guess what's inside it: rumor has it inside the jar, beneath the dirt, is actually another, smaller jar. The same rumors circulate about that smaller jar.

| It's all part of their intimidation tactics to force you to hand over your pots to smash and jars to take. XD | |

| Brilliant Douglas Adams/Terry Prachett styled humor! I a also caught a Jack Sparrow reference in there mayhaps? Or perhaps I just love that movie/character too much. Either way they are hilarious lore! Good work. | |
