| Well, here's another thing I've been thinking. Humans and nekos are almost always depicted as walking through the jungles of Felarya. But honestly, since when do civilised people walk. Since way back when, humans have been looking for ways to not have to walk. Everything from riding horses then, to driving cars and planes now.
So why wouldn't Felarya be the same. What kind of ways do Felaryans get around. Anything from beasts of burden to mechanical vehicles. Remember, one of the main selling points for a vehicle in Felarya would be safety, either through speed, camoflague, or protection.

| Miratans use mechas, Terrians uses hi-tech vehicles. Reason is probably due to the majority of people exploring Felarya are explorers. And, I don't think driving a car in a thick jungle is safe. Lot's of car accidents and probably a branch in the eye. | |

| Yeah. Alot of the smart ones use mecha to traverse the area. I mean, preds won't want to go near you if you're 30 feet tall and smell of metal. And since certain magic can't even touch you in a mecha, you're even more safe.
(well, most magic is ineffective)

In Rin's adventure a miratan has been eaten by predator, his mecha was ripped open like paper To the magic protection a predator can use a non magical item as conductive to their magic so beware

| Desert Viper Class: Ground Viper Vehicles of the line: TBVC-01 Desert Viper Unit Type: Ground Assault Vehicle Manufacturer: Terrian Attack Force Operator: Terrian Alpha Team First Deployment: A.U. 2007 Dimensions: Length 30 meters, Height 18 meters Weight: 80.6 tons Propulsion: 4x Ion Thrusters, 4x Hover Thrusters Equipment and Design features: Bio Radar Fixed Armaments: 6x VL Class Laser Gun Placements, VL Class 1x Dual Barrel Laser Turret. Technical and Historical Notes When the Terrians began to explore the surface world above Terria they started to realize how dangerous it was to travel on foot. In order to remedy this, they began a project to develop special vehicles that would allow them to have an easier time traversing the different areas of Felarya. These special vehicles would be called Vipers and depending on what role they had, they were either called Ground Vipers, Sea Vipers, or Air Vipers. The first Viper vehicle created, the TBVC-01 Desert Viper was based off a mining vehicle that the Terrians used to get around the Lamina cave system. It was also powered by a large Phokesian Gem. The Desert Viper was revolutionary because it was the first vehicle to use a smaller version of the Terrians Bio-Radar. The Bio-Radar is a special sensor that tracked biological life forms, or more specifically, Predators. With this radar, the crew inside the Viper could tell when a Predator spotted them and then they could defend themselves more efficiently if the Predator moved in to attack. With six automated laser gun placements and a powerful Laser Turret, the Desert Viper was more than capable of holding off a predator attack, or if the crew chose to, they could easily out run a Predator with the Vipers powerful thrusters. The Terruim alloy it was constructed out of also gave the Viper very good endurance.
The Desert Viper was deployed on A.U. 2007 and went through several tests that year before being used by the Terrian Alpha Team on A.U 2008 to escort Alexis Lunas to the Great Rocky Fields. It would be there that the Desert Viper fought and was almost completely destroyed by a Predator that ironically couldn’t be detected by its precious radar.

| Well sure, some of the more advanced races use mechs, or powered exoskeletons. But not everyone is that advanced. Daimo has got the right idea. I wanna see some ideas for new ones too!
For instance, did you know there is a tribe of humans who ride kensha beasts? They somehow where able to tame them as cubs and rear them to be mounts. This nomadic tribe roams the area north of the Jewel River.
Okay, so that example came out more like a rumor. But you get the idea. Different cultures in different areas would have different ways to get around. Hell, there may even be a group of nekos who travel about the Akaraptor desert on unicycles!

The answer is yes there is a a tribe of humans who does that except the Kensha are not tamed they tell the kenshas decide to help them by themselves. But they are not alone some shamans in Felarya have been seen riding ghost of a kenshas, the most famous is a blind female neko and her strange black kensha with red eyes as mount=D

| Mech, to me, seems the worst way to travel on Felarya (Except next to tanks) when traveling alone. Each is loud, pretty big, relatively slow, etc.
Cavalry would be nice... if it weren't for all the vegetation. Maybe some sort of lizard as cavalry, or a bird capable of flight?
Rail is almost as bad as Mech and Tank. Faster, but with a given path all predators can watch at their leisure.
Underground tunnels and jets seem the best and safest form of travel. Worse comes to worse and you run into a Harpy with your jet, both of you go up in flames and you don't have to deal with the stomach acid problem.

Can't be further from the truth there. Some mechs are just horrible at transportation. Basically nothing more than noise machines on legs. Am I right? (thankfully not all of them are like that)

(thankfully not all of them are like that) Yup, like the Dom from MSG. That can hover across the ground at 240 km/h and it carries a friggen 880mm rocket bazooka. Then you have the Valkyries from Macross and the Lightweight Armored Cores.

| I can see one problem with mechs.
To a Silver Succubi, it could be a meal in a can. Not to mention all the metal means a nice lightining rod for those with the right elemental bearing.

| I'd go for something relatively light and fast, such as a hover vehicle, an ATV, dirt bike, or even a bicycle. By rail is my favourite mode of transport, but Malahite is certainly right. It's impractical in a place such as Felarya. Tunnelling machines such as a Nod Subterranian APC can avoid the wall of scale trick that nagas like to use on travellers, though who knows what dangers lie underground. Also, 'jets' aren't very maneuvrable, unless they're VTOL, I'd suggest something along the lines of an ORCA fighter, Venom scout craft, or Reaper gunship. | |

| Problem is, if you can make a Mech capable of traveling Felarya in a fast, safe manner, you already have the technology to create better means of transportation. They can be good, yes. But that's like saying tanks are a wonderful mean of travel, and then providing a Bolo Mark XXXIII as an example. | |

Meh. Still, it's all a matter of taste. Some mechs just have that homely feeling to them, and can keep you safe in a pinch. I still prefer them to tanks, really.

| I would choose a fast offroad vehical, an ATV or dirtbike. maybe a light troop transport a Humvee, Jeep or an off road truck. those have the mobility and speed to manuver in the Felaryan jungle. I would not use an aircraft as they are noisey and I prefer the cover of the jungle. | |

ATV and Dirtbike seem the best to me out of the ground ones you listed, as they are pretty fast and can pretty much be manually moved over some obstacles better than a Humvee or Jeep. Sacrifice cover in return, though. And Aircraft may be noisy, but it helps that they can travel faster than the speed of their passage.
